Good all inclusive resort.
Superior rooms are quite big and sufficient for 3 persons. Of course not perfect but quite close (e.g. phone felt out of the wall, soap suspender did not work, some dirt around the shower)
Several restaurants with different focus are available where you can find enough food amd drinks. Servants are available everywhere to bring your drink order.
Taste and variety of all the meals is quite good and big, I can’t complain here.
Kids animation available from 10-12:30 and 15-16:30
Also Mini Disco in the evening, here the parents were quite often part of the disco.
Shops inside the Ressort are quite expensive (Red Bull 3€, lollipop 4€) so I highly recommend to go outside and cross the street to find cheaper prices.
Room service makes a good job, nothing to complain.
Several pools (not heated in summer) are available and clean. Also a pure adult pool where kids are not allowed is available.
Sea and beach can be reached by foot or via boat shuttle. Enough beach lounger are available for free and also servants to bring your drinks.
At evening, several possibilities to get entertained: Always a show after Mini Disco, live music, Minigolf, Dart, Soccer…

We had an amazing stay at this hotel – everything was excellent from start to finish!
The sea was beautiful, the food was delicious with lots of variety, and the rooms were very comfortable and clean.
A special thank you to Ali, who cleaned our room every day and always made sure our drinks were replaced. His attention to detail and kindness truly made our stay even better.
Also, a big thank you to the boys who served drinks in the restaurants and on the beach – they were all very friendly, quick, and always asked if we needed anything else. Their great service really made us feel welcome and well taken care of.
It was our first time in Egypt, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. We’re already planning to return to the same hotel next year!
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

An Exceptional Beach Resort Experience at Pickalbatros Dana Beach, Hurghada!
Pickalbatros Dana Beach Resort is one of the most beautiful and well-maintained resorts on the Red Sea coast. The private beach is pristine, with soft sand and crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The resort offers a wide range of facilities, including spacious pools, excellent dining options, and comfortable rooms with stunning sea views. The staff are warm, friendly, and always attentive, ensuring every guest feels special. Whether you’re seeking relaxation or adventure, Dana Beach is the perfect destination. Highly recommended for families, couples, and solo travelers alike!

The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with a lovely view. The resort itself is very large, which gives a nice feeling of space. One of the highlights is the ability to move around the resort by boat through a scenic canal or by bicycle – a unique and enjoyable touch. The beach was also stunning, clean, and well maintained.
However, when it comes to food, I was quite disappointed. Despite the presence of five restaurants, the variety was extremely limited. Most places offered the same dishes — mainly rice, pasta, and fries. I expected much more for the price we paid and for a supposed 5-star hotel. Even the desserts were repetitive; the same pastries were served across all restaurants. The so-called “Asian restaurant” was only Asian by name — during my entire stay, I didn’t see a single sushi dish or any truly Asian specialties.
To make things worse, I barely saw any fish served during the entire stay. Seafood was practically nonexistent, except for shrimp that were served twice and in such small, counted portions that it felt ridiculous for a resort of this level, and sole fillet served every day, swordfish served only once
Meal times also seemed oddly short and poorly adapted to summer vacation schedules — closing a restaurant at 9 PM during high season feels unreasonable.
The entertainment program and music clearly target Russian guests, with Russian music dominating almost every event. It sometimes felt like I was in Moscow rather than Egypt. Unfortunately, I also sensed a clear lack of consideration for Arab guests. Some of the staff seemed to openly favor foreign visitors and were dismissive of us — with a few exceptions, whom I truly thank for their kindness and professionalism.
Wi-Fi was another issue: it simply didn’t work in some parts of the hotel. I raised the issue, but no action was taken. Additionally, a few of the water slides seemed old and poorly maintained, even posing a potential safety risk for children.
Also worth mentioning: several guests reported that their children experienced food poisoning during their stay. Luckily, we did not face this issue ourselves, but it’s something that should not be overlooked.
Having stayed in many real 5-star hotels, I would honestly classify Dana Beach Resort as a premium 4-star hotel, not a true 5-star experience.
Finally Dana Beach, in my opinion, is not worth the price for what it delivers.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Pickalbatros Dana Beach Resort, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality that stayed consistent throughout our entire stay.
What truly set this experience apart was the outstanding service. The waitstaff in the restaurants were not only professional and attentive, but also incredibly kind and accommodating. Every meal was a delight, thanks to their care and the excellent work of the kitchen staff. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented
A special thank you goes to Khalid, one of the housekeeping staff, whose friendliness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Our room was always immaculate and comfortable, and his thoughtful service made a big difference in our overall comfort
We are deeply grateful for the wonderful experience and are already looking forward to returning
