Just back from a 5 night stay at Hotel Baltum. The room was small but clean with house keeping daily. Thank you to the house keeping team for an excellent service. Music from the local bars could be heard in the room even with the windows shut, but managed to sleep ok. Lovely breakfast in Ricco restaurant adjourned to the hotel. They also offer 30% off food for hotel guests. Ate here twice. Booking a table in advance is advisable due to it's popularity.
The rooftop bar was a really nice place to relax. The bar staff were excellent, super friendly and provided a great service.
A more welcoming approach from the hotel reception staff would make guests feel more comfortable.
After reading the reviews before arriving I was a little bit worried but our overall stay was enjoyable. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Stayed here for a hen do last year and loved it so much so came back on a girls holiday this year! It’s a perfect location if you enjoy the night life and so easy to get to both towns from. Staff are so so helpful, the roof top is gorgeous to sit up at and the views of the beach are amazing from there, they also do amazing cocktails, the Italian outside the hotel that’s part of the hotel is lovely too!
It is very noisy in the rooms from the nightlife as shared by some people but that’s totally to be expected with the location of the hotel!. It’s definitely my go to hotel for albufeira. Love it there. Amazing value for money for the price of the stay!!

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised on how lovely our little “Boutique Like” Hotel right on the main strip in Albufeira was. We were so impressed.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful with any questions.
There is an awesome rooftop patio with a bar. And Great views from up there as well.
The rooms were spacious and always clean. A great little restaurant is attached to the side. We had breakfast there every morning. Lots of breakfast selections. They also serve dinner there, but we ate dinners elsewhere, most nights.
There are lots of little shops very close to Hotel Baltum. We found an amazing little store just to the right of the hotel entrance that sold wines and ports, and we found several amazing ports. Some for the room some we brought back to Canada.
Prices were quite reasonable for this hotel because of that we are unsure of the quality, but we were pleasantly surprised that the price did not reflect what a great little hotel this is.
In the evenings because of the proximity to the main strip, it could get loud in the later evenings from lots of bars in the area, but not enough to affect our sleep.
We would highly recommend this Hotel if you are ever in Albufeira, Portugal.

We were guests of the hotel off season and were well taken care of as such. The staff did good work. The rooms are quite dated and were uncomfortably humid. This was likely due to condensation from cool temperatures, something the hotel can't control.
The location is good if you like nightlife and loud bars and being close to the beach. This involved guests coming back to rooms at all hours with zero soundproofing in the walls and doors. In addition, the rooftop was closed with no hot tub available...disappointing.
