It really is home from home. I’ve been staying here year after year for around seven years now, and it’s just perfect. It’s worth noting that I stay in the superior apartment, which is definitely worth the upgrade. The super high ceilings make it feel much bigger, and the air conditioning is excellent and works super fast. The room itself is a great size and has everything you need for a two week stay, with excellent cooking facilities and an even better, huge bathroom.
The location is spot on, right in the heart of Mogan, about a ten minute walk to the beach, with lots of local restaurants nearby and one on site. It’s also close to a supermarket and the bus station, making it incredibly easy and cheap to travel all over Gran Canaria.
The pools are lovely, not too warm and not too cold, and the bar and entertainment are great. The housekeeping team are always lovely, and every single member of staff we walk past says hello no matter who they are, which really adds to the welcoming atmosphere. The bar staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming, and there are pool tables available all day and all night. While I don’t have kids, the children’s play area always seems busy, which is a good sign.
I honestly just love it here and keep coming back for a reason.

The staff and service overall was great, SPA zone - simple, but well maintained and not crowded, so great value. Location is good, quite a walk down to the harbor area, but you can make it even with kids easily.
Other than that - run down rooms and common use premises. Poor soundproofing, glass door to the toilet with no soundproofing at all, water leaking out while taking a shower, no ventilation in the toilet. Quite expensive bars. Services for kids are basic - if your kids are not spoiled, that will work. Need to give a credit to the animation staff, they are positive and doing their best on a lowest possible budget for animation.
The only reason to stay here is Puerto Mogan old city. Taking it in account- good value for money, however much more expensive compared to similar resorts in Gran Canaria.

Family holiday in October, travelled with EasyJet holidays which was good value itself. The complex here is very nice, good location just 5 minutes from the beach and marina. The staff here are great from reception staff to bar and restaurant staff, even the cleaners and maintenance all friendly, helpful and professional-look after them. Restaurant food is good variety, especially fish on the grill. 3 pols, we used the North pool which is apprx 25 metres, you can have a good swim early or late when its empty. Some people have said the Rooms are dated-they are clear and well kept. All in all good place to stay in a beautiful part of Gran Canaria. Mogan is probably the nicest place I have stayed in the Canaries. Thank you Cordial and all your staff.

We stayed in a superior apartment, 609, which was overlooking one of the pools, and very quiet. Furnished good quality, beds lovely, fully equipped kitchen so cooking no problem. Huge balcony. There’s a SuperDino just a short walk, everything you need is there. Complex is large, with numerous lifts to varying floors , can be confusing, but you settle in quickly. Staff very helpful and most spoke English. Busy with many families, but if you like it quiet there were plenty of senior couples to chat to . We didn’t visit the dining room or bar, but they seemed busy. The town of Puerto de Mogán is beautiful, just a ten minute walk away, with a small harbour and beach, plenty of shops, restaurants. Not much by way of entertainment at night, so walking about is what most do. Sitting at a wine bar by the harbour was a regular pastime for many. No flashy cars or hen parties, go elsewhere if that’s your thing. We have done most of the Canaries down the years, but we can’t wait to go back here, and the Cordial is where we will be staying.

We have been here many time (10+) and have always had a good stay, we have previously had room 730 which does need some refurbishing, however this time we have had 442 which has been done recently and is nice and renewed. They are making there way through the rooms. We love the splash pool as it’s ideal for kids. The restaurant is basic but prefect for buffet style food and good value for money, there has always been something for us to eat. Mogan is nice and quiet and we love the location. The staff are always great and friendly and always make a fuss of the kids which is nice. Join the cordial club for free and you get 10% off anything you buy in the hotel, you get 1 night a week free and you can choose your room if you book directly with them
