Sat by the pool writing this review. Cannot fault this hotel. Yes it’s a little dated but as soon as we arrived the reception and staff have been superb. The receptionist with the red hair is fantastic and my 8 year old loves her. The pool is brilliant nice and large and with different depths for all ages and abilities. Lovely chilled music throughout the day round the pool. No need to get up at stupid o’clock to reserve beds in the height of season. Can stroll down and easy get a group of 4 or 5 loungers at any time of the day. Location is perfect 5 mins either way to the old town or the strip in the opposite direction. The rooms are huge and yes dated but clean and no noise on an evening. Peroni and super bock on draught. Shop on site and no issues as per previous reviews. Spot on in my view.

I stayed at Paraíso de Albufeira during my recent trip. The room was clean and comfortable, and the reception staff were very nice and welcoming throughout my stay.
However, there were some issues that affected my overall experience. I cut my foot in the jacuzzi because part of the metal was loose, which was concerning from a safety point of view. Also, access to the swimming pool requires booking in advance, which was not clearly explained beforehand.
Many of the hotel facilities require additional payment. There is a small star next to some of the rules, but it’s not very clear what this means until you arrive, which can be confusing.
The restaurant staff were not very helpful, and the service there did not feel as welcoming as the reception team. On a positive note, the supermarket inside the hotel is very convenient and has good prices, similar to shops outside.
Overall, the hotel has some good points, especially the cleanliness and friendly reception staff, but there are areas that need improvement, particularly safety, communication about extra charges, and customer service in the restaurant.

To keep this short, believe me when I say I could write an essay about everything that is wrong with this hotel.
In summary:
This is definitely not a 4-star hotel—more like 2 or 3 stars. It looks nothing like the photos, is very outdated, and the room was not what I believed I had booked. There was no point complaining because the staff simply ignored any issues raised and blamed Loveholidays for putting wrong pictures.
This is not a family-friendly hotel. It was mostly filled with young adults partying until the early hours every night. The walls are paper-thin, so it felt like they were partying in our room. My children and I couldn't sleep, and I had to call reception every single night, but pointless as every night was the same.
The indoor pool felt unsafe—you could actually feel the floor moving under your feet, and it looked dirty all the time.
There was very little entertainment or animation, although fortunately my children weren't too bothered by this.
The food and drink prices around the pool were ridiculously expensive. You would think you were eating in a fine dining restaurant rather than buying simple snacks.
Overall, this hotel was a huge disappointment, and I would not recommend it, especially to families looking for a relaxing holiday.

Excellent Stay at Paradise Hotel, Albufeira
We had a fantastic stay at Paradise Hotel in Albufeira and will happily return. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and always willing to help with any questions or requests.
The apartment was spacious, modern, and exceptionally clean. It was well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a fully functional kitchenette, comfortable beds, and a lovely balcony. Housekeeping maintained a very high standard throughout our visit.
The facilities were excellent. The pool area was beautifully maintained, with plenty of sun loungers and a relaxed atmosphere. The hotel grounds were spotless, and there was a real sense that the team takes pride in keeping everything in top condition.
Location-wise, the hotel is outstanding and offers a great balance. It is right in the centre of Albufeira, close to beaches, restaurants, and shops, while still being far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet in the evenings. Taxis and ride-share services were easy to arrange, and many attractions were within walking distance.
One of the highlights was the overall atmosphere. The hotel felt safe, family-friendly, and welcoming to guests of all ages. Whether you're travelling as a couple, with friends, or as a family, it provides a comfortable and enjoyable base for exploring the Algarve.
Overall, Paradise Hotel exceeded our expectations. Excellent accommodation, friendly staff, great facilities, and outstanding value for money. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning in the future.

Sit tight this is going to be a long one.
We arrived on Tuesday afternoon not knowing if we are at the right place (couldn't see the name of the hotel) but the lady with orange hairs were very nice and polite. Explain everything and make us feel welcomed.
There are 6 lifts available but bare in mind they have 800 rooms (I think). Our room was on the 5th floor and the view was amazing. We only have breakfast and it was bit boring, typical English breakfast products every day. Breakfast is served only until 10 so you need to wake up early everyday if you want to have one. They have an amazing pool outside (cold) and heated one inside. Entertainment was very funny and thoughtful. My kids enjoyed every evening of the show. Our holidays very amazing and if I can only have one negative suggestion I will mention the rooms - they are outdated, needs new furniture for sure. Apart from that whole experience was awesome.
Will definitely come back!!!
