The overall experience was very good. The hotel looks exactly as shown in the pictures, and the ladies at reception were extremely kind, polite, and helpful every single time.
However, I would like to mention an issue that occurred during our stay. I was traveling with someone who required medication to be kept refrigerated. When we initially spoke to the reception staff, the ladies were very cooperative and understanding of our situation, and they kindly took our cooling gels and placed them in the freezer without any issue.
On Saturday 20/12 in the evening, however, there was a male receptionist on duty. When we asked for the same assistance, he replied, “Isn’t the refrigerator in your room working?” We calmly explained—not once, but twice—that we specifically needed the gels to be ❄️frozen❄️, not just refrigerated. I believe we used the word “freezer” at least three times. He answered “okay, okay,” and we assumed everything would be handled properly.
Unfortunately, upon checking out on Sunday, we discovered that the gels had only been kept in the refrigerator and were not frozen. This was quite disappointing, as we checked out at 12:00 and did not arrive home until midnight. As you can imagine, the medication was not in good shape after more than 12 hours.
For this reason, the 3-star rating applies only to the service provided by the male receptionist. The rest of the team did an excellent job, and we truly appreciate their professionalism and kindness.

What a fantastic find . This hotel is gorgeous and so comfortable. Decorated in the Victorian style is oozes charm and class . The Bedroom was lovely , comfortable beds , spacious with a balcony overlooking the street . The rooftop area has a heated swimming pool and sunbeds with Panoramic views over Valetta and Sliema . Staff were so friendly and helpful . The food was fantastic , healthy , well cooked and presented with plenty of choice . You have a choice of 6 different resteraunts here . My favorite was The Penny Black pub which shows football yet luxurious and comfortable. Facilities are shared with the Palace Hotel next door . There are spa facilities here and we had a relaxing hot stone massage , again from friendly and kind staff. This hotel is undoubtedly one of the best hotels we have ever been to . Great location , fantastic value . We will definitely be back when we return to Malta

Excellent hotel — the staff are very helpful and friendly. It’s very quiet, and everything is clean and well-maintained. The mattresses are extremely comfortable. The hotel is close to everything, so you can easily walk around the entire city. We had breakfast there, and the food selection is suitable for everyone.

We went there for our shift lunch buffet and had an excellent experience. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and we were offered a wide variety of options. Everything was fresh, warm, and very tasty.
The space is beautifully decorated, with a sense of class and sophistication.
If you are looking for a perfect buffet lunch, this is definitely the right place.

Our stay at the hotel was truly exceptional! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. A special thanks to the manager, Rose, for the thoughtful upgrade to Palace Capua, which made our honeymoon absolutely unforgettable. The Palace was stunning, the service outstanding, and the attention to detail second to none. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate our special occasion. Highly recommended!
