Hotel feels like a solid, decent resort, but it’s clearly showing its age. The standard is acceptable, yet there’s a noticeable “old-school” vibe throughout — especially in the rooms, which could really use a refresh. To the owners: it’s time for a serious revitalization, because the name sets expectations that the property no longer fully meets. That said, what truly saves this place is the staff. The team is excellent — friendly, professional, attentive, and genuinely trying to make guests feel welcome. Their attitude and service level do a lot of heavy lifting and make the stay far more pleasant than the infrastructure alone would suggest. With a proper renovation, this hotel could easily live up to its potential again.
One practical note to consider: A lot of Russian-speaking customers....

Stayed here recently and had a comfortable visit overall. The room was clean, well presented and quiet, with everything needed for a short stay. Check-in and check-out were straightforward and staff were polite and helpful throughout. The bed was comfortable and the facilities were in good condition. Location was convenient for getting around and made the stay easy. A reliable option that offers good value and somewhere I’d happily stay again.

Amazing resort, friendly staff, clean and organised! Good food and good choice. Definitely recommending it! The only reason I don't give 5 stars is the "tips" situation, it's almost an obligation, and the staff (hotel and other services) are very persistent over it, be careful because they even raise the price of the activities and ask you to give them cash. I would suggest to resolve it because it can be extremely stressful (one member of the team followed me for 3 days straight openly asking for the tip). Biggest shout out to our housekeeper Hossam, the sweetest, professional and efficient one I have ever found.

The hotel was lovely, all staff very attentive especially Amim in the buffet restaurant he looked after us everyday, remembering our drinks order and saving our table. Pool staff were also amazing bringing us drinks again remembering our drinks order. The entertainment staff were great, we didn’t really join in but they were very friendly and not too pushy and entertaining to watch they clearly had a good rapport with the guests. The evening entertainment could of done with starting a bit earlier and was very noisy from our room making it difficult to sleep ,the rooms were basic but had everything we needed. The food was varied and of good quality we always found plenty to eat. The Italian Al a carte was especially nice with great service.

We have stayed at the sister hotel, Jaz Mirabel Beach previously but this time stayed at Park and Club which is slightly less expensive but shares many of the same facilities - in our opinion it represents very good value for money but is probably more worthy of a 4 star rating than a 5.
Buffet dining is in a large and well laid out air-conditioned unit, plenty of choice to suit most tastes. The waiters are fast, courteous and efficient, we were looked after immaculately throughout our stay by Mohammed, he would grace any top European restaurant with his professionalism and effortless charm.
We were fortunate to have another Mohammed look after our house-keeping, he was another absolute star and clearly took great pride in his work.
The bar staff worked tirelessly, just a shame that some guests had no manners, a simple "thank you" goes a long way and the occasional gratuity would be appreciated I'm sure.
The gardens, beach and external buildings are magnificent, beautifully maintained as were all of the pools, legions of cleaning staff out early every morning to keep it all pristine.
The rooms themselves are perhaps a little dated and show the "wounds" of previous careless guests stays, scuffs on the walls in high traffic areas etc but nothing to complain about. The shower-room did everything it should do, the A.C. was perfect, the beds comfortable and thanks to Mohammed, it was spotless. We didn't use the mini-bar but it worked and the flat screen TV offered several English speaking channels.
Sadly our daughter was taken ill during our stay but the doctors in the on site medical centre, Dr Ahmed & Dr Mohammed were extremely professional, reassuring and efficient and quickly had her feeling much better. It comes at a cost although worth every penny so do make sure you have travel insurance that covers emergency medical costs as gastroenteritis is commonplace in hot countries in spite of exceptional standards of hygiene you find at Jaz Mirabel.
To summarise, it's a lovely hotel and we had a brilliant time, our thanks to all of the staff for making it a fantastic holiday.

Tip: Defo get travel insurance that includes emergency medical cover, there is no NHS and private medical care is universally expensive.
