Our family of five returned home from here yesterday. I honestly can not understand how this place has any negative reviews. The accommodation far surpassed our expectations, the rooms are large, clean and well equipped. The pool areas are beautifully clean and inviting and all the members of staff we met were welcoming and friendly. The cafe serves delicious pizza and ice cold drinks, ideal for hot long days by the pool.
We enjoyed it so much we are about to book again but this time for two weeks. I would recommend hiring a car if you visit in the summer months as its a fair walk from the town and beaches, all up hill on the way back. We hired a car and it really made a difference to the holiday. The hotel does provide a free mini bus service to the local town and beach if required. We can not wait to return!

I was really worried that we hadn't considered this accommodation enough before we came, but we couldn't be happier! Our room is great, the staff are so lovely and really helpful. Accessible great for mobility issues, we have a step in an accessible room, so not great for wheelchair access but didn't affect us. Situated in a beautiful area, close to restaurants and the beach with a great pool. Cleaning and love music 3 times a week. Free minibus into armacao de pera. Lidl and intermarche supermarkets close by. Ubers are cheap enough to other places (we went to Lagos zoo for about €30). We'll definitely be back, absolutely love it!

I went with my family to this country estate accommodation and it was a good experience. This year was already our second time there and we continue to like it very much.
The location is very good, with everything you need (supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, etc.) within walking distance. The rooms are simple but comfortable and clean. The cleaning staff tidies them every few days. The pools are well maintained and always clean. However, they are just that — functional.
There is a rule prohibiting guests from leaving towels on the sun loungers to reserve them, but almost everyone does it anyway and the staff usually don’t intervene.
Another thing to note is that during peak season, it’s hard to enjoy the pools in peace. The children (especially in the smaller pool) spend their time playing, running around and disturbing others, while the parents rarely control them. This is something we notice every time we go.
That said, I still recommend the place for a one- or two-week holiday. It’s a quiet and pleasant spot, ideal for families — as long as you can handle the noise and bustle from the children in the pool area.

Went for a week in April. Staff were friendly and helpful. Apartment was nice and clean, pool area was clean and well catered with the café / restaurant on site.
Cooking facilities were a little basic, could have done with a spatula and the microwave didn't work...but we don't use them so it wasn't an issue for us. That said I'm sure the staff would have sorted it out of we'd asked.

Our apartment was in the Village part where the reception is. As yet there is no-where to post a review about that part. The place deserves the 3 stars, it was amazing. The sofa can be a double bed, there is a double bed in bedroom 1 and two singles in bedroom 2. Everything is provided in the kitchen and outside are as many sun loungers as you might need plus a parasol. There is a roof terrace for sunbathing and drying your washing. The cafe is small but good, the pools are super clean. Quite impressive for the price, it makes you want to return.
