The combination is unbeatable - a comfortable, clean, attractive, very well located, affordable, superbly designed, and very well managed hotel in the very heart of the best of Valletta, with management and staff who genuinely CARE about the well-being and satisfaction of their guests!
The food in their rooftop restaurant was only made better by the spectacular views out over Valletta, the bay, the fortresses, and Sliema in the distance.
The staff were exemplary - ALL of them! But a special call-out to Abeer Djebali, the front office manager and Aleksandar Mirkovic, the guest experience manager. Both of them really went “the extra mile” to ensure our stay in their hotel was truly special!

I had a fantastic stay at The Ambassy Valleta Hotel! The location is perfect for exploring Malta, with great restaurants, shops, and attractions nearby.
The staff were amazing—friendly, welcoming, and always helpful, making me feel at home from the start.
The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I highly recommend it and would definitely return!

Had an amazing one night stay here, the hotel is lovely and very high quality, there is a roof top bar and pool. They offered a complimentary arrival drink and I even got a nice upgrade to my room with a beautiful terrace overlooking the Valletta roof tops. As a female solo traveller the location was also perfect being so central everything was in walking distance and felt very safe. I would definitely stay here again :)

Great location, rooms and all features you could ask for. Best rooftop patio with views and food for breakfast and dinner, and cooling off in pool. Breakfast was fresh and best ingredients at buffet they served. Nice gym to squeeze in a workout. Great a/c and showers in rooms. Pristinely clean! In heart of Vallatta on a lively street with amazing live music and entertainment but when you close windows in room it is very quiet and easy to sleep. Best of all were all the staff there. Everyone so warm and helpful, especially Aleksander who helped us with so many food and activity recommendations with great enthusiasm, and very accommodating to help us with our many questions and needs. I forgot and thought I lost my expensive sunglasses at pool and staff brought back to me promptly next day.

I absolutely loved the terrace, especially because I had a wonderful date there with a very handsome Italian! The vegetarian options are quite limited, but they are incredibly tasty. I tried something completely new and was pleasantly surprised by the flavors.
It's a shame we didn't make a reservation, as we could have had a table with a better view, but even so, the atmosphere was lovely and we had a great experience. I would definitely recommend it!
