Lovely stay- the rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing despite being in the middle of a busy city.
The rooftop was a highlight for us. In Valletta in can be hard to find hotels with a pool, so having the space to relax and cool down was perfect.
While the subbed area by the pool was slightly limited, there’s also a roof deck with extra loungers and comfy sofas. It was much quieter up there and had a nice breeze, though to access the pool you have to walk through the restaurant.
The location was ideal- right in the centre of Valletta, surrounded by lovely restaurants and close to buses and taxis to explore the island more. The hotel is located on a lively party street with music, which can be noisy outside, but you’d never know from the rooms.
The staff were brilliant throughout our stay- everyone from reception to rooftop to housekeeping was friendly and helpful. Sometimes housekeeping didn’t replenish the tea bags or coffee pods, and once took our robes without replacing them. But a quick call to reception and it was sorted within minutes.
The rooftop pool closes at 7pm, but they offer a midnight swim between 12-1am. We absolutely loved swimming at night and even saw fireworks from the pool, which was really special.
Breakfast wasn’t included in our stay, but we did receive a complimentary breakfast one morning. The selection wasn’t huge, but had everything you’d typically want for breakfast.
I’d definitely recommend this hotel in Valletta.

We loved this hotel. It’s right in the heart of everything and there’s several bars and restaurants right on its doorstep.
The staff were all very helpful and friendly and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The bathrooms, and showers in particular were fantastic.
There’s a restaurant on the 7th floor that overlooks the city, with a great view of the cathedral. The food and service are both excellent. This is also where you will find the pool which is cool in the summer and warmed in the colder months.
And yes, it could be a little noisy at night from the street however this is a central hotel in a city with a bustling night life so it didn’t diminish the stay.

Very nice hotel, clean, stylish & the staff were professional on our arrival and throughout. Situated in the heart of the city with brilliant views from the roof top overlooking the city. Pool is small but was enough to keep cool. Another great touch was another level above the pool just for bathing, you do have to walk through the restaurant to get access. The restaurant was inviting even better at night when it’s all lit and glowing! however at night can get very noisy from surrounding bars and restaurants till late. During the day it’s relaxing. Easy access to shops.

Stayed at the Embassy in January 2025 and it was everything we could have asked for.
Perfect location for exploring Valletta with easy access to public transport to see the rest of the island.
The hotel and facilities were excellent, particularly the rooftop restaurant for breakfast and the pool.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
We have recommended the hotel to friends and family and are already looking into when we can come stay again.

A great design hotel with a restaurant and rooftop pool, offering fantastic panoramic views of Valletta. We were warmly welcomed by Luca, the excellent receptionist, who does a fantastic job. The Deluxe Room is comfortable and has comfortable beds. The only minor drawback is the lack of a power outlet in the bathroom, so we had to dry our hair in the hallway. Thank you, and we will definitely be back!
