We have just spent 8 days in this hotel, we had a very large spacious 2 bed apartment room no 196 which had direct access to the swimming pool.
The pool itself was large and spotlessly clean. All members of staff we came in contact with were very helpful during our stay and those we didn’t such as those that made up our room who did a great job I would however like to mention and thank Carla and Anderson who on the reception. They very pleasant and helpful. Vina at the bar she was always very cheerful and with the a lovely smile.
Would certainly recommend and we will return again.

If you want rest, peace and quiet, this is not the hotel for you. Noisy dogs in the neighbouring houses, the walls and floors are very thin and so you can hear other guests in their rooms and along the corridors.
Breakfast is basic while lunch and dinner are very questionable / inedible if your palete is very seasoned.
Rooms were nice and spacious however they lacked condiments which you would expect with the calibar of hotel its meant to be.
Some staff at the reception were helpful and polite. Serving staff Diogo and Jeremy were professional, attentive and patient. Cleaning staff did not pay attention to detail at all. Rooms were cleaned daily but alot of vital things were missed.
Good pool facilities available and massages offered on site was good.

Cool place to stay, nice pool and in walking distance to nearby beaches. Our room was fabulous.
We didn't like the food to much though
The breakfast was basic and the pizza was bellow average. But there are great restaurants in town.

🌟 Aqualuz Lagos by The Editory – Memorable by True Hospitality
We had a wonderful stay at Aqualuz Lagos by The Editory, and while it started off a little messy, it quickly turned into one of the most pleasant hotel experiences in this holiday we had
When we arrived, the room I had originally booked wasn’t available. But that’s when Carla, one of the staff members, stepped in and truly saved the day. She was exceptionally helpful and immediately offered us an upgrade to a spacious suite with three bedrooms, a bathroom, and a living room. It was perfect for our family in terms of space, but located on the ground floor while we had hoped for a room on the third floor.
I returned to the lobby and waited to speak with Carla again. She listened patiently, apologized sincerely for the mix up, and said, “Give me 30 minutes.” Even though her shift was supposed to end at 16:00, she stayed longer just to sort things out for us. I told her she didn’t need to work past her hours, but she replied, “You are my client and I want to sort it out.” That kind of dedication is rare and truly appreciated.
Parking under the apartment was fully booked, but Carla reassured me there was free parking nearby, just 30 seconds away by car. She was right, it was easy and convenient.
After grabbing a bite to eat, we returned to the hotel and Carla was still there at 16:45. She greeted us with a smile and said, “Your room is ready.” We moved into Room 346, the one we originally reserved, and it was absolutely lovely. The balcony overlooked the swimming pool, and the shade during midday and evening made it a perfect spot to relax.
Breakfast was also very nice, with a good variety and fresh options to start the day.
All in all, our stay was made special not just by the comfortable accommodations, but by the genuine care and professionalism of Carla. She turned a small hiccup into a memorable experience. If you're heading to Lagos, I highly recommend staying at Aqualuz, and if you meet Carla, you're in excellent hands.

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights in September and to describe it in 1 word, I’d say “vintage”. The hotel definitely was a great place I’d guess in the 80s or 90s but it now seems like it’s frozen in time. That does add a bit of a charm and nostalgic factor but at the same time is a little lackluster.
The staff was all very nice at the front. We checked in, but once we got to our room the AC wasn’t working. We told the staff and they sent a technician to go look. He said that it was an internal issue and that they wouldn’t be able to fix it. There was 1 room open and they did offer it. While it had a working AC, my wife and I still preferred our room and since it was on the third floor, the window being open let in a nice breeze.
The two biggest issues of this hotel is:
1. The layout. It’s like a maze trying to navigate anywhere that’s not right near the check in desk. You’ll go up down left right and still have no clue where you are.
2. The restaurant. We didn’t eat much of the free breakfast besides some pastries, and we had lunch upon arrival which was okay, but the dinner is not worth the price. The food is 100% microwaved. I got a steak that was still very very rare on the inside, and my wife got a lasagna that had no beef and could tell that it had just come out of the microwave with how hot the bowl was all around, and with the cheese being melted straight onto the bowl like a microwave does. There’s a lot of different restaurants nearby, so I’d just go eat at one of those instead of the restaurant on property
