Booked this through on the beach.
1. It was super cheap- so didnt expect anything fancy. But seriously ive seen better conditions at her majestys pleasure. The rooms are freezing! The bedding is super thin! And we unfortunately got a room with a sofa bed which honestly is not fit for purpose. Great location and lovely staff but the rooms are a massive letdown! We ended up booking Agua Viva for £52 for the remaining two nights- which is only round the corner and the rooms are lovely there - with proper beds and bedding- so just shop around- because you can get somewhere in just as good location for just as cheap- you really need to sort your rooms out guys its 2026 !
** i am aware the beds come up to form one however they are still the thinnest mattresses I have ever slept on in my life and the remote for the aircon did not work because the batteries had corroded inside. I am aware you would have fixed these issued if i had mentioned as i did say you are lovely staff but i honestly didnt see the point as i have actually stayed in better hostels. And i think a deposit of 100 euro per person is extremely steep - especially as this can only be paid in cash, and does not reflect the value of the items inside the room as im sure major improvements could be made for 200 euros in that room. The kind of business you will attract if you dont improve the rooms is not the desirable type. Thanks 😊👍

We booked 3 nights in February. Only stayed for one night. We took the loss and booked another hotel elsewhere for the remaining 2 nights. I might recommend this hotel if you're on a budget and you priotitize location over comfort. We stayed on the ground floor. Street noise was excessively loud. The room was too bright to sleep well and when we asked for more bedding since there wasnt enough for both beds a direct no was received by the unconcerned staff. We weren't able to take a hot shower in the morning after a terrible night sleep. The water temperature was barely luke warm. Our mistake was thinking we could manage 3 nights of a 3 week vacation in Portugal due to the price and location regardless of the conditions and lower rating. This was not worth it. We moved on. I could understand how young adults might find this hotel sufficient in the middle of summer who just need a cheap place to sleep off a night of drinking and partying. Unfortunately, that's not our style which made this hotel a very poor fit for us.

Recently stayed here with a large group and had a horrible experience. When checking in my group and another group were all waiting and talking to which one of the managers angrily rang the bell to get everyone to be quiet instead of asking us, this should have been the first sign. After two nights staying there our group and another got shouted at by the manager for being too noisy and told they would force us to sleep on the beach if we were noisy again which is highly unprofessional as if a complaint was raised to us prior we would have been receptive and been quieter.
After this encounter we then the last night of our stay were quieter as we listened to our warning. Despite this at checkout we were told that there was another complaint from a staff member complaining we were being noisy that night and that our full deposit was not to be given back. They did not provide any evidence or tell us what time it was that we were being noisy as it was a different staff member working that night and apparently they just ‘weren’t allowed to tell us’. After some back and forth we eventually got half back (which we didn’t argue with if as we knew we were too noisy the first two nights). At checkout as well they charged another room in our group €29 for two stained towels one was stained with a drink and the other with mud which is quite a common stain. After we found this out we spoke to another party checking out and they had said they had ripped towels and weren’t charged. But what was even worse the other room in our group deposited €100 and only got 90 back to which reception claimed they only deposited 90.
They’ve clearly seen a group of mostly younger women and taken advantage of us.

Firstly, guests are required to pay a €100 deposit in CASH ONLY upon arrival (their website indicates that they take cards), which is completely separate from the booking payment. This was very inconvenient, especially at checkout, as it meant having to deal with unused cash and currency exchange rather than a simple card transaction.
The condition of the apartment was also disappointing. The rooms felt extremely stuffy with poor ventilation, and the air conditioning was not working. On top of that, several plug sockets, particularly the whole side of the air conditioner and kitchen area were not functioning, which made basic things like boiling a kettle very inconvenient, as we had to place it on the floor or use plugs in other areas like the bathroom or bedroom.
Cleanliness was another major issue. The apartment was not properly cleaned, and we encountered a large cockroach in the room as well as a spider in the bathroom, which was very unpleasant.
Customer service was also lacking. While one staff member was polite, another staff member named Elena came across as rude. She repeatedly spoke to her colleague in Portuguese while we were standing there, which felt unprofessional and disrespectful, as we could not understand the conversation. We had to ask her to speak in English.
Overall, this stay did not meet expectations in terms of comfort, cleanliness, or service. I would rate this property no higher than 2 out of 5.

we arrived as a group booking and the first thing that went wrong was when we were checking in they had the wrong rooms for the number of people we had and the document they had was old and hadn’t been updated, the rooms also didn’t have enough toilet roll and the cleaner didn’t provide any more I had to ask at reception for some. We then had a horrible experience with the manager who shouted at us all for being too loud a few nights in and she threatened to kick us out and we’d have to ‘sleep on the beach’ as a group of young girls this is worrying as we felt vulnerable and targeted, they also threatened to take our €100 deposits each because of noise, no damage (this is not what a deposit is for), the last few days we had to stay in our flats during the evening so they couldn’t tell us we wouldn’t get our deposit back for any more noise. While checking out they told us we would not receive our deposits back for this exact reason on the last night, so we discussed with the manager who told us we’d only get half back and had to show proof it wasn’t us being loud and they checked the security cameras and in fact we had been respectful, they also accused us of stealing deposit money when one of us received €90 instead of €100 as well as the larger room of 8 beds only got half the deposits back. On top of this cleaners only came once over 5 days and didn’t change towels then when checking out, said because there was a mark on a towel we’d be charged €29 for a towel. 100% scam and staff and manager were very rude and inconsiderate as well as immoral. Only good aspect is that it’s close to the strip. They just want as much money off you as possible.
