Despite mixed reviews we've actually quite enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I will say I agree the food is poor and there is a complete lack of thought given to children's food - no chicken nuggets which is a shame as it's all our 2 year old normally lives off.
The rooms are spacious and the shower is great, they could do with modernising and some TLC but no real complaints here. Cleaners work to high standard and we've had no issues with items going missing.
The location is good in that they have the water park and central entertainment area in the square facing the hotel, although if you want to go anywhere it's a bus/taxi, which is fine but Google maps gets really confused about travel times to nearby Mogan for some reason.
The bars facing the beach nearby are good and the food is decent if you want to mix things up, you could get away with staying on resort your whole stay if you wished.

- hotel is not 4* but more like its other hotel across a 3* , food is miserable and seen on occasions cockroaches at the snack bar beside pool. Had fire alarms going off nearly midnight while in bed on two occasions. Only extra this hotel adds to its name is the aqua park across.
- aqua park is not included on your last day of check out so if you’re staying till evening be aware you’ll most likely need to leave your bags and only use a small pool packed with no where to lay. If you’re booked with hotel need to pay extra €20 a person to avail of all inclusive till you leave which was no mentioned anywhere when booking.

I have no idea where all these positive reviews about this hotel are coming from — apparently from people who don’t travel much and don’t need much to be happy.
This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. If it weren’t for the fact that we came here with friends, both we and the kids would have died of boredom.
The so-called all inclusive option only includes accommodation, food, and drinks — most of which are undrinkable. There are two cocktail options, both made with the cheapest alcohol and sugar. The piña colada is just a sweet syrup — there isn’t even any milk in it 😅
Everything else costs extra. There is absolutely no entertainment on the hotel grounds. Tennis costs €15 per game, basketball €20 — ridiculous!
Towel rental is €15 per towel (deposit), plus €1 non-refundable if you want to exchange it 😅
At the water park, you can’t even get drinking water for the kids — everything is paid.
The kids’ club offers one hour of drawing per day, and every evening the same 40-minute mini disco. We stayed 12 nights — it was enough to drive anyone crazy.
Luckily, we rented a car for the whole stay, so we could at least go somewhere, because the hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere.
The water is disgusting — tastes like pool water, completely undrinkable. Bring your own.
The food is sometimes okay, but mostly the same every day. Lunch is leftovers from the previous day, and dinner is just slightly reworked lunch. The meat is awful — rubbery and poor quality. For children under 5, there’s nothing except fries and spaghetti every single day.
Once they served fish fingers — my two-year-old took one bite and spat it out. I tried it out of curiosity — it tasted like paper. If there was more than 10% fish in it, I’d be truly surprised.
I have no idea who enjoys this food — it’s just grease, with no decent options at all.
We’re a group of seven people, and we all got food poisoning — stomach aches, vomiting, diarrhea.
The room key cards don’t work — you have to run to reception all the time to get them reactivated.
The only good thing is the staff — everyone is very nice, except for the rude old man working at the bar where the entertainment takes place. Such an unpleasant person — I have no idea who hired him.
For the first time ever, I can’t wait to go home. Thankfully, that’s tomorrow.
I don’t recommend this place to anyone. If you’ve ever stayed in a hotel with real entertainment, decent drinks, or a proper kids’ club, you’ll be very disappointed here.

Avoid don't bother going. The journey from airport is 90 quid in cab or 1.45 from airport by coach. The hotel at first glance is nice but when u get into it it gets, worse and worse. Rooms well sized but matreses are like prison beds with one hard thin pillow. Very tatty no kettle or tea coffee facility in rooms. And no were to get bottled water. All drinks served in paper cups no matter what tiem of day u go to bar, the pool is, tiny with zero entertainment for kids. And don't get me started on the food it is, quite simple shocking same crap served every day and it's barely cooked. If u like smelly stewed fish or Brussels sports for breakfast then ur in luck it's like prison food. Jet2 hoildays should be ashamed to put name to it, it is, the worst place u could pay money to go to

Wow! We have had the most incredible stay! All staff members were so welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond for ourselves and two little ones. We were always greeted with a friendly smile and Hola from all. The rooms were a fab base, spacious and always cleaned with fresh towels and bedding when needed. The entertainment team were full of life. All had the biggest bubbly personalities and we enjoyed the miniclub as a mother and daughter duo. The only change I'd make is a fortnightly rota rather than weekly which I can imagine is done during busier seasons. The variety show they put on was absolutely incredible and they all shone!! My little one has spoken about her friends (acttiv team) all the way home! Food was lovely, sometimes a little repetitive but also did themed nights so you could easily make it less repetitive by sticking to one thing. Sometimes the meat on the cook as you eat area was a little pink in the middle so we didn't risk eating it all. The waiters and waitresses were so accommodating and friendly especially as we had two picky and sometimes fussy little ones with us. We spent time at Amadores beach, Puerto Rico, we did a market on the Tuesday and went to the dunes. All of our adventures were via bus and were really reasonably priced. All the other time we enjoyed time at the hotel using the miniclub and poolside entertainment. Pool isn't heated and although the weather is lush and hot sometimes the pool was a little cool for the little ones, we generally used it when the sun had been on it for a while and did short stints but the older children seemed happy to be in and out. Poolside entertainment was fun and a lot of the time dependent on people willing to get involved! I'm sure it's more lively in busier seasons. Poolside staff were lovely and always took the time to teach us the Spanish version of our orders. Huge shout out in particular to Filippo, Ana, Alba, and Marta who we spent most of our time with at the miniclub, pool and discos they were absolutely awesome and a key in our special memories 😍
