We’ve been to Baobab 3 times now and it never disappoints. Staff team are great (particularly Dina who really went the extra mile for us) the breakfast is the best and the rooms are so well equipped, exceptionally clean and spacious. We love having our own suite with a pool and all the benefits of a 5* hotel. Lovely places to eat in nearby Caleta too.

Lovely hotel. Our suite was very comfortable with an indoor and outdoor sitting area. There was a very useful desk where one could do some work if needed. We had fresh flowers, fruit and wine as welcome and a very nice goodbye gift. The staff were very professional, smiling, super helpful about anything we needed. All in all a fantastic experience. Congrats.

We stayed at Baobab Suites for 5 nights with our 6-year-old daughter and unfortunately experienced several issues during the first part of our stay.
On our first night the heating in our room did not work, despite being assured at check-in that it would. The room became extremely cold and we had to contact reception late at night. We were informed the heating system needed to be manually activated by maintenance and were provided with a small portable heater, which was not sufficient to warm the room properly.
We also experienced issues with the pool temperature during our stay. As we were travelling with a child, access to a warm pool was something we were particularly looking forward to, however the main pools were very cold.
In addition, one evening the lifts serving our floor stopped working which meant we had to use the stairs to access our room. The situation was handled poorly and was quite unsettling for our daughter when the lift shaft was opened in front of us while it was out of service.
We spent a large portion of the first two days of our holiday trying to resolve these issues rather than enjoying the facilities.
After a lot of backwards and forwards, the Assistant Director did meet with us and offered a complimentary dinner as a goodwill gesture, which we appreciated. However, given the disruption to the start of our holiday, we did not feel this fully reflected the experience we had expected from a 5-star property.
The balcony had gaps either side which was a concern especially with having our 6 year old with us.
Baobab Suites itself is a beautiful hotel with spacious rooms and great views, but unfortunately our experience was impacted by the issues mentioned above.

From the moment we arrived for our honeymoon the staff couldn't do enough for us. Including moving me to an apartment that was more wheelchair accessible the following morning. Both apartments were identical. We received a warm welcome (staff are all fluent in English). The bell boy DAVID, took our luggage up. Check in was seamless, and quick. In the apartment a bottle of champagne, and chocolate covered strawberries, a artisnal chocolate bar, water, an assortment of Teas, and a contemporary coffe machine. All this was refilled daily minus the champagne. The kitchen is "fully loaded" and had everything you could need, pots, pans, cutlery, gadgets (too many to count) even a grill to cook outside, iron, dishwasher and washing machine that we needed it, there were a couple of excellent restaurants in the complex, and even more a short walk away.
Inside the complex real thought has clearly gone into the menus at their restaurants to showcase the best of this islands regional produce, and we noticed a strong emphasise on organic produce. Some of which is even for sale as original souvenirs. The same went for the wines, with vanacular choices on offer.
The assistant manager of Reception Alain, was exceptional. Such a friendly and professional guy. He ĥelped us alot by making recommendations, booking taxis, I skipped breakfast once, he asked his staff to call up to our appartment to ask if I was OK, and if he could send me some food instead if I wasn't feeling well.
We've never rented apartments before, always picked to stay at a 5 star beach front on the island. I will never do that again. We found our happy place and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended.
Our apartment was so cosy, with extra pillows, robes, and slippers. The daily house keeping to clean immaculately, and refill; fresh towels, all consumables in the kitchens and bathrooms. Nestled in a hillside, with a pretty much unobstructed view of the ocean on one side and the rolling hills on the other. It was situated less than a kilometre from the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. We didn't use the pools, the beach was so close. Hope you find this useful.

I honestly enjoyed our stay at baobab suites! The receptionists and all staff are very friendly and helpful especially Dina& Gerardo & David I’d totally recommend this place! Breakfast was also very lovely and the facilities were just overall tidy!
