I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel on the beach front. The staff were very welcoming and the hotel was clean and modern. The food was great and hospitality exceeded my expectations. I was only there for 5 nights but honestly I wish I had booked a little longer. I had an amazing massage at h spa too which was very affordable. All round great value for money. I would highly recommended. Thank you to all the staff for a pleasant stay :)

Wow! Hipotels, what a wonderful short stay. I highly recommend. Such a clean, calm, friendly hotel. The staff went above and beyond at all times and nothing was too much. Whilst here, we stayed in room 268 - absolutely beautiful. My friend also had her birthday whilst here and the staff took it upon themselves to surprise her with a special table for birthday breakfast, including champagne and a candle, to top this they also left a box of biscuits in our room as a gift- Thank you! The surrounding area is picturesque and quiet- just outside of the main area of puerto del Carmen, but only a short taxi ride away. Entertainment is great and plenty of options throughout the day. If you’re looking to come to Lanzarote then this is the place to stay. We are sad we had to leave but will definitely be returning. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Hipotels La Geria for a perfect, relaxing stay.

A big thanks to the hotel and the staff for a lovely time and cozy stay. The hotel is very clean and cozy! I definitely recommend the hotel for a stay, whether you’re solo, couple or family.
Location: The hotel is located almost at the waterfront in Puerto del Carmen, with a large beach sitting right across the street from the hotel. To get to the main promenade it only takes a 10 minutes walk. Everything, from gift shops, bars and restaurants are right there to explore and enjoy.
Hotel cleanliness: To us the hotel seemed impeccably clean. Our room was very clean and tidy. The hallways, lobby and especially the buffet area were also very clean and well maintained. Rooms are cleaned every day if you want them. The staff was so kind they even folded my T-shirt s few times, even though it was not necessary. Still a huge thank you to the maids for the effort.
Food: We don’t have big complaints about the food. The breakfast and dinner buffet could use a little bit more variety and to add a corner for kids but otherwise was generous. You have the everyday essentials: eggs, cheeses, cereal, salads, smoothies, fruits, breakfast meats. For dinner you have pasta, fish, chicken, beef stew (all rotated from day to day.
Entertainment: Live music, karaoke, bingo 😂 all very entertaining and fun. Most importantly, it’s not intrusive if you’re in your room and it ends by 23:00h which is absolutely brilliant!
Past the reception there is a book rack with easily over 100 books to choose from if you like to enjoy a good read.
Staff: Very friendly and kind staff all around! We stayed in hotels where experience with staff was mixed, but here everyone was very kind and helpful.
Pool: There is one outdoor pool. However, more than big enough for enjoying a relaxing swim or cool off during the summer time. For the little ones, there is a pool that’s about knee deep and the water isn’t too cold either.
Playground: There is a tiny playground for kids just past the pool. It has a little treehouse, slide, and a seesaw. Perhaps not the most sophisticated playground but it is functional and accessible.
Balcony: The balcony was very spacious, clean and the table and chairs were great as well.
Bar: Very fun and making excellent cocktails that are affordable and not watered down!!

Great hotel with lots to do, had great entertainment also, we went before New Years Eve and they put on a gala that was fab. All the staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you, cleaners were constantly cleaning and to a high standard, and is also a great location. After having a small problem the deputy manager didn't hesitate to resolve it, which we were happy with. We will certainly return to this hotel again as can't fault it. Would highly recommend it, we have stayed in lots of hotels but this has been way beyond our expectations. Well worthy of a 5 star

Super location. Welcome was excellent. Breakfast very good. Bar staff seemed to be under duress to make sales, but relaxed after change of shift/manager. Have stayed before and La Geria was great fun, but change of ownership seems to have taken the life out of the place. Like others have said, glasses not collected from room, a small thing but along with no seat/desk and fridge door opening against the outer door, place feels like pennies are being watched more than the comfort / experience.
