Beautiful resort with great amenities. Perfect swimming pools, a good restaurant (cafeteria), and a lovely beach. It's a great base for exploring the surrounding area. The staff is also super friendly.
However, minus one star for the rooms. If you're a bit unlucky with your neighbors, you will experience constant noise disturbance. Barking dogs, people talking on balconies late into the night, and you can hear every single footstep from the neighbors upstairs and next to you. It honestly felt like our neighbors were remodeling their entire living room every single night, and the kids running a marathon. For this price, I would expect a bit better.
PS: management dealt with our complaints and reached out on a regular base. Good customer service!

This is a truly beautiful place. It feels like walking through a park. The views of the ocean from here are simply breathtaking.
The entire complex is very clean and well-maintained. We rented a house, and everything was perfect. It really felt like coming to your own countryside home to relax.
The house has everything you need: a stove, oven, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, and refrigerator. Everything was clean. Bed linens and trash were taken care of every other day.
There are many cafés and restaurants nearby for those who prefer not to cook. Another big plus is the number of supermarkets close by (Intermarché, Lidl, Aldi) with a good selection of products - except for tomatoes. It felt like tomatoes were “worth their weight in gold” there: either too green or simply unavailable. So one of our missions while traveling in southern Portugal was to find ripe tomatoes 🙂
The staff is friendly and welcoming.
Our family was very happy with the stay. We will definitely come back!

Great for family vacation, rooms are a bit old but are in the process of being renovated, great pool area with solides for Kids. Small playground. Nice Garden area.

Amazing place! Highly recommend!! The setting is so beautiful! The resort is clean and very well maintained and the food was so yummy! Great service from everyone!! Nice vibe in the evenings at the restaurant with live entertainment :)

My vacation at alfagar village was amazing!
De room i got was next to the bar/bingo/restaurant and a bit noisy but was perfect for me.
The service was even better I got picked up for check out and they bring me to airport.
And when I lost my wallet they did everything to help and bring my wallet to the airport.
The park was fully open even in the low season was there an animation team to do exercise and quite and bingo!
The location of the village was quite good, right next to the beach and near the town
