This is a beautiful hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious, with cracking views of the pool and sea. Balcony is large.
Staff all lovely. Special mention to Miguel at reception. Always smiling and very accommodating.
Location wise, you’re a 5min (or 100 odd steps down), from all the bars, restaurants etc.
All the shops and market stalls you need, and the beach is maybe 10 mins from the hotel. Close enough to enjoy, and far enough away to get a peaceful sleep at night.
The hotel doesn’t take stag or hen parties (which is a bonus), however there was the odd “group” of teenagers at the pool, but were quiet enough.
There is a wee shop outside the hotel front doors, (for essentials )and Lidl and Aldi are maybe a 10 minute walk away, for a much bigger variety.
We would definitely stay here again! And are pretty sad to be leaving today.

Stayed 7 nights from 7th to 14th July. Can’t find anything negative to say other than we wished the main bed was one bed instead of two singles pushed together but, hey, that’s hotels for you.
Location is great, 10 mins walk from the beach and old town though it is on a hill so be prepared for climbing steps. There is a shuttle to the old town of walking is not your thing.
Buffet breakfast was good, enjoyed it every day.
Staff were welcoming and great. Special mention for Joao who helped with our cases upon arrival, and Edison who warmly welcomed us to breakfast every day. Cheers guys.

This is a really nice quality hotel. It is based up hill from the old town so if you or a family member have mobility issues or a disability its worthwhile remembering this however if you are on the upper floors 3rd or above you will have some lovely sea views. Bar snack food is delicious during the day. Breakfast is varied and plenty of it.The Hotel run a free shuttle bus into town, details at reception, the staff are friendly and approachable and I would recommend a stay here.You do need to be up early to bag a sun bed if that's your thing. The BBQ on a Wednesday Night is a must. All you can eat food with local drinks ( wine and soft drinks) included. Thank you to all the staff. A special shout out to Paulo Junior and Ayrton who seemed always to be at work doing long hours and couldn't do enough for their customers with a smile on their face. Obrigado.

Staff on reception absolutely top notch when we arrived late and exhausted! Apartments are an excellent size, fantastic balcony and lovely surroundings. Only gripe is unsupervised and noisy children in the indoor pool and spa area, it’s dangerous when they are running around without adult supervision, I’d highly recommend adult only times for swimming in the indoor pool area and a strict rule of all children must be supervised at all times that is enforced.

Great aparthotel situited just above the old town square which can be reached via a set of steps. The hotel facilities include a spa, indoor pool, gym, sauna & steam room. The hotel has a great bar and restaurant and the communal areas a spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and informative. Would recommend this hotel/apartments to families and those looking to be not far from the old town nightlife. The hotel is situated on a hill and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues, however taxis are cheap and the hotel provides a courtesy shuttle bus.
