I never leave reviews, but with this hotel, I feel I need to. Firstly, our flight was delayed and when we eventually arrived at the hotel, we were greeted with a glass of Prosecco, and a bottle of wine in our room with a note, which was a good touch. The breakfast was really good, freshly cooked eggs and bacon, with the rest of the stuff spot on, a special mention to the fresh orange juice machine. The sun loungers and pool were very good, from giving us fresh towels pool side, to finding a space to lounge without the stress of it being busy. The staff were very friendly, from the chefs to the cleaners, we were made to feel appreciated, which added to the relaxation. Our room was spacious and clean, with everything we needed, including an electric stove, my only feedback would be with the terrace room, the lounge area outside was under a palm tree, so we were greeted with bits of the tree each morning, but nothing you couldn’t easily get rid of. I would highly recommend this hotel, and I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at the hotel for a week in May and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The hotel had everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay — a good gym, great breakfast every morning, large rooms with kitchens, and an excellent location within walking distance of the Yumbo Center.
What really stood out was the atmosphere and overall vibe of the place. You can feel the personality of the hotel in every detail — from the design of the rooms and common areas to even the outfits of the staff. It created a fun, welcoming, and relaxing environment throughout the entire stay.
The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and service-oriented. Every request or issue I had was handled quickly and with a smile, and they genuinely made me feel welcome the entire week.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would absolutely stay here again. I’ll definitely be visiting again next year!

My partner and I have just returned from a week at this hotel, and we had a fantastic time.
Check-in was smooth, even though we arrived early, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is spotless, the pools are excellent, and there were always plenty of sun loungers available. It’s refreshing not to be at a place where guests feel the need to wake up at dawn just to reserve a spot!
Our room was clean, spacious, and well equipped, with a massive shower which was a great bonus.
Breakfast was consistently great. Awa and Ahmed at the egg station were always smiling and happy to prepare eggs and omelettes exactly how we liked them, which really added a personal touch.
A special mention also goes to Eugenio at the bar — he was brilliant. The cocktails were delicious and reasonably priced, and the service was always top-notch.
We’ll definitely be returning to Gold by Marina!

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for one week, and it was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room cleaning service was always amazing, everyone was smily and welcoming and never doubtful to help.
In addition, the breakfast buffet was extraordinary. My girlfriend has celiac disease so she can’t have gluten. The staff in the restaurant were very aware of how important the condition is and always helped us get gluten free bread and other food right from the kitchen to avoid cross-contamination. We would like to thank Andrea specifically for her patience with us in the mornings!
The other guests were so nice and respectful, the pool area was always clean, and the overall vibe of the hotel exceeded our expectations! We totally recommend this hotel!
On a side note, the hotel is very very central, walking distance to the beach, and to all big centers.

2nd time staying at this hotel and we will definitely be back again. Spotlessly clean. Staff are amazing - so friendly and professional. Breakfast is excellent. We spent same days on the beach but on days we went to the pool no issue getting bed. highly recommend this hotel. We stayed in a superior room on 7th floor this time with a lovely view. 4th floor last time - also a great view.
