This is a lovely hotel. Very well maintained and clean. The bar staff are very friendly. We booked a 1 bedroom apartment and ended up with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which was a pleasant surprise. The only minor downsides are that it is slightly out of the way, about a 15/20 min walk from the front, and the showers take quite a bit of time to warm up. But overall a lovely hotel, and taxis are only about €3.50 each way with a taxi rank right outside the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

We visited Lanzarote for a weekend on a super spontaneous trip. We booked the flights just hours before departure and then started looking for a place to stay.
Jardines del Sol came up as one of the cheapest "hotels" at the time, so we booked a couple of nights on our way there.
We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The house was very spacious with well equipped kitchen and felt like overkill for just the two of us. The area was quiet and clean.
There was plenty of parking available, with bus and taxi stands right outside. The staff were super friendly and even helped negotiate with our taxi driver due to the language barrier.
We spent our evenings at the restaurant near the pool, enjoying good drinks and the entertainment. The food was really good too!

If you’ve ever wondered what £1,600 a week buys you in Lanzarote, allow me to introduce you to Jardines del Sol — where expectations go to die quietly in the wind.
Let’s start with the highlight… actually no, let’s start with the wind, because you physically cannot ignore it. This place seems strategically positioned in a wind tunnel where gusts come flying over the volcano like they’ve got a personal vendetta. The windows rattle, the doors shake, and you half expect the roof to file a complaint and leave.
The “heated” pool is a bold claim. Technically, yes — if your definition of heated is “slightly less cold than the North Atlantic in January.” Watching kids dip a toe in and immediately retreat like they’ve been electrocuted is about as much use as it gets.
The villas? Fine. Beds are comfy, shower is good. That’s it. That’s the list. Everything else is just… there.
Now, before arriving, I did notice this place has a lot of positive reviews. And look — I’m not saying those reviewers aren’t well travelled or haven’t stayed in amazing places… but I’d absolutely love to see the benchmark they’re working from, because this doesn’t come close to what most people would expect at this price point.
Now let’s talk about location within the resort — because this is where things get spicy. There are a number of apartments right next to the restaurant where they host “live music.” And guess who got one? Lucky me.
Live music is a generous description. Think less “entertainment” and more “end-of-the-night karaoke at your local after everyone’s had 12 pints.” Loud. Very loud. Impressively loud, considering the quality. It’s the kind of noise that doesn’t just fill the room — it moves in, unpacks, and refuses to leave.
Now, the crazy golf. I’m not entirely convinced it’s been touched since the mid-90s. It looks like it’s survived multiple natural disasters and possibly a small war. And yet, unbelievably, reception will happily hand you clubs to go and play it. That’s not customer service — that’s setting people up for disappointment.
Food options? Hope you like paying airport prices without the airport. The on-site restaurant knows full well you’re stranded, and prices reflect that beautifully. Fancy alternatives? Get your walking boots on — it’s a solid 30-minute trek to town… and a 45-minute uphill reality check on the way back.
For families, it’s about as inspiring as a grey Tuesday. No proper park, freezing pool, and activities that feel like they’ve been abandoned rather than maintained.
All in all, it’s not aggressively terrible… it’s just painfully underwhelming for the price. The kind of place that makes you question your life choices while being blasted by wind and serenaded against your will.
Avoid if you value warmth, atmosphere, or your sanity.

I stayed here for a single night after I had some problems with an overbooking on another place. And I can say that I only regret that I did not schedule full vacations here.
When I switched to the competitor that I already paid, so I had no choice, it felt like a downgrade. Because this place is spotless, the pool was heated, there's a huge chessboard that my kid loved to play.
The only inconvenience was that it's a little bit far from the beach, and we had to use the car, but in general, the room, it was a single bugle for my whole family, and it was amazing.

Excellent services and apartment facilities! All staff are extremely helpful and friendly, the instant reply to our requests is beyond impressive. One bonus is the restaurant in the resort and the artists they invited, the vacation just got better with such great food and music.
