Overall, we had a good stay at BLUESEA Costa Teguise Gardens and would recommend it for anyone looking for affordable, no-frills accommodation.
We arrived at around midnight on 16 July and unfortunately our first room had a very strong, pungent smell of vomit that lingered throughout the room. We went straight to reception and the receptionist working around midnight on 16 July was really helpful. There were no other rooms available that night, but he told us to return in the morning and assured us he would leave a message for the next team.
When we went back to reception at around 9–10am on 16 July, the staff already knew about our complaint, which showed great communication between the teams. The receptionist managed to find us a really good replacement room within about an hour. A big shoutout to both receptionists working those shifts for handling the situation so well!
The new room was clean and tidy. The rooms and facilities are super outdated, but you have to remember this is budget holiday accommodation, not a luxury resort.
I do think it should be made clearer when booking that there is no air conditioning. I was honestly about to lose it when I first found out! 😂 However, with the Costa Teguise winds, opening the windows kept the room comfortable and we actually had no problem with the heat.
Dylan at the bar was amazing! Even during the busiest times when he seemed to be serving everyone by himself, he was quick, attentive and focused on making sure people got their drinks. There were a lot of people waiting and he handled the pressure really well. He definitely deserves some recognition!
Hamzah, I believe his name was, at the bar came across as a little intimidating and not particularly welcoming at times. It sometimes felt like I was causing an issue by coming back for another drink. A smile and slightly friendlier approach would make a big difference, although I completely understand that you never know what someone may be dealing with personally.
The food was good! Some of the negative reviews about the food seem a little harsh. You have to remember this isn’t a luxury hotel with endless choices. For what we paid and the type of accommodation, the food was enjoyable and we had no complaints.
Finally, a shoutout to the female receptionist working at around 7pm on 25 July, who I spoke to about late checkout. She was really helpful and explained that a courtesy room could be provided.
Overall, I would definitely recommend BLUESEA Costa Teguise Gardens if you’re looking for a decent, affordable place to stay in Costa Teguise.
Go with realistic expectations for budget accommodation and you’ll have a good time. The helpful staff, particularly the reception team and Dylan at the bar, really stood out during our stay.

Currently on our 3rd night of 7.
Rooms are very basic but has all that you need i.e, pots and pans, cooker top, plates, cutlery and also a Microwave.
Only downside is, No A/C..
On-site Mini-Market, very affordable prices and a big selection of things you may need. **You can hire a fan (€20 for the week + €30 deposit upon returning the fan)
Checking-in was a breeze, very friendly and approachable staff.
Wi-Fi isnt the best, works perfectly when you're close to reception, however we are on the corner of the resort and it doesnt reach.
Pools/outside area are very well kept, very clean. Pool is pretty cold however and not very big. Lifeguard is a bit of a bore if you want to move the sun loungers though :(
Overall, a great place to stay when looking for a budget-friendly holiday!

A Serious Safety Incident That Wasn't Taken Seriously
During our first family holiday with our 14-month-old daughter, a ceiling fan blade detached in the early hours of the morning and fell directly into her travel cot while she was sleeping, landing just inches from her head. Thankfully, she was not injured, but the consequences could have been catastrophic.
We immediately reported the incident to the hotel. The night receptionist was empathetic, apologetic and helpful, providing us with a floor fan and acknowledging how serious the situation was. Unfortunately, our experience changed when we spoke to the chief receptionist the following morning, who was dismissive of our concerns. We were even told there was "nothing to report as an accident" because nobody had been injured.
A maintenance technician later inspected the fan and determined that the entire unit needed replacing.
We submitted a detailed formal complaint with photographs and evidence, raising serious concerns about how this could have happened and the hotel's inspection and maintenance procedures. The hotel's response failed to address our concerns and instead offered us 20% off a future stay—which we have no intention of taking.
It is such a shame, as the rest of our holiday was good, and some members of staff were absolutely excellent with our daughter. Unfortunately, this is the sour note our first family holiday ended on.
A fan blade falling into a baby's cot is not a minor inconvenience or simply a disappointing holiday experience. We were incredibly lucky that our daughter was not seriously injured. We expected the hotel to take this incident seriously, investigate what happened, and provide reassurance that other guests are safe. Sadly, we have been left extremely disappointed by the lack of accountability and meaningful response.

Well we booked 3 nights all inclusive, for my birthday. Upon arrive we had asked for a nice view .. we had to wait a bit longer but the lady on recepition was very lovely.
If this is one of the better rooms... omg i dont really need to say anything the pictures shows enough . The food is terrible we ate out everyday.
The bar lady who was on the pool bar on the 14th is a lovely lady and an assest .. the other seemed to be incovince serving us.
Then we come to the entergainment .. the 360 adam was really lovely. But the enetertainment guy who also does the daytime and even meal. Was just not fit for his job. Ive stayed in some blueseas before .. but we were never given his name the 3 nights consisted of bingo which is 10 euro to enter ... every night ... which didnt start untill 10pm.. and he was watching the football on his phone and when somone scored he shouted down the mic he would be constanting shouting really loud un audible. It was like a child was trying to show off. Was really bad. Overall id say i will no return with how bad ther rooms were, the food and the entertainment. I dont even this a 1 stat would describe it.
