The room was clean, bright and spacious and had a splendid view like most of the hotel areas.
The food was good for us most of the evenings. You should improve your italian evening offer (pizza and pasta were tasteless).
Outside Pool also nice and relaxing.
The kids personal was very friendly.
The one thing I didn't like was that the inside pool was available to kids only for 2 fixed hours, also when the weather outside was not that good.

We were excited to go to this 4 star hotel, but really no value for the money. We had to go to the reception to solve issues witht the room too often: glasses not replaced, dirty glasses replaced, water not replaced. Also, the room was very noisy, the beds are doing a lot of noise, and you can even hear the squeaking of the neighbour’s room bed.
Also, it seems that at dinner, the waiters do not come to everyone to ask if you want something to drink. They also prohibit you from sitting at the windows, claiming it’s reserved for all inclusive clients, which was confirme at reception to be not true.
Moreover, we had food poisoning at the restaurant, which incapacitated us 24hours. The reception did not care about this, and said it’s probably a virus.
Finally, at check out, they added 1 euro for charity without advising us, which I find extremely dishonest. So if you go to this hotel, best to pay close attention to the bill. They removed it when we asked, but still dishonest

Lovely stay at Gloria Palace royal, hopefully these words help:
- taxi from the airport is around 70€
- breakfast is fantastic, plenty of cooked options and the freshly made omelette was a favourite of ours.
- rooms are spacious and overlook the beach, but are starting to look a little dated.
- maid comes everyday if you leave the sign on the door and brings 500ml of still and sparkling water.
- there is no iron or ironing room…this was the biggest annoyance as we had to then pay for the ironing, so 7€ a dress and 5€ a shirt as example can soon add up. So either take your own iron or be prepared to pay. That said, the ironed clothes was returned in 24 hours (but could take 48)!!
- hotel is spotlessly cleaned.
- infinity pool is great and has a water dispenser, so take a refillable bottle, it helps!
- pool towels are provided free of charge which is a good touch (but expected from a nice hotel)
- no shop in the hotel, but a small spar shop is close, otherwise there are some limited vending machines placed around the hotel!
- staff are friendly and helpful!
- evening entertainment is ok, otherwise Puerto Rico is about 7€ in a taxi.
Overall, would recommend but make sure you take an iron!!

On arrival to check in, we were given an upgrade to a very impressive suite. The member of the reception team Adrian was very helpful and went above and beyond.
Restaurant staff were all very friendly and the food was fantastic, shout out to Gonzalas on the grill.
The pools were beautiful and the pool bar food and team were great.
The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond, Eva at the pool bar and piano bar was lovely, remembering our room number and drinks.
Daytime entertainment with the lovely Patryck and Isabel deserves a big shoutout.
Highly recommend this beautiful hotel

We paid £2500 for an all-inclusive package, but unfortunately not everything is actually included. We were surprised to find out that items such as Magnum ice creams, Oreo sandwiches, and certain whisky brands require an extra charge. Nobody informed us about these additional costs during check-in, which was disappointing.
When I went to reception to ask why some things were not included, I was told that a bottle of whisky costing €90 obviously cannot be part of the all-inclusive package because it is expensive. While I understand that premium products may cost more, people do not pay this kind of money for an all-inclusive holiday expecting to pay extra for basic drinks or ice creams afterwards.
Another downside is the entertainment program. It feels very repetitive and limited. Every day it’s basically the same activities like aqua zumba, bingo, and dart games. Evening entertainment is also quite poor and there is not much to do or enjoy.
On the positive side, the rooms are spacious, the beds are clean and comfortable, and the staff in the restaurants and bars are very friendly and helpful.
