The hotel was very pleasant, clean, well-maintained, and modern. The entire staff deserves special praise – they were extremely friendly, smiling, helpful, and always quick to respond. The rooms were nicely arranged, tastefully furnished, with a balcony or terrace, and the beds were very comfortable, which contributed greatly to a relaxing stay.
Special praise also goes to the hotel kitchen. Head chef Alberto and his team did an excellent job. The food was always fresh, very tasty, and varied. There was a rich selection of both local and international dishes, excellent salads and appetizers, as well as original and delicious desserts. Every meal was a real pleasure.
Staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience, and I would gladly recommend it to others.

What an excellent hotel. Spotless room with AC and a mini fridge. All staff were incredibly polite and helpful. Breakfast buffet was lovely and there was a lot to choose from, and it offered something new each morning. Great location right by the beach and some great bars and restaurants. A perfect getaway if you don't want to be in a busy area. 5 minutes from the bus stop so you can visit other cities with ease. Great little hotel!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. It is amazing, great rooms with balconys and the service, staff, food and facilities where wonderful. It is located right at the beach front.
We even got to view the suites on the top floor which have spectacular views as well.
Looking forward to returning sime time in the near future.
The locals are very friendly and there is so much for everyome to do.
Highly recommended.

Stayed at the Hotel Lancelot for the weekend.
The rooms are spotless and beds were super comfortable. Appreciated having a mini fridge in the room.
We stayed full board, which is excellent value for money. The food is delicious.
We didn’t use the pool, but the area looked really lovely.
A great experience and can highly recommend.

This is very much a mixed bag.
The best thing about this hotel is the standard and cleanliness of the rooms. Impressive for the price, clean and well maintained. Yes, a few mould spots in the bathroom silicone but no biggie. Special props go to the shower that was powerful and very warm - lovely.
Next, the location is ideal. Close to the centre of town, the bus stop from the airport and right next to the beach. It was also far enough from clubs so that their thumping beats weren't too disruptive.
The gym and pool were a pleasant bonus, even if the pool water was too cold.
The staff were very helpful and polite at all times - with one exception, see below.
Now for the bad news.
The breakfast was distinctly average. Not much fruit with an excess of bread/pastries. Only two cereal options but lots of average ham/chorizo to choose from.
The double bed was, in fact, two single beds pushed together. I understand why hotels do this but its annoying as one person from a couple invariably ends up sleeping on the crack between the beds which is never any fun.
During heavy rain, the access to the gym and pool area got flooded. The tarpaulins fitted to cover them provide great shade during sunshine but there's way too many gaps when it rains.
Finally, on arrival, we took the bus from the airport and got off at Playa del Reducto as we weren't familiar with the area. That's about a 0.5km walk to the hotel.
On the eve of our departure, we asked the guy at reception where we should catch the bus to the airport. He said its a 0.5km walk ftom the hotel with the stop on the right. I asked him the question twice but he was insistent. As this was the same location as when we arrived, we believed him.
But, when we actually walked that 0.5km distance - dragging our suitcase - and caught the bus, we were in for an eye opener. The bus drove towards our hotel and actually stopped 20m outside it on the journey to the airport.
This is totally inexcusable. Tourists can't be expected to know the public transport options in a foreign resort. But I feel locals, especially those working in tourist hotels should be familiar with the public transport options - especially one as important as the local bus to the airport.
I can only think this guy don't want his job and is looking to get fired.
