We had a great stay at R2 Kontiki Apartments and would happily return.
Our apartment had a separate bedroom with a large comfortable bed, a lounge area with a kitchenette, sofa and TV, plus a balcony where we could relax in the evenings. It was spacious, clean, and worked very well for a family stay.
A lovely surprise was a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us on arrival, which was a very nice touch and made us feel welcome from the start.
The staff were extremely kind, friendly and helpful throughout our visit.
The breakfast was excellent. Hot dishes such as fried eggs, omelettes, scrambled eggs and pancakes were freshly cooked to order by the chef, while the buffet offered a good variety of food and changed between days, which kept things interesting.
The kitchenette and fridge were very useful during our stay. The fridge was large enough to keep local food fresh, and we enjoyed a simple evening meal of Spanish ham and cheese on our balcony.
The location is excellent. There is a supermarket nearby for anything you might need, and the apartments are just a short walk from the main street with its many restaurants, bars, shops and the beach.
We decided to take advantage of the late checkout option (€40 till 3pm, €50 till 6pm) because our flight was in the evening. It was well worth it, as it allowed us to enjoy the pool for most of the day before heading to the airport.
The pool is suitable for both children and adults, with depths ranging from around 0.5 m - 1.5 m. It felt very family-friendly and was one of the highlights of our stay.
Sea view at breakfast and from the swimming area was a nice bonus.
Parking was never a problem, with plenty of spaces available on the surrounding streets.
Overall, a very family-friendly place in a great location with excellent staff, breakfast and facilities. Highly recommended.

Rating only 3* because the rooms are pretty different from the pictures advertised/marketed officially (see below). The rest of the facilities is excellent.
The heated pool with sea view is great and especially fantastic for kids. The resort is very close to the beach and to restaurants.
Unfortunately most of the apartments actually do not correspond to photos, the latter representing only the units with the best view. So you got quite a good chance that you're given another type (no pool view, lateral sea view, etc.).
Many units have the street by the bedroom: check for that, too!
When asked to change unit, the personnel ignored us politely, letting us know that the images are only "examples".
Attached a photo of our balcony view... Yes, it's sea view but mostly taken by the AC equipment of the apartments on the lower floor.

Excellent. This was our third time staying here. Would highly recommend. Location good, apartment lovely. Pool area lovely. Views are amazing. Lovely staff. The only thing I would say is there is a steep hill.up to it from the main area. Was not a problem for us but would be something to consider if someone had mobility issues.

Wasn't the cleanest. Shower drain full of hair, to the point it was over flowing the shower tray 1st time we had a shower. I opened the drain to find weeks if not months worth of hair. Hair, pubes all over tiles in batbroom and bathroom sink. Under bed hadnt been dusted or mopped in a while, white socks were filthy. Moved the bedside table/light to find lots of dust and hair as if its been swepped under. The curtains/ netting had hair on in the bedroom. Definitely wasnt checked to see if it was clean before they let us in. The kitchen seemed clean though. Lots of stains on the sofa and very smelly

Staff are just fabulous. This is now our fourth visit. Rooms are always spotless, even with my messy 4 year old son. Pool is great and the food is lovely. Would definitely recommend 100%
