Definitely not 5 star.
We stayed a full week at the Novotel all inclusive .The location was fantastic and the hotel was next to the sea. We had booked 3 rooms and one of our family friends did not come for family reasons. The room was still fully paid. The night that we were leaving the hotel we went to have our dinner before leaving the hotel. I was stopped at the door and ask if had checked out. I replied and said yes i have checked out. I was asked to pay for my dinner and then one of the managers steps in and say will give you 30% discount. I turned back and i said that never had this situation in the past as the night that I checked in i was already after the kitchen was closed. They tried to rectify the issue but by then was already to late.
The food was ok ish. I wouldn’t trust the way the food was handled. Same food that was in the morning or lunch time will be there for dinner especially the veggies. Very disappointed also with fruit choices as very rarely had any and the ones that were had already been cut and smelly. I had tipped every waiter and the kitchen staff all the time as i was aware that they were on low wages but still they are naturally very rude.
Lots of the drinks you had to pay as they claim is not on the package. They will hustle to sell stuff with any cost. Very rude on how they go about it. One of the questions that was very annoying was: where are you from ? Then they will speak to you in Russian language although you speak back in English.
Left the place hungry and disappointed.
Will probably go back but not on the same hotel.

Stayed here for 3nights, hotel is at gr8 location the vibes are good. Too many options for food n breakfast. We had taken all inclusive package but apart from the food n breakfast there was only tea coffee softy n packed juices available rest of the time the taste wasnt that good. Specially for the softy and the juices coffee. This property is better then the other novotel which is across the road. Internet is not
Good specially in our room. Informed the reception but he couldn’t do anything about it may b he knew that. Weather was gr8 that made our stay more worthy.

Overall impression
Visually, the hotel looks very good. The architecture of the buildings is beautiful, the territory is well designed, and from the outside the hotel looks impressive and matches the declared level. However, behind this nice appearance there is strong cost cutting, which seriously affects the quality of the vacation.
Price and pricing policy
The price for two nights in an all inclusive hotel is higher than the average monthly salary in Egypt. At the same time, ice cream in the hotel costs exactly five times more than in a store outside the hotel, the same logic applies to massages. The hotel management uses this pricing approach everywhere.
Food
The food is cheap and simple. It is mostly oil and basic carbohydrates like sugar, pasta, and rice. In nearby restaurants, for very little money, it was possible to eat much better in terms of protein and meat quality. For the price of a premium five star hotel, you actually get a solid three star experience, which is very disappointing.
I partially ate in restaurants outside the hotel because I did not want to eat flour and sugar soaked in oil. At the same time, I want to say that the chefs tried to do their best with very cheap ingredients. The chefs are doing a good job, the problem is not them but the purchasing policy.
Comfort and organization
There were many flies in the dining area and near the pool, it was tiring to constantly wave them away.
The room key cards often got demagnetized, so I had to walk to the reception many times, this is not what you expect from a five star vacation.
In the dining area, a bird was pecking croissants directly on the tables, and no one tried to stop it, which raised serious hygiene concerns.
The toilet door in the room is designed very poorly, and I injured my leg because it is impossible to enter freely.
The second pool was under renovation, and the smell from the construction reached the main pool area.
In the evening, there was a strong sewage smell in the shower.
Pool and facilities
The heated pool is large and deep, which is a plus. However, when the air temperature is below 22 degrees Celsius and there is wind, swimming becomes uncomfortable and very cold.
The internet speed was about 40 Mbps. Alcohol was available, but I do not drink.
Final summary
The hotel looks beautiful from the outside, and the architecture is truly nice. But in reality, it is a solid three star hotel with a very overpriced price. This is especially disappointing because for the money paid, I expected high quality food and a real five star level of comfort.

We had a great experience in Novotel Palm from the very beginning. The highlight was the restaurant Al Dente run by Chef Andrea very knowledgeable and passionate about Italian food, I would definitely recommend it. Will be back!

Pros:
The rooms are nice, the grounds are clean, the staff is friendly, and the beach is good.
Cons:
I had an all inclusive program.
At first, the food seemed good, but after 2 days I couldn't eat in any more: it was too monotonous.
The quality of the alcohol at the hotel was simply awful: it was undrinkable. It was stored in plastic bottles under the sun.
The hotel had a tennis court, but it was in terrible condition: it was old, untidy, and the net was torn. There was some kind of dump next to it, and it constantly stank. Balls were very easy to lose in the bushes.
It was stated that the hotel had billiards, but there was none there.
Summary:
Go there only if you don’t have more money to go the the better place.
