This is a great place to take your kids. The hotel is kitted out in their favour. The rooms are clean but dated and sparse. Three of us booked a two room apartment and the third bed was the most uncomfortable sofa pull out in existence. The main beds were great. There was only seating for two on the balcony and the Aircon was definitely in need of a service as it only partially worked. The pools were great sized and worked out well for the kids. There was a lack of parasols (25 for over 100 sun loungers I counted!) which ment an early rise to reserve one and sun loungers. The evening entertainment was good but not special and the quiz didn't happen. The staff were great and looked after us really well. They all had a smile and were extremely polite. The food was exactly what you expected and did not disappoint. The quality and variety was spot on considering it was mass catering. The only downside on the whole trip was that the bottom of the pool had several sharp tiles that left the kids toes bleeding. The staff were great at finding plasters and were genuinely upset to see the issue. Overall we loved our holiday and would recommend the hotel to friends and family. (Pool shoes required!)

PLEASE READ....first I want to say reading some of the reviews I very nearly cancelled my girls holiday...I was so worried about what people were saying but we went anyway & we had a blast... Please remember this isnt a 5 star hotel so dont go expecting 5 star... You get a very decent amount for 3 star 🌟 We came for 4 nights 4 girls...our room was pretty small. We were all inclusive & we had room only this was a double bed with a sofa bed made into a double. I would have preferred 2 beds but we managed. The shower spills over the side causing the floor to be wet & it takes literally a day to dry. These are the only things I would change with the hotel (maybe bettet prepared food for snack bar) Anyway, we want to say please DO NOT be worried...the location is great & a 20 min walk to the harbour for boat trips with plenty of bars, restaurants & shops. Breakfast was plentiful & so was lunch & evening meal..everything was fresh & the food temperature was good. There is a huge selection & something for everyone id say ( unless you're extremely fussy) The event staff were amazing 👏 very encouraging & so funny, lovely to chat too & they bring a lovely vibe to the pool area. I read some reviews about how little they did for children, people need to remember you are responsible for your child theie activities are put on for your child to have some extra fun they aren't there to make your child's holiday. As a parent that is your responsibility.. There is a token for your cups of all inclusive which is becoming more & more common i personally dont mind it but wish theyd be a bit bigger. I think the queues would definitely be less. There can be queues at the pool bar but they do go down quickly we never waited more than 10 mins even at its busiest time. Although you can judge when its going down then join. There are plenty of sun loungers...we didnt arrive until 4pm on our first day but we still managed to get one. Its important for me to have my time on a sun lounger so this was perfect. The pools are lovely, the evening entertainment wasn't something we used so cant comment. If you are a light sleeper I dont recommend here...the front of your apartment ( most of them) leads to the main road & between 2am/3am dust bin lorries came & it was noisy. It woke me up every night but another person with us didnt wake at all. I am such a light sleeper so bare this in mind... I would definitely come back again. I absolutely loved it... Carlos in the bar is lovely & friendly & was talking about when he came to England & davide in entertainment was lovely, nicknamed our friend Kelly loser & use the spice girls such a laugh. They definitely deserve recognition for their efforts to keep us entertained. The hotel is clean. Staff are cleaning day & night. The kitchen area is clean..there wasnt anything I thought was bad...

⭐☆☆☆☆ Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing all-inclusive holidays we have experienced. The room was dusty and dirty on arrival, with unpleasant smells coming from the drains and regular cigarette smoke odours. It was also very noisy, making it difficult to relax or sleep properly. The food was extremely poor. Much of it was repetitive, bland, and lacking flavour, with the same limited options appearing day after day. We ended up spending additional money eating outside the hotel because the food quality simply wasn’t good enough. The drinks selection was equally disappointing, with poor-quality cocktails and premium drinks often served in cheap plastic cups. Book the Italian buffet it’s the only decent tasting food, other buffet isn’t up to the same standards The hotel felt overcrowded and understaffed. Long queues for drinks were common, and there were not enough staff available to cope with the number of guests. The adult pool was frequently occupied by children, making it difficult for adults to enjoy a quieter environment. Cleanliness and guest behaviour were major concerns. We saw dead mice near the food hall area for several days, and there were frequent incidents involving arguments, fights, excessive drunkenness, and what appeared to be open drug use around the resort. This created an unpleasant atmosphere and was not what we expected from a relaxing holiday. Additional disappointments included having to pay extra for facilities such as the hot tub, which was not working correctly, a lack of smoke-free areas, no hotel parking, and generally poor entertainment. For the amount of money paid, the overall experience represented very poor value. We would not return and would not recommend this hotel to friends or family. The animation and entertainment staff ( jumbo club and TUI ) at this hotel are absolutely wonderful. They will get you involved in lots of fun and laughter if you participate. They put in so much effort and energy into ensuring you are entertained. The samba dancers and the soul music band were fantastic. The hotel is clean, the rooms sufficient,ask for a kettle at reception, the buffet has a good selection even for vegetarians. The staff are polite and helpful. The sun was out everyday during our stay so we were lucky. To Davide, Peter, Corin, Nicole, Ainara, Charlotte Jorich and Oceanna our Suneo family we have made good friends and good memories. Thanks for making our holiday.

Upon our late arrival on Monday evening, we retired directly to our accommodation. On Tuesday evening, following our return from the on-site entertainment, we discovered a cockroach within the built-in wardrobe. My partner secured the insect in a container, which I then presented to the Reception desk to report the issue and request assistance. The hotel receptionist's response was extremely dismissive, stating that "you go to Africa you would see lions, you come to tenerife you see cockroaches." They eventually agreed to dispatch housekeeping to our room, but no offer of a room change was extended that evening. We awaited the arrival of housekeeping. Upon their entry, I directed them to the bedroom area where the initial insect was found, at which point a second cockroach was observed in the same vicinity. A significant fissure was present between the built-in wardrobe and the wall, appearing to be the source of the insects. As housekeeping approached, the cockroach retreated into this crack. A spray was applied into the crack, and approximately one minute later, the cockroach dropped to the floor. The individual from housekeeping then stomped on the cockroach and subsequently kicked it through our bedroom, into the hallway, and out the front door, leaving it outside our apartment. No subsequent deep cleaning of the bedroom or hallway was performed after this incident. Due to concerns regarding additional cockroaches within the crack and the potential for harmful pathogens and diseases associated with cockroaches, I elected to sleep on the sofa with my two children, as I was distressed by the situation and did not wish for my toddler to be exposed to the area where the dead cockroach had been moved. The following morning, I returned to reception to address my concerns directly with the on-site TUI representative. I conveyed my dissatisfaction with the unhelpful nature of the reception staff and their initial handling of my complaint. The representative indicated she would explore the possibility of a room change, which she successfully arranged promptly. Given that our stay was a brief five-day break, we believe that the stress experienced for one of those days, attributable to the initial handling of our complaint, was unwarranted and could have been mitigated had a room change been offered immediately. Since our return, I have submitted a formal complaint to TUI. Their response, received yesterday, stated their inability to provide further assistance given that a room change was offered the following day. This response, however, completely disregards the distress and upset caused by the initial handling of the complaint and the necessity of sleeping in a potentially infested room. Furthermore, during our stay, a drain cleaning procedure was conducted on one occasion, resulting in a sewage odor permeating a significant portion of the affected area. Consequently, I would not recommend TUI or the TUI SUNEO Tamaimo Tropical. While I previously held a very positive perception of TUI, this experience has significantly deterred me from future travel with them.
