Room was fine, clean and well maintained. Our cleaner was very efficient and friendly. Food was excellent and generally varied in the restaurant. Food in the pool area was limited and cold, wouldn't want to rely on this food! The biggest downside for me, and probably why I wouldn't return is the lack of a proper bar. There are two bars, one is the pool-bar and is well stocked, however the entertainment is carried-out here, so not great if you're not a fan of this, or if it's cold or raining. The other bar is indoors, but is located in the reception lobby, and poorly stocked, and very limited seating. Why have a bar where the majority of people are wheeling around suitcases?

Lovely rooms with excellent, friendly cleaners.
Generally the staff are nice but in the bar they can be a bit standoffish.
Location ok but a bit out on a limb and lots of steps to the beach (154)!!
Food has been lovely in the restaurant with a good choice at all mealtimes. The pool bar food is dreadful, cold, dried up and a poor token.
Good selection of drinks however the wine tastes like paint stripper and the cocktails are so sweet you'll get diabetes after one!!

The beds were lovely and comfy and everywhere was beautifully clean. The food was tasty and we had a different choice every day.
The shuffleboard was great fun!
The swimming pools were beautiful, especially at night, but the deep pool was freezing!
The middle sized one was fine, but the weather became very windy at the end of our holiday, (in February), and we were glad that we'd packed our wetsuits!
Would love to come back and stay here again!

Had a fab week away. Rooms were great for myself and 2 children. (Room split. So older could be seperate and I was with younger one)
Hotel location is great. Fab views and beach is easy walk down.
Only reason not 5 stars is because the pool with the flume is so cold the kids didn't want to go on the flume. (Even with wetsuits!) Thankfully the other pool is slightly warmer.
Would recommend to others !

Our stay at Abora Interclub Atlantic was our very first holiday as a family of four — and our first time travelling with two small children (2 and 4) — and it honestly could not have gone better.
The transfer was perfect, only about 25 minutes, and being the second drop-off meant we arrived quickly with no long waits. Check-in was seamless too — we were the only family there, so we were in our room within minutes. There had been a small mix-up with the booking, but staff sorted it instantly and couldn’t have been more helpful.
When we opened the door to our room, we were absolutely gobsmacked by the size. We had a double room with a sofa bed, and they had already thought of everything for the kids — a travel cot was set up for our two-year-old without us even requesting it, the sofa bed was made into a single for our four-year-old, and the twin beds were pushed together for us. As parents, that level of thoughtfulness makes such a difference after a long journey.
The hotel is incredibly family-friendly. There are microwaves, hot water, and even hot milk available 24/7 for bottles, which made life so much easier. The pool snack bar was amazing — not the usual repetitive options, but different food coming out throughout the day (pastries, chips, burgers, pizza, nuggets, salads), which kept the kids happy while we waited for dinner. Soft-serve ice cream by the pool was also a daily highlight! A special mention has to go to Francisco at the pool bar, who was always friendly, welcoming, and brilliant with the children.
The pools and splash park were a massive hit. Yes, some pools are cooler than others, but on hot days it was actually refreshing. The splash park and kids’ areas are fantastic, and the shaded Kids’ Club play area was perfect during the hottest part of the day.
The entertainment team truly made the holiday special. Allison, Jessica, Anna, Ashley, Luca, Lucas, Ewan and Yousef — you were all phenomenal. Your energy, kindness, and enthusiasm made our little boy’s day every single day, and you created such a warm, happy atmosphere for families. You can tell you genuinely love what you do. The level of stamina you guys have deserves so much credit because not once did you even seem tired and you worked non stop!
We also loved that despite what some reviews say, there is plenty nearby. A short walk down the road leads to shops, restaurants, bars, and the beach. We managed it easily even carrying tired children, so it’s definitely doable for families.
What stood out most was how easy the whole holiday felt. Travelling with young kids can be stressful, but here everything is set up to support families — from the facilities to the staff to the atmosphere. Hiring a cabana by the pool was also a great tip if you want a guaranteed base for the day without the early morning rush for sunbeds.
Overall, this was the perfect place for our first holiday as a family of four. We made the most amazing memories and wouldn’t hesitate to return...if only we could get booked because it's always full!!!!!!!
