The view and balcony are nice, and the area outside the hotel is fine. There is also a very friendly orange cat we called Casperina (turnes out to be a girl), which was honestly one of the few positives.
Unfortunately, the inside of the hotel is extremely outdated, empty, and depressing. Room 605 is in poor condition, with visible moisture damage, cracks in the walls, worn tiles, and broken grout. Towels placed along doors to stop water from coming in say a lot about the overall standard.
Although marketed as an apartment, the kitchen is almost unusable due to very limited equipment. I would honestly rather have had 20 sqm less and a normal hotel room.
The beds are terrible. Despite clean sheets, the mattresses are yellow and heavily stained, which feels unhygienic. We feel very uncomfortable staying in the room for more than an hour and try to avoid it. This is day 8, and I have mostly been complaining to my partner.
The ceiling fans feel unsafe, the lighting is chaotic, and although the TV has many channels, most are dubbed in Spanish or German, so we only used the TV radio. Using the luggage scale costs 2 euros, and reviews mention paid Wi-Fi (not tested).
The elevator is extremely scary, even for my 21-year-old partner. Staff are very kind and speak decent English, which we appreciate, but we have not dared to eat here.
Location is okay, with 6–7 restaurants within a 30-minute walk, but anything else requires transport. Parking is free, but very limited in the evenings. Other reviews confirm we are far from alone, and the online photos hide many of these issues.
Overall, a nice view and friendly staff do not make up for a hotel that feels unhygienic and misleading. Not recommended.

It's very hard to fault this hotel for the price you pay. Our room was spacious, clean and well decorated. It was like walking into a showroom.
The food is OK, something for everyone, every day. Always hot, with a nice cold buffet selection too. Dinner was varied, but breakfast a little repetitive.
The pool was great, a few tiles missing, but nothing I'm sure they won't fix over the winter. The grounds were Immaculate and was nice seeing the gardeners take care over their work on a daily basis.
The DJ/lifeguard needs a few lessons in decorum and grace. His music choices were not age appropriate and far too loud. He was clearly on a power trip.
A nice little shop on site, and also gym, sauna and the usual facilities you'd expect.
Entertainment was generally OK- 2 days off and one day nothing happened for the children despite being advertised. Karaoke was fun to watch, and Babylon band were very good.
I'm giving 5 stars because of the price you pay for what you get.

Firstly I had my doubts about this hotel with what I was reading online, but this hotel is CLEAN. My room was immaculate the whole site in fact was clean, it smelt clean, the pool was clean. The staff - friendly. Lovely to talk to. Couldn’t do more for you. The views - luxury - very beautiful, the rooms are very Spanish but what do you expect your coming to Gran Canaria it’s part of the experience. The food - it’s not all that. You get what you get it’s like all inclusive you know what your expecting, theres an onsite shop you can get everything you need a washing madhing for 5 euros a wash, and a Spa. Theres a lovely Cat thats here, now what I think it really lovely is that the hotel actually waters and feeds it, there’s a water bowl by the door and they put biscuits out for her ( I think it’s a her) she’s definitely a stay! But she looks well fed! Shes been in every night! But there’s a reason she keeps coming back! Glad there not shooing her out! Love this for the hotel! Shows some good in the world ❤️❤️❤️ on a side note there’s a massive hill to get to the shops about ten mins away, and some restaurants, the restaurants there are good, everywhere is about 12 euros in a taxi and a spar down the road. 10/10 from me. Named the stray Maxine as I have a ginge at home called max and she reminded me of him x

While the staff were kind and the outside areas — including the view, garden, and pool — were genuinely beautiful, our experience inside the apartment was unacceptable.
The room was dirty on arrival, the curtains were stained, and at one point a plant was literally growing up through the bathroom drain. The entire place was crawling with ants, and we even came across a cockroach.
For a property that invests so much in its exterior and service, the state of the room was shocking. Basic cleanliness and proper maintenance were clearly lacking.

Utterly awful. The rooms are nasty, the bathroom is grim with most things damaged or broken, the decor is from the 80s, the fridge is noisy, you can hear people stomping above you, the air con is inbuilt into the ceiling and probably never been cleaned, we had to turn it off as it was affecting my sons asthma so badly.
The pool is absolutely freezing and I wouldn't let my boy in it, definitely not heated.
The food is dismal, €18 per adult and you pay as you sit down which is super untrustworthy. We've had to find somewhere else and cancel due to it being so bad.
Avoid this place. As someone else said, the best view is in reception, the 2nd best view is in the rear view mirror.
