What a beautiful stay we had, from start to finish! We arrived earlier than check in time at 11am. Check in was at 2pm we were advised. I travelled with my partner and 2 daughters age 4 and 6 and we had a VERY early wake up to get there so we were extremely exhausted! We were told we could sit and wait by the pool and use facilities, we put our luggage in a secure locked room and sat by the pool bar having a drink and ice cream. By 12.30pm my younger daughter started getting tired and bored, I asked if any rooms were cleaned yet? The staff were excellent, they said they would have one by 1pm for us and they did!
The room was basic, but clean, had a large open plan kitchen / diner / living room space then a updated bathroom and one bedroom. The beds were soooo comfy, I struggle with uncomfortable beds and I slept really well at Aguamar apartments. They had no air conditioning, I was MORE than happy with the ceiling fan in the bedroom and living room it circulated colder air well and kept us cool in the steady 24-27 Celsius heat! The pool, was lovely. The kids pool lovely too. Just a shame you dont open the central gazebo area in the pool area. The sunbeds you can get easily but the mats cost €3 a day. They have mini golf rent at reception €3 a person. That's good fun.... the kids had a small soft play area near the crazy miniature golf and table tennis area. They also had a park which the kids LOVED. They loved the pool more though 😍 the cleaning was OK, cleaner come changed towels eveey other day, made up the room too and took any rubbish. You can easily cook yourself there but we went half board and the food was lovely! Tuesday was an Italian night, Thursday was Oriental, I actually really enjoyed the food but ONE complaint is no free drinks at dinner but free juices and hot drinks at breakfast.
Breakfast there is plenty for everyone and its tasty too.
There lemon ice cream is LOVELY!
We had an absolute amazing stay at Aguamar apartments and you get 5 star from us! We will be back. Thank you for your kind hospitality.
Close to los cristianos centre.
Free parking at apartments.
Used free WiFi in pool area and didnt get in our room as didnt use it in our room!
The jet2 staff were in 3 days that week
Cleaners 5 days of 7.
It was clearly a family oriented hotel apartments, I am glad I picked this place for myself and family
.. to top it off the massage lady fitted me in last minute on my last day and was absolutely BRILLIANT.... so get that massage, enjoy the holiday!

Ignore the expensive nightly rate advertised.
We stayed (Feb '26) as part of a package holiday and found Aguamar to be fair value for money. Check-in was good, via friendly and knowledgeable front desk. Our room was ok, a bit tired looking in places but everything worked. However, the pull out sofa bed was uncomfortable, it desperately needed a mattress "topper." No aircon!! Just a ceiling fan. Not a prob in Feb but July? Portable aircon units can be hired locally but check with reception. Pool area spotless, cleaned every morning but be aware flooring is VERY slippery. Sun loungers free but 3 euro a day for mattresses. Free WiFi only around reception and pool bar otherwise paid for WiFi is relatively expensive. Aguamar isn't isolated, there's plenty of supermarkets close by for those self catering and some excellent places to eat out nearby. On balance, I'd be more happy to go back to Aguamar. I think it's honest and good value, just be aware of "extras."

This hotel has to be my worst ive stayed at and wouldn't return. The lifeguard needs to learn some manners and actually watch what is going on in the pool. the hotel seems to only have one Iron so when you take it they are ringing for it back twenty minutes later and then lecture you everytime you drop it back off. No aircon so the rooms get VERY HOT. cleaners do a great job cleaning the rooms. its a race for sun loungers and they dont get put out until 10:00am and recovered by 5:30pm and chained back up again. Also you are charged for wifi in your room unless you can get a chair round the bar and then its free.

Just returned from a 10 day stay here, 5 of us in 2 rooms.
It is a 3star, basic, very clean but so disappointing that they have the audacity to charge €100 for 5 people to access the WiFi for the period we stayed (free WiFi available in a small dedicated room only)
Sunloungers are a fight and you need to be down by 915am for your required sun position for them being placed out at 10am. Weekends limited staff so only 2 staff members placing the beds out which are chained in a stack so you can't help yourself, they charge for a lounger mattress also.
Come 4pm the staff begin to stack the beds back into a pile, they literally throw them on top of each other and it.makes such a loud bang and often made me jump when I was laid relaxing or snoozing in the afternoon, this needs addressing and really isn't acceptable.
The lifeguard sits in a cabin at the back of the pool area, and physically can not see 70% of the pool and it feels is there for a call for assistance rather then looking for danger, one family had music blaring all day and this was not stopped and allowed.
1 member of reception staff on is not adequate during busy arrival times.
Breakfast is Ok, nothing special and very basic with horrible tomatoe ketchup.
My biggest complaint which ruined the whole holiday which is out of the hotels Control is the public recycling bins and bottle banks out the front of the hotel, as our bedroom faced this side of the hotel it was constant noise all through the night and the bin men would empty the banks around 1am-3am which creates a large amount of noise and woke me every night, as there is no aircon in the rooms it was too hot to have the windows closed so had no option, in the height of the summer I would hate to think how hot the rooms get, we stayed in April.
Pleanty of nice food places and bars to eat in, this part is quite run down compared to Costa Adeje

Rooms were a bit tired, but generally ok. Although I didn't see the need for the bath, when other than letting the shower fill the bath.....!!, there was no to run a bath!
Cleaners only worked 5 days a week and whilst the beds were made up / changed on those days, the rest of apartment was only superficially cleaned (kitchen work surfaces, crockery and utensils weren't cleaned (to be fair, the cleaners usually came late afternoon, by which time, we cleaned up anyway!). Our co-traveller was often left without enough 'bathroom linen'!
WiFi was only free in the pool area, but wasn't great. You had to 'pay' for WiFi in the rooms (not good in this day and age!)
Pool area was kept clean and mostly well managed (there was still 'towel bagging'), although having to pay €3 per day for a sun lounger 'mattress' was daylight robbery (Tip, if you're there for a week or more, seek out the nearby 'Chinese' supermarket and buy your own for €15 - €25 depending on quality!).
Would we go again...? Yes, but only if we couldn't find somewhere nearby in the same area!
