It was our first time in Portugal and our first stay at this hotel — and it was wonderful! Even our transfer driver commented that it’s a great hotel.
First of all, the staff: friendly, polite, and genuinely pleasant.
Second, the location: I would call it brilliant. The beach is just a few steps away — close enough to walk back to the room in a swimsuit, which I happily did. The beach itself is one of the best, and the views are breathtaking.
You can reach the streets with great food in just a few minutes on foot, and the Old Town is also within walking distance.
The price is very reasonable for such a perfect location.
We chose a sea-view room, and it was the best decision — especially watching the sunset from our own balcony.
The room is quite spacious, with a living area, kitchen, and bedroom. Everything you need is there. The shower water could be slightly hotter, but compared to the ocean temperature in late November, it felt warm enough)))
Everything is clean and well kept.
Breakfast is simple, but very fresh, tasty, and more than enough to start the day pleasantly.
Thank you for a wonderful experience — I’ll gladly return!

While the location of the apartments in the new town is close to the beach that is the only positive I have. We arrived in December our apartment had no hot water or working heat. A maintenance man came to fix the AC which worked for one night, we were offered a room change on the Sunday which we accepted. Second room had hot water on the tuesday but that was it. We complained to the staff who were not helpful at all and didnt offer an explanation to us for this. Our room was never cleaned while we were there for the 7 days. We were not offered towels and at one occasion we had to go ask for towels, when they brought them up they didnt take the wet ones with them but stated their colleague would collect them which never happened. We had to shower using hot water from the kettle and jugs from the kitchen to wash our hair etc which is a disgrace and bins were never emptied. Beds were not comfortable at all we woke up each morning with sore backs. The tv in the room never worked, this was also mentioned to staff. On the final night I was woken up at 4am from screaming and shouting from another room, it states on their leaflet to ring their 24hr reception at any time but when we picked up the phone to call the phone wasn't working either. I stated this to the staff member on checking out. I also spoke to other guests who had similar experiences during their stay. While checking into the apartments we were never informed that there was a problem with the hot water. While there was 1 male member of staff who was polite and apologetic the rest of the staff were very unhelpful and rude upon checkout when I mentioned our concerns

Myself, my girlfriend and her family came here for a week's break back in October. Unfortunately it was cut short due to a death in the family but the staff here were so understanding and helpful with our situation. Helping us organise transfers back to the airport and making sure our time there was smooth and as best that could be considering the circumstances. Great location and good selection of drinks by the pool. The only downside was we ordered a sea view room but got given a lower level room facing the opposite direction into some trees (not a Biggie because we wouldn't have spent much time in the room itself anyway). Lovely kind staff that showed a lot of compassion.

Probably the worst hotel I have ever been in. I booked a hotel for seven nights, for my son’s 10th birthday. We got to the hotel at 10pm , just to find out the room was full of hair, toilet was not flushed, kettle not working and when I tried to call the receptionist, the phone was not working either. ( let’s not mention the 2 meter phone cable on the floor in front of the door). After calling the receptionist explaining the situation from my own phone number, he told me that the maintenance guy was not there and therefore nothing could be done until the following Monday. When I explain that kettle wasn’t working and the toilet wasn’t flushed and called him a few times he dragged himself to come and give me a new kettle however he was relating the kettle to the maintenance guy. The following morning we went to the reception to explain how awful our room was about the cleanness of the room, and how disappointed I was from the Hotel. The lovely girl who I believe was Italian and the only person who actually kid in the hotel promised me that I would that she would help me out and try to change my room which she did the quality of breakfast served every day was horrible. The first few couple first few days there was no jam, no tissue, and barely anything to eat apart from some sausages and cheese. The quality of products for breakfast were horrendous. The coffee machine was awful and even when I paid for the coffee to be made the coffee from the coffee machine that they had and you had to pay £2 for €2 for it was horrendous as well. I was not the only one complaining about the breakfast, everybody was unhappy about it. The only time that the breakfast bar was full, Was when a lot of customers came in after the Christmas and they made an effort to put a few more items out. Again when I reached the receptionist to explain to her that not many items were there, she said you I am the only person in here and I can do whatever I can do. Again the only person who would only Who would smile at you every day regardless of her tiredness was the young Italian girl who was the best one out of fall. Overall, I would not recommend this this Hotel at all. The only good point about this Hotel is that is about hundred feet away from the seaside. I initially booked for a room for Seaview however they changed it for me saying they had it has been upgraded to an apartment what I found out later was because they were so busy they didn’t give me the room that I initially enquired about. Also when booking this apartment very in mind that walls are paper thin and you can even hear people flushing the toilet or pulling the chair out and that’s very disturbing. also, within the seven days we were there, nobody came to change our bedsheets and the room was only cleaned every other day or every other two days. If wasn’t for that particular receptionist, Who tried her best to help me out with the resources that she had, I would’ve left on the first night.

It was our first ever time in Portugal when we arrived the staff member was lovely and told us all the information we needed to know and then showed us to our room. The hotel was okay in general the beds were different heights which made it uncomfortable to sleep with a partner if you like to be close to them. Our bin and towels got changed twice in the stay but our bed sheets never got changed for a week which is kind of disgusting as we are sweating in the heat and having to sleep in that. Our microwave kept cutting the electricity out. The staff were good in general the pool was freezing cold and sunbeds were broken. The view from the apartment was lovely we overlooked the sea. We were at the bottom of a hill which was fine but it is a steep hill so suggest not for people who have limited mobility. But overall I would stay there again
