Just returned from a stay at Elba Lanzarote Royal Village and overall, I’ve been impressed. The resort is well laid out, making it easy to navigate and giving it a relaxed, spacious feel. One of the standout features is the pool area – a great mix of saltwater and chlorine pools, which are well maintained and perfect for both relaxing and swimming.
The food options so far have been very good, with a decent variety and quality across the meals. The bars, although not heavily staffed, are surprisingly efficient – drinks are served quickly and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Another plus is the location. It’s just a short 10-minute walk to the beach, which is ideal for a quick dip or an evening stroll.
The only downside worth mentioning is the lack of air conditioning in the eat and drink area, including the showroom where the evening entertainment takes place. It can get quite stuffy, especially during warmer evenings, and having proper ventilation or air con would make a big difference to the comfort level.
Overall, a very enjoyable stay and I’d definitely consider coming back – especially if they sort out the air circulation in the shared indoor areas.

The hotel is fabulous, very spacious, plenty of sun beds. The entertainment staff are all very friendly and enthusiastic as well as the restaurant staff. It’s a lovely complex which has family areas and adult only areas, which are lovely and quiet. We joined in a few of the activities, which was great fun.
The rooms are cleaned every day, fresh towels provided every three days unless you leave your towels on the bathroom floor then they can be changed more frequently.
I have food allergies and the restaurant staff were great, I completed a form with reception and a lovely lady from the kitchen helped me with the food I could eat.
Would like to give a special shout out to Roberto and Danny in the entertainment team, really good at all the activities they do with the guests. Had a great time doing archery, rifle shooting and darts with them.

The rooms are adequate but for a family of 4, 1 room was very small. The maid we’ve had is exceptionally rude and does the bare minimum. If anything is left on the bed she just won’t make it. We’ve been here 8 days and had clean sheets only once. The floor hasn’t been swept or mopped either. It’s really quite dirty and fresh towels have not been replaced a couple of times and we’ve had to ring reception to get them sent down. Room not replenished properly either so no milk or tea bags daily. The fridge’s are not fridges - just coolers(and not very cool), so no good if you have a baby like us that needs cold milk.
2 drinks per person at the bar. My partner queued for 15 mins only to be told we wasn’t able to get a 3rd drink for our family and he would need to queue up again. This was for a non alcoholic drink.
Reception is quite slow although, they are very efficient.
On the plus side, you can usually get a sun bed. The pools are stunning and my daughter loved the activities. The entertainment staff are INCREDIBLE!!! So committed and talented, the restaurant staff are lovely too and the food is always beautiful.
I would say a few easy fixes for this hotel to be fab. A Kids drinks machine for them to help themselves would be a definite bonus (not just water, which is what they have now)
A big improvement in housekeeping is needed. The rooms aren’t foul but when you’re living on top of each other for 2 weeks it helps if the basic cleanliness standards are met.
Overall a good stay but a couple of differences would have made it great!!!.

Entertainment team were absolutely great, all waiters and waitresses and staff were helpful and friendly too! Plenty for kids to do and the pool area is clean and lots of sun loungers. Food was good always a large selection! Area round the pool is very slippery and we have witnessed a few slips and falls by children. I advise anyone with kids to take pool shoes. Room was clean but a few areas had been missed on check in. Not enough to complain about but maybe a deep clean now and then as there was quite a bit of dust around lights etc. No complaints on the everyday cleaning. Room was very spacious for a family of three and a great area outside to use. Loved the washing lines, so useful for wet towels and swim wear. On the whole love it so far.

Just been here for our 1st holiday. Kids loved it, it's great for young families, so much entertainment to do and the entertainment team in the day and performers in the evening work so hard. They make it fun and relaxing. It's a bit chaotic at the main restaurant as it's buffet style and everyone is wandering about looking at what there is. I would say they could do with a bit more signage for the food as it can be a bit of a guess sometimes and I accidentally ate something with meat once when I'm vegetarian which was a bit annoying. There are fresh smoothies at breakfast but the juice doesn't taste like 100% not from concentrate juice. Some areas could do with a bit of maintenance and extra cleaning but I'd say the staff are really helpful and always working hard in the restaurants and the cleaners. Would definitely go back again one day. Very close to a local beach and easy to get a bus to a larger one nearby.
