Great hotel in all aspects. I really do not understand the negative reviews. We stayed all inclusive for a week for a family holiday in half term. I think this hotel appeals to retired folk wanting some time away, families and sports enthusiasts. One of the four pools is lane marked for swimming lengths, one heated (a bit), one for babies and toddlers and another for anything else. Yes some were cold in February, but it was February. The service was excellent, staff friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was very good. I guess about 60% was the same every day with the rest changing daily so I was never bored. Even with the staples there was variety. For example 7 different types of yogurt at breakfast daily. If you want to rent a cycle Lanzarote Bike is based at the hotel and again great staff.

We are currently staying here. Fantastic hotel. Above expectations so far with service, food, staff , room and hotel facilities.
The staff are the most welcoming making every effort to help. Food fantastic and will definitely recommend this hotel. Food and cold and hot drink available all throughout the day and evening. Extensive drinks menu. Free shuttle bus to local areas and everything you need for a lovely stay. Lovely location near to the marina and local supermarket and bus stops. Plenty of taxis also situated nearby Delivering a surprise bottle of champagne and chocolates to our room for my partner's birthday was a great touch. We enjoyed it so much we've already booked a return trip

Just back from a 1 week Prestige all inclusive stay. (weather wasn't great before I start!) BUT the room was brilliant - no complaints. Staff not that friendly tbh and queues at the AI bars. Food was quite good, good variety each night BUT barely warm (my biggest criticism). Fortunately there was 1 microwave in each restaurant which wasn't great in terms of heat capacity but every meal I selected got whacked in that for 5 mins cos I like my food hot. Not many shops, bars, restaurants nearby if you wanted a bit of a change from the hotel bars but a lovely harbour 6 mins walk down the hill (but a bloody steep hill to walk back up - be warned!!). Impersonal hotel in terms of the staff so you need to get chatting to other guests who I feel sure would say the same. Did I enjoy it? - it was a lovely break for sure (who doesn't like a bit of luxury?). Would I return? - I doubt it tbh.

We recently stayed at this all-inclusive hotel for a holiday, and unfortunately the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations.
While the location was nice and the hotel grounds were generally well maintained, several aspects of the stay were disappointing. The food was repetitive and often lukewarm, with limited variety across the restaurants. Despite being advertised as all-inclusive, many items and services came with extra charges, which felt misleading.
Service was inconsistent throughout the stay. Some staff members were friendly and helpful, but others seemed uninterested. The rooms were adequate however you couldn't control the air conditioning and the pillows were not suitable for ongoing back/shoulder issues. When we went to reception to ask for a different pillow, we were advised they only had one type. The rooms didn't come with tea/coffee facilities which meant you had to wait until breakfast, lunch or dinner for a cuppa. The machines in the pool area were switched off outwith certain times. Although you.could.go to the bar however it would have been nice to bre able to help yourself. The fridge in the room wasn't cold, if anything it was warm and water wasn't cold. Although it was a double.room, it was 2 single beds put together but not held together so gap inbetween.
For a hotel marketed as a relaxing, all-inclusive experience, it fell short in terms of value for money.
Overall, this holiday was average at best. With some improvements in food quality, service, and transparency around what is truly included, the hotel could offer a much better experience. As it stands, I wouldn’t choose to return.

Loved our family holiday at Costa Calero. Our ground floor rooms were perfect for family of 4 ,2 Adults & 2 Teenagers and as we were close to the pool we spent time on the sunloungers at our room as well as by the pool. The Bathrooms were very nice and our shower was amazing, bedrooms were spacious and had plenty of wardrobe space and hangers and the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Food was very nice but we did break it up by eating out in the marina a couple of times. We didn't upgrade to premium AI as we felt the drinks available on the standard AI were good enough for us. Staff all work very hard and were very pleasant and we never had to queue for more than a couple of minutes for drinks
