Had a great week here. It felt like a great place to relax and get some winter sun and I'll definitely consider coming back.
The food, both buffet and restaurant, was really good and had a different theme most days so it felt like there was something new to try each day.
There are plenty of sunbeds around the pool so there were never any issues getting one. The beach is about a 20 minute walk from the hotel as well.
The animation team do a brilliant job of keeping a fun vibe and you can see they enjoy their jobs. There are usually a couple of sporty type activities during the day for adults and a show or event of some sort at 9pm each day for everyone. There is a QR code which gives a link to the calendar of each of the days activities.
The rooms were spacious and had air con in them.
The other sports facilities were in good enough condition. There is an extra charge to use them but not something unreasonable.

Rooms and hotel facilities excellent, some of best I’ve been in over 40yrs.
Entertainment staff - amazing, I can’t praise them enough. Costa was fantastic and all the rest some of the nicest people. We attended the entertainment every evening and the 2 best shows were with the hotels own entertainment staff.
My only criticism, and it is minor, is the service in the buffet restaurant was below everything else the hotel excelled in. Food was often luke warm and tables slow to be cleared & reset.
I selected Elba Lanzarote to celebrate my 60th birthday & retirement with 4 generations of my family. I believe everyone enjoyed themselves and with a minor tweak to the restaurant I would give 5/5

All the animation team were great, the activities were great fun. Mike was brilliant and really great with our son. Our daughter loved Pepeland with Raquel and Dani. Ramon was great, with his wine and cheese tasting was brilliant and really informative! Also loved the mojito class. We went to Cuba on honeymoon and the mojito and music took us back there! 🍹All the team were great. Hotel was lovely and all the waiters, waitresses were so helpful and friendly. Had a great holiday at Elba.

We were there for halloween and i must say it was a blast! The hotel was decorated, the staff all dressed up, even the food was halloweenie! The whole animation team is excellent, they prepared loads of halloween theme activities, (face painting, trick or treeating around the hotel, mini disco and a fantastic themed night show! But the absolute peak was the "horror tunnel" the animation team worked so hard to make us have "a terrific experience". ; special mention to Rachel and Dani in the mini club, who are lovely to the kids and super patien, they offer a huge variety of activities from colouring and crafts to playing hide and seek, football...
Lulu does a brilliant job during the aquagym sessions, accessible for the whole family, her energy is contagious.
Laura is the mini disco's super star! She makes all kids engage and enjoy the dancing, especially the hotels hit, which is always played at the end.
If you have young children, do not hesitate when choosing this hotel. Its perfect fun for them. Thanks so much to the whole animation team for making this holiday an unforgetable stay!

We recently stayed at this hotel as a couple for a last minute relaxed getaway. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend it to other travellers - but probably more families than couples.
The reason for not giving a 5* review is our feeling around the adults only areas of the hotel. Although we did not book the Premium Suites, we did not realise this prohibits two adults from using any of the adults only areas. I have not come across this before and it felt unnecessarily strict. As a result, we were restricted to using the main restaurant, lounge bar and pool area. These areas are great for families with kids, but we were desperate to get away for some peace and quiet, something which was hard to find at times without staying in the garden of our suite.
It is worth noting, for those with young kids, the Animation team is superb. We went along to a few of the evening shows in the theatre, which were very enjoyable for both kids and adults. The food in the all inclusive range is also very decent and is changed for each meal daily. Drinks are also good, with the standard range of all inclusive beverages on offer (including Cruzcampo on tap 👀)
Overall, this is a very pleasant hotel, with great facilities for families, alongside a well equipped spa (although sauna was broken during our stay), gym and tennis courts etc. For those who want a quiet adult only hotel, be prepared to pay quite a bit more for the Premium Suites (identical to Comfort/Junior suites - just behind a keycarded gate), which will give you access to the adults only pool and bar area, plus the upstairs bar/restaurant.
