Accommodation - we stayed at Oasis Village. The room was a bit run down and dated.
The heater had a frayed electrical cord, the table wobbled and the wooden door frame seemed to have some rotten. Cleanliness was good though.
Restaurant - we paid for half board and it was definitely worth it. The food was very good and servings were generous. There was generally an option that the children enjoyed.
Service - was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We are in a self catering apatment which is great, kitchen utensils and cooking equipment are ample,full size fridge with a freezer compartment.
Oven is also a full size oven with an electric two ring hob
Friendly staff, bar/restaurant areas with resonable charges for drinks and food.
A small adequte shop is near by too.
30 min walk into the marina which is very safe to walk day or night as its well lit and sign posted
There is a free shuttle bus to and from the marina 3 times a day if prefferd
The rooms are adequate and ckean,basic but our apartment is a generous size with a good size balcony.
The outside pool area is clean and a nice well kept garden area surrounds the hotel.
Outside pool is not heated which is not an issue for us.
My husband recived a lovley bottle of sparkling wine left in our,room for his birthday, which was a nice suprise.

The hotel is made of of 3 complexes - Mourabel, Oasis Village & Pe Do Lago.
We checked in at the Mourabel as everyone does. Check in was quick and done by a really friendly and helpful gentleman who’s name I cant remember.
Our room was in the Oasis Village which is directly opposite the Mourabel. We had a 2 bed superior apartment for 5 of us. The apartment was brilliant, spacious, clean and tidy. We had a full kitchen with oven, hob, microwave and fridge freezer. The maids come in daily. Air Con was included with the room and was an absolute god send as the weather was hot.
There is a nice pool in the Mourabel with plenty of sun loungers which we found to always be available regardless of the time you rocked up. It was really nice to have less slabs and more grass around the pool, made a nice change.
We used the bar for drinks and ice creams and the prices were more than reasonable. We didn't eat at the hotel.
Now the pool at the Mourabel can get naturally busy. However, a 2 minute walk down the road to the Pe Do Lago complex which you enter past the electronic gates with your room key and we found our ideal spot! There is a small shallow childrens pool and a bigger pool similar to the Mourabel. It was always quiet and plenty of sun loungers.
Theres also an area where you can get snacks and drinks too, again more than reasonable. If you want things a little quieter, take the 2 minute stroll.
The hotel does offer complimentary bus rides to the beach 3 times a day, we didnt use it, but the bus is literally parked outside the hotel and a great little touch.
A mini train that travels around Vilamoura has a stop outside the hotel. Again, something we didnt do but always saw it at different points of its journey and was something we always spoke about.
There is a small supermarket 1 minute walk from the hotel, just before you get to the Pe Do Lago complex. You can get all of your essentials and again decent prices.
Admittedly the hotel is a little further out. It does take around 15/20 minutes to get to the marina area where you’ll find a ton of restaurants, shops etc.
We did walk it a few times, mostly evenings, but download the Bolt App. You can pick up a taxi anywhere from €3.50 > €5 one way, its super efficient and easy. We could have paid less per ride, but needed the bigger taxi’s as there was 5 of us. The marina itself is stunning to look at and admire all the super yachts.
Lots of restaurants to pick and choose from that catered for everyone. Theres also a Burger King & McDonald’s, yeah I know, not everyone goes abroad to grab one, but if you wanted a meal without breaking the bank you could. We’d swing by McDonalds for a late night McFlurry and they also had an espresso with ice cream - Absolute winner.
Overall, really enjoyed our time at the Mourabel/Oasis Village and Vilamoura. It ticked all the boxes for what we wanted and we would certainly consider it again.

We stayed in the Oasis Village (yellow building) for 1 week, booked through Jet2 Holidays.
Dirty smelly studio apartment. Coffee stain down the bed, bathroom door didn't full close, toilet seat was too small for the toilet, 4 hangers in wardrobe, one pillow per person, dirty balcony furniture just to name a few problems.
Receptionist staff was unhelpful about the situation.
I think Parque Mourabel (white building) is the more modern and up to date apartments - if you are lucky to stay in one of those rooms.
The bar and restaurant have friendly staff and serve nice food.

Rooms could do with an update, but are clean and very spacious. Half an hour walk to the Marina, and nearest supermarket is on the complex next door. There is a shuttle 3 times a day to drop you down to the arina, but there is not much to do is close proximity to the complex.
