North Linc’s Foodie
The Club Santa Rosa is designed for families with plenty of child based activities on site, though the pool and gym are great for adults.
The complex has pubs and eateries attached to the side and the kids play areas are built below them so there are a few flights of stairs to access the bowling lanes, kids play areas, etc.
There is a pharmacy, hipermarket (their spelling), a Chinese buffet, fish restaurant and bars built at the side of the main road (attached to the reception).
Across the road and a few hundred yards down is a side road to the beach. The beach road takes you to Costa Teguise town and is a lovely walk.

I have a mixed opinion on the hotel.
Firstly I’d like to say the cleaners were so friendly and very good, the whole complex was incredibly clean and modern which was great.
The facilities were okay but very basic, there was no day time entertainment as advertised and other then a couple of low key pubs next door we had to get a taxi to the square to find any sort of entertainment (taxis incredibly cheap at €2.80). The pharmacy, gift shop and super market next door were very handy. Also having the ATM machine outside the hotel was really useful too.
Food had very limited options but what there was tasted delicious! The food at the poolside bar was equally as good. Drinks very reasonably priced.
The facilities for kids weren’t great, you had to pay for bowling which was a little annoying but not too pricey. The softplay was impressive but it was a nightmare for my little boy who’s autistic because the staff didn’t speak a word of English and was also open to the public so everyone there seemed to be locals. Every time we went there was a big birthday party going on so was a little overwhelming. Also there is a few broken slabs in the entrance way on the floor causing my disabled mum to trip and have a really nasty fall in front of everyone, no one came to help her which was very disappointing (I wasn’t there at the time).
Some staff members were lovely but most were really rude and we were often made to feel like a massive inconvenience, even a little smile towards them got a dirty look in return which was a little awkward.
The pool was ridiculously salty so was reluctant to get in at times as hurt my eyes. We all got in the pool in sunglasses and was very very cold. The poolside was so so slippery, my son slipped and banged his elbow and in the space of an hour another 2 people slipped over in different places around the pool.
The hotel was decent enough and served its purpose, the beds were very comfortable and the complex was nice and clean just limited entertainment and a few hazards that need looking in to. Staff need to be a little more user friendly.
TIP - download google translate because the workers English is very very limited but can’t complain as they are in their own country, we used it often and they were grateful when we did.
If you’re looking for lots to do it’s not the hotel for you especially families). There was a little park but as it was all plastic the heat made all the equipment boiling hot so the kids couldn’t use it. Excursions were ridiculous prices so if you plan to do some find cheaper tickets online before you travel 😊
Regardless of the negatives we had a lovely family holiday and the nearby beach was beautiful!

Just returned home from a week stay at these lovely apartments, everything from start to finish was lovely. There were 6 of us staying here so I requested rooms close together prior to arrival, the request was granted. We had 2 2 bedroom apartments and one one bedroom. The rooms were immaculate, very clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area was great, it wasn’t too busy so no problem getting sun loungers, the pool bar was ideal and prices were relatively cheap, we ate a few times from there and the food was lovely. This was my first time in Lanzarote and i would without hesitation return to The Santa Rosa, thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

The rooms are excellent. They have all been refurbished. Beds comfortable, plenty of coat hangers for two. You have your own sunloungers and table and chairs on the terrace of your room. The cleaner is in everyday apart from Wednesday and Sunday. The pool is large, cold and salt water. Loads of sun loungers around the pool along with sunshade. In October it was quiet, so can't comment on wars for the sunloungers. There is a poolside bar. Reasonable prices. Had a pizza. €9.50. Was homemade. Lovely. We were half board {normally s/C} Location: has bars and restaurants around the apartments but it is about 15/20 mins from the square. The breakfast is as expected. Cereals, meats, cheeses, fruit, cooked breakfast. Tea, coffee, juices. Various offerings for dinner. Warm, tasty, salads, deserts. Personally like to be closer to the square but as a birthday present, not going to complain.

Spotless hotel, rooms very spacious and clean, we went self catering and there is a small supermarket about 2 mins walk, the pool is lovely and there are plenty of sunbeds, only gripe would be the lack of parasols, few and far between so be early if you want some shade. A 15/20 stroll into the town, go via the coast its nicer than the road. Enjoy 🍸
