Ramadan, the chef at the Caesar restaurant, cooks simply incredibly delicious food. His pizza is a masterpiece. A very pleasant person, a master of his craft. The hotel itself is well located, a beautiful pool with sea views, the entire territory is well-groomed, delicious food in general, there is plenty to choose from. The staff who clean the rooms are very friendly, wonderful people who are nice to talk to, and they always pleasantly surprised us with their works of art made from towels. Nice hotel not 5 star tbh but good enough
enough. Food decent. Pool area lovely drinks good too. Be prepared to be hassled every 2mins and tried to be scammed every taxi we went into. My advice use UBER thats way you pay the cheapest price ALWAYS. never accept first price in shops always haggle to what you wana pay and if your happy then pay and if not walk away theres always some other shop to haggle in. All in all decent enough holiday if you dont have high expectations.

I had an absolutely fantastic time at this hotel, I usually don’t book all inclusive hotels because I like to explore and usually don’t spend much time in the hotel. But this time I just wanted to lay back and relax and the AMC Royal was the perfect place to do this. With great staff, great service and amazing amenities!! If you want a great place to lay back and relax in Hurghada then this is the place to go. Special thanks to Ahmed A.El Hakeem and Ahmed said for making the stay extra memorable.

It was a great great experience to stay at this hotel! Staff is friendly and helpful, food at the restaurant is different every day, there is lots of choice and quality is also really good! Way better than in all inclusive hotels I have experience in my life and I travel a lot. Same goes to coctails from bar. It’s also located in a peaceful area and there is many activities available to do both in hotel and in Hurghada 😎

Booked a package through travel odeal, Nile cruise and hotel stay, so didnt book the AMC Royal but unfortunately ended up there. AMC Royal is an all inclusive hotel, however this is for the 3 main meals and drinks. We had lunch and dinner on our 1st day and then decided that the offering of food was not of good standard and quality, the dinning room which is on the basement level was like a canteen with all guests having to eat at the time given. We went to the marina instead, which is about a 25 min taxi ride away. Taxi station at the fron doors of the hotel. First time we went was quoted 1100 Egyptian pounds - round trip. However having spoken to people we had met on the cruise they paid 500 ... which we did. Taxi service is great they drop you of in front of the marina and given a card, on your return one of the guys calls the taxi to pick you up. Also there is a restaurant next door, you have to walk to the pier where there's a surcuity guard and he let's you out a side gate the restaurant is 2 min walk from there. Great food and great service plus very very cheap. Back to the hotel, tired and dated however the staff were all friendly and always willing to help. As this is a one time trip to Egypt to see the sights I will not be returning to the AMC Royal, and would advise anyone to really think before booking or if in a package try and move hotels with the travel company that has booked you in. Couple of other points - people on beach selling excursions, asking you at least 3 times aday. we booked 2 boat trips with get your guide cheaper and never a problem with them, pick up from outside hotel. Rooms all even numbers have pool / sea views, odd numbers dont. Was told when checking in great room, sea veiw (odd number) - no sea view and looked on to the side of the hotel, went back to reception and was told move tomorrow. Went back next day and changed (even number). Shops within hotel - avoid the pharmacy, very very expensive, ripping holiday makers off. If tou go and need anything use the pharmacy at the marina, as the prices should be cheap.
