It was so nice to be well accommodated on our arrival, staff were amazingly friendly.
Our stay at this place was exactly what we needed. The apartment was spacious with adequate kitchen , dining area , living room , bathroom and balcony. Low noise area , great views and sunrise ( the room faced East). Literally steps away from central square, restaurants , beach and more.
The staff are more than helpful for any needs you may have.
If you want a complete experience like home but still enjoy everything the Old Town Albufeira has to offer this should be your place to stay.

we loved staying here - the room was lovely with a beautiful bathroom, kept extremely clean. the beds were comfy and the air con was great.
the sofa bed wasn’t big enough for two and wasn’t that comfortable, and we found that the music from the pool was extremely loud in our room. however, this is to be expected when visiting a party town.
we also had an unfortunate experience with the night manager where he was quite inappropriate with a member of our group, kissing her on the lips without her consent.
the rest of the staff were absolutely lovely and catered to our every need.
it is in a great location, and is it easy to uber anywhere or walk to the beach or into old town. we would definitely stay here again, but steering clear of the night manager.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. Our room was infested with ants, not just a few, but well over 100. We spent the entire night killing ants and trying to keep them off our belongings. When we reported the issue, the cleaning staff came in and sprayed something, leaving a trail of dead ants all over the floor without cleaning them up.
To make matters worse, instead of taking the issue seriously, the cleaning lady attempted to downplay the situation and even said “it’s only one ant”, despite the fact that there were clearly many. Management also dismissed our concerns, saying it was just “a few ants.” The following day, ants were still crawling around the room, proving nothing had been properly resolved.
This hotel is not clean, the staff was unhelpful and dismissive, and the level of hygiene is unacceptable. I strongly advise against staying here. Don’t waste your money.

We had an amazing stay at Alfagar Cerro Malpique! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spotlessly clean the hotel is, with attention to detail in every corner. The staff were all incredibly friendly, and Abraham in particular made our stay even more enjoyable. His English is excellent, and he was always there to help with any questions or requests.
The rooms are fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, from drinking glasses, plates, and cutlery, to extra pillows and blankets for added comfort. It was nice having that little touch of home, especially with the small kitchenette, which made it easy to prepare simple meals. The rooms are also spacious and well-maintained, giving us plenty of room to relax and unwind.
One of the highlights of this hotel is the amazing views. From our room, we had stunning sea views, and being located up on the hill gives you a peaceful, serene atmosphere while still being close to the action of Albufeira. The location was perfect, with the Old Town and beach just a short walk away, but far enough from the crowds to enjoy some quiet time.
The pool area is also fantastic. It’s well-maintained and spacious, with plenty of sunbeds to go around. The pool bar, with the friendly lady serving drinks, added a really nice touch to the whole experience—always welcoming and attentive.
One of the best parts of staying here was the overall warmth and hospitality of the entire staff. From the reception to housekeeping, everyone was so nice and always ready to assist with a smile.
If you're looking for a clean, quiet, and well-located hotel with amazing views, Alfagar Cerro Malpique is the place to be. We definitely plan on returning!

We stayed here for five nights in May and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The two-bedroom apartments are spacious and well-equipped, we loved the large overhead shower. Nice small balcony with a great view.
The pool area was great, plenty of sun loungers. The pool isn’t heated but nice and refreshing.
The location is ideal, just a short walk down to the old town, where you’ll find plenty of bars, restaurants, shops, and the beach. It’s far enough from the busy centre to feel peaceful and quiet in the evenings. Note it’s quite a steep 10 min walk up stairs from the town.
