Accommodation - we stayed at Oasis Village. The room was a bit run down and dated.
The heater had a frayed electrical cord, the table wobbled and the wooden door frame seemed to have some rotten. Cleanliness was good though.
Restaurant - we paid for half board and it was definitely worth it. The food was very good and servings were generous. There was generally an option that the children enjoyed.
Service - was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Although we had a lovely holiday to Vilamoura, unfortunately the hotel and staff did let it down slightly.
The receptionist only walked us halfway to our room and then just pointed where to go from there, didn’t offer to help with our luggage. When we got to our room, our key cards didn’t work as they hadn’t set them up and we had to go back to reception. We paid extra for a balcony and pool view, got put on the ground floor of a completely different complex. When we questioned this, we were told our room was a “superior room”, as it had air conditioning and “comfier beds”- the beds were not particularly comfortable, the blankets were like rugs, and we had one pillow each.
Our back doors did not lock, we had to bring all our money, passports and valuables with us every time we went out as we didn’t feel comfortable leaving them. My partner went to the front desk to mention it to them, the receptionist working punched the desk in temper. They then just said “shutters” to him, which again we weren’t aware of as we weren’t walked to our room. They told him they would send a repair man out and never did, even started talking about him while he was still there.
The complex we were put on had full time residents who would often sit outside doing drugs and were quite intimidating at times.
The cleaners came very late, around 4-5pm when we would be getting ready to go out, often resulting in us telling them to just leave it.
I would not recommend this hotel. Outdated and broken facilites, poor management and rude staff. It’s a real shame as every other person and establishment we came across in Vilamoura was absolutely brilliant.

Spent 2 weeks here and honestly could not fault it. Large spacious 1 bedroom superior apartment with air con in both the bedroom & living room. Comfortable beds, kitchen and bathroom all excellent quality. Large balcony with table and chairs. Large pool area with plenty of beds, shade from trees and tarpaulin available. Great bar area, food and great prices. Bar staff were lovely. Beds and towels changed regularly. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance and also the marina was a lovely walk but Ubers so cheap €4.
Definitely return.

Bit of a late review but we travelled here in August for a 5 day trip. We had a lovely stay here. It was nice and quiet. The pool area was a lovely little garden area with plenty of sunbeds that you can move around as you please whether you want to sit in the sun or in a shaded area under the trees. Never a fight for sunbeds as there are loads and the pool area doesn’t open til 10am so no getting up at 6 to secure a bed. There are other pools in the complex I think you can use but we just stayed in the one. States no inflatables but a couple of kids did use them with not much attention noted from the lifeguards.
The staff there are great and very friendly. Julia was always on hand to let us know what was on the menu for evening meal if we decided to stay there to eat. We were self catering and a pizza was around 10-11 euros, fries were around 3 euros. Soft drinks are around 3.5 euros as is the lager. There is an 0% alcohol section also for the non drinkers.Evening menu was good with plenty of pastas and meat/fish dishes to choose from and the buffet was 22euro per person with a variety of food on. The breakfast was a set price of 11.95 euros whether you wanted a taste of everything or just a bacon sandwich which I think could be altered.
Rooms are definitely dated but clean and very spacious. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was great but an extra bathroom would have been an added bonus. We had 2 balconies and was south facing so sun all day round ( room 71 ). Cleaners were in every day and provided clean towels and bedding.
Evening entertainment was good with live singers and karaoke on selected nights.
Lovely little supermarket on site where we went daily to fill our fridge with soft drinks, lagers, water , meat and cheese and fresh bread/buns daily which was great for making a sandwich for an afternoon snack by the pool which we did.
Only a 10 minute taxi ride to the marina which was around 5-6 euros and it is a beautiful place. Very busy as it was August and a bit pricy in some areas but well worth a visit for some nice food and drink.
There is a free shuttle bus 3 times a day to the beach but the last one is at 4pm so you will need to get a taxi back if your heading out on the last one but it’s only around 5-6 euros.
Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely consider coming back in the future.

We had an amazing time. Friendly and has everything you need. We could visit 2 different pool areas and there is a free bus to the marina 3 times a day. Only issue was the furniture and facilities in the apartment we had. Oven didn't work, sofas were so old and torn in places. Beds were bowed, water kept blocking and there were quite alot of ants. Besides this, we had a lovely time but would book the hotel next door if we visited again
