Just back from a 5 night stay at Hotel Baltum. The room was small but clean with house keeping daily. Thank you to the house keeping team for an excellent service. Music from the local bars could be heard in the room even with the windows shut, but managed to sleep ok. Lovely breakfast in Ricco restaurant adjourned to the hotel. They also offer 30% off food for hotel guests. Ate here twice. Booking a table in advance is advisable due to it's popularity.
The rooftop bar was a really nice place to relax. The bar staff were excellent, super friendly and provided a great service.
A more welcoming approach from the hotel reception staff would make guests feel more comfortable.
After reading the reviews before arriving I was a little bit worried but our overall stay was enjoyable. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I was originally planning to leave Albufeira, but after speaking with Denilson, Carolina, Thyainara, and Sukhleen, I decided to stay for two extra nights. They took the time to recommend some fantastic places to visit, eat, and explore, and their suggestions completely changed my experience.
Every one of them was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and professional. They made me feel valued as a guest and went above and beyond to ensure I had the best possible stay. Their local knowledge and willingness to help made all the difference.
The rooms at Hotel Baltum are clean, comfortable, and have everything you need, but it's the amazing reception team that really makes this hotel special. A huge thank you to Denilson, Carolina, Thyainara, and Sukhleen for your outstanding hospitality. I wouldn't have experienced the best of Albufeira without you

Stayed here for a hen do last year and loved it so much so came back on a girls holiday this year! It’s a perfect location if you enjoy the night life and so easy to get to both towns from. Staff are so so helpful, the roof top is gorgeous to sit up at and the views of the beach are amazing from there, they also do amazing cocktails, the Italian outside the hotel that’s part of the hotel is lovely too!
It is very noisy in the rooms from the nightlife as shared by some people but that’s totally to be expected with the location of the hotel!. It’s definitely my go to hotel for albufeira. Love it there. Amazing value for money for the price of the stay!!

The hotel had an extremely good money value ratio, being extremely well-kept localized within the old city, so everything can be done on walking alone. The pool/bar on the fourth floor is very comfortable and with average cost drinks. The main issue was the fact that the rooms were very noisy, with noise from the streets up until 2 am and noise from other rooms since 7 am. Nevertheless, I do recommend it.

Sold a holiday to lie around the pool, get hear and the pool is closed along with the roof top terrace and hot tub. Staff ok but dont go out the way to help. Room was sold with amazing views of the sea and got a brickwall from the side of another building. Would not return.
