Large spacious rooms and beds.
These are cleaned and beds made daily which is lovely. Bathrooms are modern with complimentary toiletries which smell gorgeous!
Staff couldn’t be helpful and friendly and always smiling. The entire hotel and outside areas are cleaned throughout the day and evening. So much choice at buffet style breakfast to cater for everyone. We were only bed and breakfast so can’t comment on other meals.
Lots of lovely restaurants and bars nearby to chose from. The hotel has live music or singer in every night. The pool areas are lovely and clean with changing curtains and showers. The hotel is right on the beach which is swept every morning and also has taps for feet washing and showers with plenty of sunbeds - 2 beds and a brolly for 9 euros a day
Nothing to fault and we have had an amazing stay.

We were in this hotel for 10 days. The room was very clean. The service is very friendly, especially estefania from the pool bar. Also hosé from the big blue team was very friendly, we booked 3 activities from him and he was always very friendly when talking to him. The activities we booked were a buggy trip, a boat tour with jetski and a dolphin watch tour, which were all awesome. Great drinks at the coral poolbar at the hotel which is just 150 meters away from the beach. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel

Lovely hotel ideally located in the fairly small resort of San Augustin about a 15-20min drive from the airport. Backs directly onto a very nice beach, clean with plenty of sun loungers if the hotel pool isn't your thing. It was my first time here, I booked kind of last minute for a week away in late January. Really nice staff, room cleaned every day to a very good standard, decent variety in the restaurant and drinks that weren't outrageously priced. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, the staff were excellent and it's a very chilled atmosphere, I will be coming back here again without doubt. There's also plenty of parking locally and a fair amount of bars and other restaurants within easy walking distance if that's your thing...

For the price, the hotel is slightly disappointing. It definitely looks better on photos.
Advantages: very close to the beach, fairly nice rooms, sea view from most rooms, hotel has nice design (lots of beautiful plants around it). Very close to bus stop and multiple grocery stores
Disadvantages: despite being outside of the town, it’s not very quiet - music from nearby restaurants and noise from the road can be heard, food is so-so. When it’s cold, there’s not much to do (lobby/ bar is very small, room is cold)

We arrived earlier than the official check-in time of 14:00, and of course the room was not ready, which is understandable. However, we were told to go outside and that they would call us once the room was ready. We returned at 14:00, and the receptionist informed us that it might even take until 16:00. Once again, we were told to “go outside and wait” and that they would call us. Instead, I had to sit in the lobby for an hour with my ill partner while they prepared the room. This is simply unacceptable, especially when the hotel charges 10€ per hour for late check-out.
The reception staff are also quite defensive and unhelpful. They often did not answer phone calls, and sometimes even rejected them. It felt like guest satisfaction is clearly not their priority. A more professional and service-oriented attitude would be expected from a hotel in this category.
The room looks like it belongs to an old building with worn-out and outdated equipment. The walls are dirty and clearly need repainting. The bathroom is poorly maintained, and even the toilet seat has yellow stains 😕 (see pictures). Overall, the cleanliness and maintenance standards are far below what you would expect from even an average low-end hotel.
The room is extremely noisy and not soundproof at all. Even with the windows fully closed, street noise makes it very difficult to sleep.
Another unpleasant surprise: the hotel recommends placing valuables in the safe and does not take responsibility in case of a break-in, yet using the safe costs an additional 2€ per day 😐. I have never seen a hotel charge extra for the use of an in-room safe.
Regarding the food: despite some older reviews praising the quality, we found it to be very average — a standard all-you-can-eat buffet without anything special.
You pay for a 4-star hotel but receive the quality of a cheap hostel. A very disappointing start to our stay in beautiful Gran Canaria.
