Came to the Granada apartments with my 9 year old son, 9 month old daughter and husband for a week in Aug 2026 from Manchester. After reading some of the reviews I was a little apprehensive about what our accommodation would be like and how ‘steep’ the hill actually is! Firstly, we arrived at 3am after a good flight from Liverpool. We got here having not received any check in information. The desk wasn’t manned and there wasn’t a soul on site. We did fairly quickly see a number on the doors to call and got self catering key instructions. The apartment number was hard to find and all kids and us were exhausted and dripping with sweat at this point, lots of hills within the accommodation too but we followed the map given and got there eventually. We’re a fit and active family so the hills were fine for us but if you’re not used to exercise, they’re pretty tiring when it’s so hot so be prepared (Aug) The accommodation was, very very dated. I’m fine with that, luxury trip wasnt on the cards this time however prepare yourself for curtains around the shower and a shower head not much bigger than my toothbrush. We were both initially pretty disappointed with the aesthetic but; that being said, it was traditional and very clean, lots of fresh towels and ritual soaps and body wash etc to use. Bedroom good, living room area fine, nice balcony and surrounding setting. The ceiling fans are the only form of “aircon” and literally blow nothing but hot air around the room. Room temp was unbearable- Bring own fans if possible!!! Our kids found sleeping incredibly hard until we bought some from the shop. Beds and sleeping. Me and the kids in the bedroom and my husband was in the lounge. Mattresses fine to start, by day 3 our backs felt broken. WiFi is archaic. Firstly they charge for it and good luck getting a spot in the whole place where it works - that wasn’t the best; it’s 2026. Pool area, albeit tired and in need of tlc, our son loved it and it made up for the apartments. Nice big pools, loads of sunbeds, lovely community vibe, cafe with good prices etc. The actual hotel is at the peek of a hill but it’s not a very long hill and taxis are on every road! We had quite a few great taxi drivers who were lovely and really helpful! What we liked most is how quiet and away from the madness the apartments are, it’s 8-10 euro if you want busy though which is great! Hotel reception could be better. Not overly welcoming or friendly, is what it is. Overall the apartments are cheap so don’t expect any luxury by way of amenities or decor however the complex is rustic and the pool area we loved - we only did 2 pool days and the rest we weren’t even there so that was a win. If you’re looking for a good back drop for your instagram posts, these apartments aren’t the one but, if you’re looking for somewhere clean and in a good location to enjoy the week with your family, go for it! Won’t be back to these apartments but will return to Tenerife! Siam park - fantastic Beach clubs down in Adeje and food with views, amazing and very cheap prices for the big white beds too! Las Americas, very loud and busy and party vibes but if you head towards the beach front there’s some great family places too! Mini golf was fantastic at night!

Great appartments. Spacious with a massive south facing balcony. Clean and tidy. Only downside is no plugs near beds. And WiFi only avaliable while at reception. Bit out the way, however a nice walk at night. With a taxi back. Prices from €7 to €9. On site snack bar is fine pizza and cheses toasty were good. Shop is OK, probably best to get supplies and bring them back to room.

We’re staying here for a week, without notice we had to pay for wifi which should just be included anyway, €20 per device… rooms are dirty ( bathroom smelt, floors were filthy) beds uncomfortable the pillows are awful and there isn’t even any duvets only bedsheets, charger is way away from the beds which is annoying , AC doesn’t even work and the ceiling fan is broken so when it’s on it sounds like it’s going to literally fall, saved some food from the food bar to save for later on . a few hours later opened it to eat and there was ants all inside which is very unhygienic , we’ve had water problems , couldn’t shower for hours just not good at all. Location is nice and quiet and near good locations .

Overall, the stay was fantastic, the room is spacious with good view over the pool and beach. However, the down side is that the old guy in the pool cafeteria is always trying to scam by adding 30, 50 cents to each order, saying that the fries or take away box is extra while it is not, so be careful and check well the price of each item

There is alot of steps and 2 lifts but still expect to walk and get taxis although they're not expensive and the hotel runs a minibus service daily at 10.30 and 11.30 to the Hard Rock Cafe area and then a return pick up at 17.30 back to the hotel.except Sundays. Apartments are basic, spacious and clean the staff are great and very helpful. Reception is 24 hour and will order you a taxi on asking, they speak very good English.
