Stayed here a week, end of July to beginning August
Our hotel room was the presidential suite, and for the money we paid it is most certainly the biggest room we've ever stayed in. There's much needed air con, a mini fridge, great views and huge beds. Lots of wardrobe space for everyone's requirements. There is only an option for breakfast which is a buffet style and we didnt plan on utliising the whole time, but after they charged us such a low amount for the week (2 adults 2 kids) it was such a great deal.Having just breakfast isnt too bad though as there are copious amounts of varying restaurants just a few minutes walk away.
I would like to point out how friendly and HELPFUL the staff are here, from running to grab us cutlery when we brought food back to the hotel to giving us a breakdown of the excursions we asked for down to the last detail.
A special shout out for Natalia at the front desk for always being warm and welcoming to our whole family.
We chose this area as the 'north' of the island is less touristy, and have just about managed to flesh out the whole week with activities, saying that I think any longer may have been a struggle to entertain the kids.If you dont mind a bus trip and a bit of Hoo-Haa then the rest of the island , especially the south, has alot more activities.
Ooh I forgot to mention the rooftop pools, theres an adult pool which most of the time was empty, a small jacuzzi and kiddies splash pool. Nice views on the rooftop of the port and surrounding areas also.
Thank you, Exe Las Palmas for a wonderful week

Everyone, this hotel is not even a hotel — it is on the level of a cheap motel. The 4-star rating makes absolutely no sense given how terrible it is. The floors and bathroom throughout the hotel are worn down, and the refrigerator is so dirty there was even hair inside it. It is simply a cheap motel. Do not be fooled. For the sake of the development of Spanish tourism, places like this should either be shut down or forced to undergo renovation. Even the windows looked like they were installed in the 1990s. Super dirty. do not go.

This hotel deserves -1 star. Honestly, it’s infected with mold. I booked it through Booking.com and the rooms are nothing like the pictures. As soon as you enter the hotel you can smell the mold, musk and the sewage. It’s extremely poisonous for human health. I initially booked it for 3 nights but I’m leaving early. I have allergy to mold and if you have respiratory issues you might even die in this place. Honestly authorities should do something about this hotel. And it’s so surprising that Booking.com is partnering with this hotel. It’s a total disgrace for 100€+ a night.

We had a good stay at Exe hotel. We paid a small fee to have early check in, chocolates and a fruit basket. It was well worth the nominal fee as we were able to check in at 10:00 in the morning, unpack and enjoy the rest of the day.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They are cheerful and we always received a warm greeting whenever we returned to the hotel.
We did not have any problems with street noise. Our room had no view to speak of , we just faced an old apartment building across the street. Our room was well taken care of and we slept well.
Access to the beach and transit is very handy. It is just a short walk to both. It is lovely to be able to walk on the promenade at the beach where there are many shops and restaurants.
The breakfast was okay. We had it both mornings. I do wish that they had told us that there was an additional charge for breakfast. When we checked in, we were just told what the breakfast hours were but there was no mention of an additional charge for breakfast.
There is a small rooftop pool and hot tub and I imagine that in the peak season it would be very busy. The problem with the pool area is the lack of umbrellas for shade. There was no shade at all and it was too hot and uncomfortable sitting in the sun.
We would stay at Exe again. The service and staff are great, it’s in a good location, the room was comfortable and the price was fair.

Good value for money. One min from beach. Friendly staff. Decent size pool for a city hotel.
