The staff were brilliant, extremely helpful and spoke to us in English.
Our room had everything we needed including fresh goods quality towels, bedding was clean and fresh, comfortable bed and pillows.
The ensuite was stocked with everything we needed including teeth cleaning kits, shower caps, sponge, combs, tissues, shower gel, hair shampoo, hand soap gel. Water pressure in the shower and sink was excellent. The shower had plenty of room and had two types of shower facilities in it.
The room also has a mini fridge, TV, safe, desk and chair the lights had plenty of different settings for different times of the day, the air conditioning was so easy to use.
Really great experience.
The room was also quiet and easy to rest in.
One of the favourite points for us was the room top bar.
It over looks the beach, and the staff were friendly and served amazing food late into the evening.
Love the fires 🔥
Really enjoyed our stay.
Thank you. 💕

I am writing to share feedback about my partner’s and my recent stay at your hotel, Silken Saaj Las Palmas, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, from the 28th of October to the 4th of November 2025.
Our stay started on Tuesday, the 28th of October. We arrived around 11 a.m. to drop off our luggage and check in early — at that point, everything seemed fine. However, when we later returned to see our room (no. 201), after paying for the reservation and receiving no information about the hotel facilities whatsoever, we encountered several issues.
First, the room had a twin-bed setup, even though we had not requested it. I immediately called reception, and while the housekeeping team quickly came and kindly rearranged the beds, we noticed several other problems afterward:
Dust on many surfaces
Rusted fixtures
A broken sink with sharp and stained edges
A greasy stain on the back of the door
A minibar with yellow discoloration at the bottom
As we had been awake since 1 a.m. for our flight, we hoped to rest, but this was impossible. The room faced a busy eight-lane road and was not soundproofed at all. Additionally, the ceiling vent in the bathroom was leaking continuously.
I went down to reception and spoke with Carla, who was very understanding. She explained that the noise came from our “upgrade” to an ocean-view room and that the dripping vent was due to our shower use — which was incorrect, as we had not used it. After insisting several times, Carla finally agreed to change our room.
We left our luggage at reception and returned later after dinner to our new room (no. 402). It was indeed quieter, and we appreciated the small gesture of a bottle of Cava and an apology letter. However, the room’s cleanliness was again disappointing:
Yellow stains near the bed and on the toilet walls(I let your imagination guess was kind body fluid it can be)
Dust on multiple surfaces,
Black mold in the shower corners.
Since it was late, we decided not to disturb reception again and went to the rooftop bar for a drink. Unfortunately, the cocktails were poorly made — my margarita was red and the salt was at the bottom of the glass, and the basil smash contained Manzana, making it undrinkable. We left our drinks unfinished. And on the outside lounge where you can smoke we found many cockroaches and one that was probably about 6cm it was terrifying.
After that, we decided not to make further complaints or use the hotel’s services, including breakfast. Despite daily housekeeping, the same cleanliness issues remained throughout our seven-night stay.

Hotel left mixed feelings. People working here are friendly and service good. I wouldnt rate the architecture aince it is taste thing, but for me some choises in building are style over functionality. Touch controls for lighting in rooms is one of them, you have to get used to it. Also fully glass shower (lucy it has curtain divider) in the middle of the room and toilet which is techically in closet with mooving doors are questionable choises in design. Bed was nice and comfortable. Thing that werent so nice is cleanliness, when we first came to room there was a lot of dust, mirrors dirty. Also a little more trust in guests would be better - window handles are removed and room is very stuffy, good that AC works at least. Breakfast could be with wider range of food (porridge may be?) and with better control of fruit freshness. You can get discount in near parking house if you stay here.

Hi, we just came back and...
Staff - super nice and helpful, both at the front desk and the restaurant
Location - good if you want to see both the center and Central beach, but we paid for a sea view room and it is located above the 5 lane street that is SO LOUD it is not possible to sleep (even with the windows closed). The design of the plastic "waves" on the fasade makes the sound even more intense. There are some shops nearby.
The view - is possible only if you bend down to look at the small part of the window under the "plastic fasade" decoration. Tis is true for all "seaview" rooms except maybe the top floor
The room - was quite small with ultra soft bed, and the bedding was weird, for example, our cover was wrapped in 2 bed sheets, so it would fall off all the time, so you're practically sleeping without sheets on the cover. The WC (toilet) a few panels put together, there is no privacy and guess what, you air out by opening the noisy street window :)
The breakfast was ok, not too many options, but not bad, however, it was really cold in the "bar" part where it was served.
Overall, there are some cool details in the hotel, designwise, but design should be functional, and this one is not.

We booked this 0 star hotel through Expedia
And our priority was a room with balcony and sea view. We paid for the room and were looking forward for a nice and relaxing holiday in Gran Canaria.
It looks like our priorities did change somehow throughout the booking process and we were given the most RUBBISH room possible when we arrived. The room was without any windows, next to a extremely busy, 24/7, dual carriageway. We went to speak with the manager but he didn’t have the courtesy to come and speak with us (RUBBISH customer service). The poor young receptionist was told by the manager that we were given the room we booked (no signs of humanity/courtesy).
We paid for 7 nights but left the awful place after 3 nights as we were unable to sleep during the nights due to the high level of noise from the road.
This is our honest review (from 2 Health Care Professionals). We would never ever recommend this place to anyone, specially if your’e planning a relaxing holiday.
In your reply you say that you're sorry...
Why don't you say anything about the arrogant, unprofessional manager??? Unfortunately you CANNOT defend the undefendable, just accept it and don't play the good guy?
