I recently stayed at this hotel with my partner, who had stayed here last year with our daughter and thought I would also like it - I wasn't disappointed. On arrival the staff were extremely welcoming and informative. We had a lovely, well -equipped room which was very quiet at night time and overlooked the pool area. The shower was great, and we requested extra hangers for our wardrobe which were delivered quickly. My partner found the bed a bit hard and requested a different grade of pillow which she found helpful. We set our morning alarm via the hotel station on the room tv set
Food was excellent. A great choice at breakfast and table staff were always very attentive . We also dined in the evening, and again there was plenty to choose from. It was possible to be served at the table, but we always chose from the buffet - you could self serve, but even at the buffet you could wait for your choice to be cooked for you and plated up ( the sauteed prawns were particularly good ) I enjoyed the 'maritime' evening
There was a circular bar downstairs with an extensive seating area around it, and about 20 or so seats up at the bar. The bar and waiting staff were very friendly, and great at their job - we tried a few cocktails , which were always expertly crafted. There was generally some music in the evening - a few 'cover version' bands and dancing. We didn't try the a la carte restaurant so can't comment on them
The pool area was very relaxing and well designed - there were always sun beds available , towels could be changed when required, pool temperature was great, and staff were always at hand to take drink orders if required, and rubbish bins were regularly emptied. There was a lunchtime restaurant area, a juice bar, and a cafe for ice creams.
Wi-fi generally worked well. The small putting green was fun
Outside of the hotel there were shopping centres within easy reach and plenty of restaurants to choose from for those who weren't half board. Pleasant walking along the front. particularly if one turned right , where it was possible to walk along the beach path and then cut back inland for a quicker return.
Overall a lovely, well-run hotel with great staff - there always appeared to be somebody on hand if required and I'd be very happy to return

Jardines de Nivaria pleasantly surprised us in nearly every way. We were luckier than expected with a part-sea view from our room, enough to remind you you’re by the ocean, even though it wasn’t a full panoramic vista.
Breakfast was a highlight: the buffet was plentiful, fresh, and delicious, with plenty of variety and the sort of quality that sets a positive tone for the day. The staff were extremely accommodating throughout - helpful, attentive, and always polite. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning: it blends modern comforts with classic touches you might expect of upscale American-style hotels, but with Canarian warmth, lush gardens, art deco influences, and beautiful architectural details (including a striking stained-glass dome over the reception).
Location is excellent: just 15 minutes from the airport, direct access to Playa de Fañabé, and well-placed for exploring Costa Adeje.
One personal recommendation: if you want something more authentic and less packed with tourists, Playa del Duque is a better pick than Playa de Fañabé. You’ll get a more relaxed atmosphere, fewer crowds, and still beautiful beaches (and less Full English Breakfast/Indian/Chinese takeaway food restaurants for the British crowds)
The pool is fantastic and coming during low season was perfect as it wasn’t too crowded and waiting staff were frequently popping over.
Overall verdict: Jardines de Nivaria offers a luxurious, relaxing stay - great for couples or travellers looking for comfort, quality breakfasts, attractive surroundings, and excellent service. It delivers strong value, especially if you pick your room and dining options with care.

For the price charged, the service is far from satisfactory.
The cleaning in the G section was extremely basic: under the bed it was clearly never done, and there were stains in the bathroom… done quickly and poorly. The pool service is below average, with no help offered for towels or parasols, even when an elderly person clearly needed assistance. The buffet is very basic — steak, fries, pasta, crème caramel — and the quality is mediocre. The dining room is depressingly gloomy, even on New Year’s Eve. Reception is borderline rude; you feel like you’re bothering them, except when it’s time to pay the bill.
Very disappointed by this lack of service compared to four years ago. The quality has really gone down

My girlfriend and I stayed at this fantastic resort. The weather was great, and we enjoyed all the amenities, both the spa and the pools. The staff was always very kind and helpful, especially the rescuer Giorgio and Tatiana, who were at the kiosk in the afternoon to change towels. Giorgio spoke perfect English and already recommended tons of restaurants, attractions, and places to visit. We're happy, we recommend this resort, and we'll be back soon. Best regards.

A wonderful holiday in a superb hotel; I can't fault it. The decor is stunning, the staff friendly and helpful, the food delicious and the little touches like a bottle of fresh water in the room every day make it a delightful place to stay. It is lovely and spacious and kept immaculately clean. The heated swimming pool is fantastic and having unlimited clean towels makes it very comfortable. It is also very good that there is a policy of not saving sunbeds and there are plenty to go round.
