I haven’t personally stayed at the hotel, but some friends of mine – a retired English couple – invited me to lunch at the buffet.
Personally, I absolutely loved the hotel. We had a lovely meal and the service from all the staff – from reception to the waiters and chefs – was professional, attentive, very polite and the place was spotlessly clean.

They come to Lanzarote every year and this was the first time they hadn’t stayed in the centre of Puerto del Carmen. They chose this hotel because it’s situated right at what you might call the end of Puerto del Carmen and the start of Matagorda.
As they’d hoped, it’s a location that combines all the advantages of Puerto del Carmen in terms of amenities, without its drawbacks (noise, parking problems, dirt, etc.), alongside the tranquillity and authenticity of Matagorda. What’s more, they discovered that Matagorda is becoming the new trendy spot in Lanzarote.
In short, it’s a luxury hotel with the wonderful Los Pocillos beach right on its doorstep, peaceful, with all the amenities one could wish for (swimming pool, spa, etc.) and offering outstanding standards of quality and service in an unbeatable location on the island.

Wow! Hipotels, what a wonderful short stay. I highly recommend. Such a clean, calm, friendly hotel. The staff went above and beyond at all times and nothing was too much. Whilst here, we stayed in room 268 - absolutely beautiful. My friend also had her birthday whilst here and the staff took it upon themselves to surprise her with a special table for birthday breakfast, including champagne and a candle, to top this they also left a box of biscuits in our room as a gift- Thank you! The surrounding area is picturesque and quiet- just outside of the main area of puerto del Carmen, but only a short taxi ride away. Entertainment is great and plenty of options throughout the day. If you’re looking to come to Lanzarote then this is the place to stay. We are sad we had to leave but will definitely be returning. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Hipotels La Geria for a perfect, relaxing stay.

Quiet relaxing and clean hotel with friendly staff. Well maintained pool area with plenty of sun loungers. Only 8 minutes to / from airport.Large beach at your doorstep and the room balcony views overlooking the pool area and beach are great. Breakfast was good each morning and we ate out in the evening.There are plenty of nice resteraunts close to the hotel and you are just 20 minute walk away from centre of PDC.

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel on the beach front. The staff were very welcoming and the hotel was clean and modern. The food was great and hospitality exceeded my expectations. I was only there for 5 nights but honestly I wish I had booked a little longer. I had an amazing massage at h spa too which was very affordable. All round great value for money. I would highly recommended. Thank you to all the staff for a pleasant stay :)

Firstly I’d like to say how pleasant the reception staff were when we arrived, they couldn’t do enough to help and direct you to your room, the staff in the restaurant and pool bar area were very helpful too, the hotel and rooms were very clean and we didn’t see any cockroaches at all !!! . We only had B&B but the breakfast in the restaurant was amazing there was so much to choose from and they even made fresh omelettes in front of you, the pool was lovely and clean and just across the road is a huge beach and lovely clear blue sea to swim in. We had a birthday while we were on holiday and the gave us a champagne breakfast on the house and a few little birthday goodies left in our room, what a wonderful thought from them, we’ll definitely book again, Many thanks to Hiphotels👍.
