We just returned from an incredible stay at Excellence Playa Mujeres, and I can’t say enough about the amazing service and accommodations. From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless, relaxing, and truly luxurious.
A special shoutout goes to Yeidiel and Alberto, who went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Their attention to detail, kindness, and genuine care made each day feel personalized and special. Whether it was anticipating what we needed before we even asked, offering thoughtful recommendations, or simply greeting us with the warmest smiles, they truly elevated our entire stay.
If you’re staying in the Excellence Club, the Building 8 pool is by far the best spot—the it’s the only excellence pool with a bar. We spent so much time there because the atmosphere, service, and comfort were absolutely unmatched.
The resort itself is stunning—lush grounds, spacious and spotless rooms, delicious food, and endless options to relax or explore. But it was the exceptional service, especially from Yeidiel and Alberto, that truly made this trip unforgettable.
We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend Excellence Playa Mujeres to anyone looking for world-class hospitality and a getaway you’ll be talking about long after you leave.

This is our second time coming to this wonderful resort. The staff has been exceptional and made our stay 100 times better, and more relaxed than we could’ve thought it would be. We came here for our anniversary and they went the extra mile to make it even more special for us. They have been extremely kind and treated us like family. We couldn’t be more appreciative of Josue and Yesse. They have gone above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and like we’ve been long time friends. Caesar also made our stay a whole lot more fun and enjoyable. After a few times going to the Martini Bar, he remembered us, knew our drink choice, and would pour them without asking. The staff is very attentive and was always there for anything we needed. We decided to upgrade to the Excellence Club and it was very much worth it. Due to the staff and especially Josue, Yesse and Caesar, we are definitely going to return to the Excellence Playa Mujeres. If you’re looking for a place to forget about work, decompress, and be stress free, this is the place you want to be. I give my upmost gratitude and thanks to the wonderful staff for making this a perfect vacation. If I could, I’d give them 10 stars.

We love our visits to Excellence playa mujeres. Many thanks to Josue who was our concierge in the cabana today!! He made sure we were well taken care of all day, checking in multiple times. He treated everyone with kindness and made our experience first rate!! Gustavo was our waiter and was also excellent. We had a wonderful day! And many thanks daily to Cesar at the martini bar. We look forward to visiting EPM annually!

We spent our honeymoon at Excellence Playa Mujeres and it truly lived up to its name! From the moment we arrived, Angie at the front desk made us feel welcomed and happily helped with any questions or small issues that came up. Our days relaxing by the pool were incredible thanks to our concierge team, David and Yeudiel, who always made sure we had everything we needed. Yessi and Rubi were amazing servers — our drinks were constantly refreshed and our glasses were never empty!
One highlight was a unique sake tasting that Veronica helped arrange for us. Even though it was an off day, Dania went above and beyond with her knowledge and kindness to make sure we had an authentic, fun tasting experience.
Dining throughout the resort was phenomenal, and at the spa, Zuri and Caro took excellent care of us every time. At checkout, Cassandra made the process unbelievably smooth and stress-free.
The nightly entertainment deserves its own shout out — the magic show, burlesque performance, circus show, and the high-energy Pure Energy show were all outstanding and added something exciting to look forward to every night.
We also highly recommend booking with Seasons Transfers — super smooth and seamless transportation from the airport to the resort and back. And a special thank-you to Gonzalo for setting up an awesome jungle tour excursion that made our trip even more memorable.
Excellence Playa Mujeres gave us an unforgettable honeymoon, and we can’t wait to come back!
