Yet another fantastic stay at this hotel. Loved everything about the hotel. The location is great....very central and near to everything. The food was great from the comprehensive choice of full English breakfasts to fresh fruit and pastries etc and the lovely lunches and great dinners with good selections of drinks. The room was nice and spacious with a good tv and the best and quietist aircon I have known. A great size pool with spacious pool area lots of sun loungers and a great poolside bar. Not having to fight for sun loungers was a bonus.. All the staff were very friendly helpful and courteous. Already booked for another stay for 10 nights in September and can't wait to come back. Only criticism is that their is no luggage storage room or changing room for when you have a late departure and have had to check out of your room at 11am. Other than that I cannot fault the hotel. Thanks for a great stay.

We stayed in Apartment #5 at Playa Palmeras for a week. Overall, we were surprised that TUI has graded this hotel as 4*.
The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The beds were comfortable and the fresh salads each day were lovely.
However, there were several issues that were unexpected
• The curtains in our room were filthy.
• Our apartment was on the side of a busy road. As a light sleeper, the traffic noise made it difficult for me to sleep. However its not the hotel’s fault
• Drinks were served in small plastic cups, and you are required to pay a €1 deposit refunded at checkout.
• There was no entertainment provided during the entire week.
• After checking out, there were no shower facilities despite our flight not being until 7pm.
• There was no proper luggage storage; our cases were left at reception all day.
• The hotel is located on a hill, which may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.
• The shower needs careful attention when in use, as if you leave it running while soaping up, the bathroom can easily flood.
While the staff and some aspects of the stay were positive, the overall experience did not feel in line with a 4* rating. We stayed in Apartment #5 at Playa Palmeras for a week. Overall, we were surprised that TUI has graded this hotel as 4*.

Just got back from our first holiday in over 2 years. Chose all inclusive, as the total deal with flights was good.
Having read recent reviews, most possibly from people who where there at the same time as us, we thought best, also to leave a review.
144 apartments circle the pool area, like most hotels in the canary islands, with the bar and restaurant located at one end. Plenty of sun loungers and a pool attendant.
Yes, we agree, the rooms could do with an upgrade. The bathroom door, being glass with no close too, or even a lock. Not sure if this applies to all the rooms.
Breakfast 8am - 10am
Lunch 1pm-2.30pm
Dinner 7pm - 9pm
The food was very good. A good selection, and piping hot, help yourself buffet style. Plenty of bread. Plus Lots of salad, rice and pasta dishes and lots more.
Go to the hatch for something cooked on the hot plate, including omelette for breakfast and fish for lunch or dinner. Coffee, tea, soft drinks including coca cola, Fanta lemon, beer, wine or water.
A lovely lad, named Felipe on the bar. You hire your plastic glass for €1 and keep it with you. They pour your drink in a clean one and take yours to wash. Just keep that with you, to save on having to be collected and tidied up.
San Miguel 🍺, White, red and rose 🍷 on tap. Plus the usual spirits. Coca cola, Sprite and lemon Fanta soft drinks. Help yourself Bar snacks available all day. Bar closes at 11pm.
Entertainment was cool. Sam would put any football on the TV for anyone interested. Quizs, games and Karaoke most nights. Live Entertainment 1 or 2 other nights.
Located near the main strip of Puerto del Carmen. Turn left out of the hotel and head down. There is a supermarket on the left halfway down, a few bars and a restaurant on the right, before you reach the main strip and beach. If you arrive late and are hungry, head down and the restaurant, Nicos, will serve you burgers, pizzas or something else from the main menu. But plenty of bars and restaurants on the front.
We would happily stay here again, but during school term time. Not in August.

Myself and my parents stayed here in 2023! The location was perfect! The food choices were amazing! The restaurant was clean and tidy! The rooms were neat and spotless! Very comfortable stay!

Great location but sadly the hotel is aged and in need of some repair and decoration. Food was good and had a reasonable variety. Staff were generally pleasant but some need a lesson in customer services. Sam did his best to entertain people but without him there was very little else to do and the outside pool bar area was uncomfortable with plastic seating. We were All Inclusive and drinks were plentiful but cheap local stuff and we didn't like the small plastic cup idea or the €1 deposit for them. Plenty of sun loungers and they are well spread out around a decent pool area. More of a 2 star hotel but if decorated an slightly modernised it would rate as the advertised 3 star hotel. We just needed to relax and the hotel served this purpose but highly unlikely we'd return again.
