Loved it!! All the staff were so lovely and attentive, especially the 2 main female receptionists. Our room was great, plenty of room and it had a really nice bathroom. Being able to control the room temperature was nice.
Enjoyed the cocktails and live music at the hotel bar and took advantage of their sustainability offer (if you dont get fresh towels and a room clean each day you can get money off at the bar). The breakfast was great and they changed it up a little bit each day.
Also highly recommend the steak dinner for 2 meal.
My only small complaint is that the bed was 2 beds pushed together which often moved apart a bit.

The food is fantastic! The staff are very polite.
The room we are in is very cosy and very clean. The view is stunning. The pool is a good size and there is easy access down to the beach. The hotel overall is very wonderful I recommend anyone to stay here.

As a couple, we really enjoyed our experience from start to finish. From the moment we entered reception, we were greeted with friendly service and this standard did not change throughout our 5 night stay. Our room was excellent, very spacious, clean and modern. The lighting was perfect with plenty of settings to have your room lit to your preference. We are frequent travellers, and we appreciate the little details. For example, the air con was quick and virtually silent which is not always the case. We had a mini coffee machine in our room with very good quality coffee pods which were replenished regularly. The furnishings were spotless and the bathroom had zero signs of wear. Our balcony gave us a beautiful panoramic view of the sea and surroundings and caught the sun perfectly. The design of the hotel generally was fantastic, and the amazing spiral staircase leading to a foyer/lobby with a grand piano and bar was very impressive. The breakfast and dinner area sit across from an outdoor pool and relaxation area, there is outside seating which again catches the sun perfectly. We were out a lot and so unfortunately didn't have time to sample the dinner menu. Lastly, the hotel is around an 8 minute walk to a lovely beach which also has a restaurant and bar. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly.

My husband and I have just returned from our 6th holiday staying in Aqua Pedra Dos Bicos and as always it was fabulous!
From we walked into reception- it is immaculately clean - but it is the staff that absolutely make this place the best.
The reception staff are so friendly and helpful - especially Liliana the manager who always goes above and beyond to ensure we have everything we could possibly need.
The rooms are beautiful, each one with a lovely balcony. Beds are extremely comfortable.
There’s so much choice at breakfast from cheese, meats, breads, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, cooked breakfast, and pastries , fruit juices and I even had Buck’s Fizz some mornings when I choose. Food is constantly checked and fresh food put out even when busy - so you never miss out on anything.
We always book the buffet at night as we love the variety of food, desserts and fruit but most of all we love the staff and have built a rapport with a lot of them over our stays here. They are so friendly, knowledgeable about the wines of the region and are very kind when we try to say a few words in Portuguese.
The walk through the garden and short walk down to the the steps to the beach ( about 100 steps ) is beautiful and there is a lovely Beach Caffe down there for food and drinks overlooking the sea.
We walk regularly to the Old Town and back which is quite hilly but takes 25 minutes approximately and definitely helps keep us fit after eating so much delicious food.
We find the area perfect as it’s close enough to everything we need but also far enough away to have the peace and quiet we like.
An exceptional hotel in our opinion and we will definitely return soon.

Very nice suite with great view. Nice stroll to the beach. Good breakfast with nice coffee.
Overall experience disappointing. Very limited choice for evening meal on set menu. Children in dining room so not Adult Only as advertised on some websites. Lounge area lacks atmosphere.
