Our stay at Sentido Caribbean World Soma Bay was much more than a holiday—it became one of the most important moments of our lives. The resort is beautiful, with a stunning beach, crystal-clear waters, excellent food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Throughout our stay, the staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. What made this experience truly unforgettable was the incredible support we received in organizing my marriage proposal on the beach at sunset. Every detail was carefully arranged: the candles, the flowers, the romantic setup, and the wonderful atmosphere that turned a dream into reality. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Mr. Amgad, Head of the Food & Beverage Department. His professionalism, dedication, kindness, and attention to detail played a major role in making this moment so special. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and we are sincerely grateful for his support. On that beautiful beach, with the Red Sea in the background and the sun setting on the horizon, I asked the most important question of my life. And she said “YES”. It was a magical moment that we will cherish forever, and Sentido Caribbean World Soma Bay will always hold a special place in our hearts because it is where our journey toward marriage began. Thank you to Mr. Amgad and the entire team for creating memories that will last a lifetime. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for exceptional service, a beautiful location, and truly unforgettable experiences. We cannot wait to return.

I had the opportunity to stay in this hotel for the second time. There are many good and bad things. Pros: The beach is beautiful and the water is perfect, although in some places it is like silt at the bottom. The workers are okay, I would especially praise Ahmed, who is always there with a smile on his face, who is there to chat with you and makes you feel welcome. The rooms are big enough (my family and I stayed in 2 double rooms, there are 4 of us). The rooms are clean, but there may be problems with the shower and toilet. Rooms are cleaned every day. The rooms are cleaned in the afternoon, and almost always at a different time so you never know when you can go back to your room. Towels can be left unchanged. Alcohol and cocktails are terrible and you can see that the alcohol is cheap, the beer is watery. The food is nothing special and often what was for dinner is waiting for you the next day for lunch. Absolutely no variety and a very big drop in food quality compared to 4 years ago when I was here. The animation team is nothing special, but i understand them. The only thing is that they are very annoying and they annoy you while you are on the sunbeds and want peace and quiet. Especially the diving center workers or other workers who want to sell you spa treatments, quad rides, camel rides, horse rides... I would not recommend if you want peace and rest. The evening show, in addition to magicians, dervishes, belly dancers and other dancers, that were amazing, involves choosing people from the audience who will animate the others while the animators clap on the side. I find it very boring and done carelessly. Some people like those contests, pageant for miss. and mr. hotel, but I personally don't. There is a late checkout option, but they ask for an extra payment of 30 e per person to eat. According to European standards, this is 3 stars. I wouldn't come back here a third time, but if they fix these things, they really would be a great 5 star hotel. P. S. I may be stating the details a bit, but this is my honest opinion

Amazing animation team, beautiful beach, relaxing atmosphere. Great food would make us return again and again We stayed at Caribbean World Resort with my daughter and came away with very positive memories. I’ll start with one of the hotel’s strengths. The food offered a good variety of dishes, and there was always something to choose from. However, there are also reasons why this hotel will stay in my memory. The atmosphere here is very special. It doesn’t feel like a typical hotel; instead, it feels more like walking around the central square of a small resort town. The grounds are well maintained, clean, and pleasant to explore. There is plenty for children to do, and the sea is absolutely wonderful. The entrance into the water is perfect, the beach is beautiful, and the sea itself is one of the best I have experienced in Egypt. I would especially like to mention the animation team. Without exaggeration, this is the best animation team I have ever seen. They create the spirit of this place. Youssef and Karim, in particular, made my days brighter and constantly brought positive energy to our vacation. Honestly, if I ever return to this hotel, it will be largely because of the animation team.

At the Sentido Caribbean World Soma Bay Hotel, this year, from June 12 to June 23, I spent ten wonderful days. It was my fourth visit. The hotel is exceptional—beautiful, warm, with a crystal-clear sea and perfect for relaxation. This year, I was once again delighted by the beauty of the hotel and especially by the wonderful atmosphere and the magical hands of Mona, the beautician. Without her professional explanations, warm smile, and outstanding treatments, my stay would not have been the same. Mona is the best advertisement for the beauty salon because her care and dedication can truly be seen in the results. The treatment is painless, and facial contouring was exactly what I needed and what fully met my expectations. I left the salon extremely satisfied, and when I returned, everyone told me that I looked younger than before I had gone. That says everything about the quality of her work. If you are looking for peace, beauty, an exceptional atmosphere, and excellent service, don't miss this hotel. And while you're there, be sure to look for Mona in the beauty salon. Besides giving your body a chance to relax, you'll also leave with a beautiful, rejuvenated face. All praise to the hotel and special thanks to the wonderful Mona!

One of the best hotels in Hurghada in terms of cleanliness and location. 👌🏻 The aqua park was excellent and perfect for both adults and children. The entire hotel team was absolutely amazing, very friendly, and extremely helpful. A special thanks to Mr. Mina, the Reservations Manager, for his great cooperation, attention, and for always being so helpful. I would also like to thank Mr. Abdel Rahim at the reception, who always did his best to provide us with everything we needed and make sure we were comfortable. Honestly, it was an excellent stay. The service and care from the entire team made our experience even more enjoyable and relaxing. ❤️ Definitely an experience worth repeating, and I highly recommend this hotel. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our stay was not unpleasant, but there are several things that need improvement. Positive points: The staff are incredibly kind and always do their best to help, even if the waiting time can sometimes be quite long. The hotel is nice and generally well maintained. The swimming pool is very pleasant, and the water park is great for children. The restaurants outside the main building are excellent and serve very good food. Negative points: The main self-service restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, needs improvement. The food is very repetitive from one day to the next, and the quality of some dishes could be much better. The beach is disappointing for a hotel of this standard. The difference between the Adults Only beach and the family beach is very clear: on one side, comfortable wooden sunbeds with mattresses; on the other, old plastic sunbeds, some of them torn and damaged (see photos). If you are choosing this hotel for diving, please note that the dive center has been permanently closed since July 31. Finally, seeing horses tied up all day in the sun, with every rib visible, just to entertain tourists, raises a real question about ethics and animal welfare. At a time when animal welfare is becoming more important around the world, this kind of practice should no longer exist in a hotel of this category (see photos). To sum up, I do not blame this hotel, but several things need to be improved. For the same price, or even less, you can find hotels in the same area with much better service and overall quality.

⭐ Very disappointing experience – far below what I expected from Mövenpick Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and, honestly, nowhere near the standard I would expect from a Mövenpick property. First of all, I specifically requested a room with one double bed, but when we arrived, we were given a room with two separate beds. This should have been a basic request to respect, or at the very least, the hotel should have informed us beforehand. Another very unpleasant aspect was the constant attitude of the staff regarding tips. We were repeatedly approached or made to feel that tips were expected. Tipping should be a choice, not something guests feel pressured into doing throughout their stay. What was even more frustrating was the situation at the reception when purchasing small items. The staff refused to give back 1–2 dollars in change. It is not about the amount of money; it is about the principle and the way a paying guest is treated.The prices inside the resort are also ridiculously inflated. For example, I bought Antinal from a pharmacy outside the resort for around $5, while the same product inside the resort was being sold for approximately $20. A four-times-higher price is simply excessive. The spa staff were extremely pushy as well. They repeatedly insisted that we should go to the spa and use their services. Instead of simply informing guests about what they offer and allowing them to decide, they made us feel pressured and uncomfortable. When you are on holiday, you should be able to relax without constantly being approached and persuaded to spend more money. Unfortunately, the food was also very disappointing. The taste was poor, and overall the quality of the food did not meet the expectations I would have for a resort of this category.However, the most serious and unacceptable issue happened at the end of holiday.We had the ckeck-out at 12:00 and the flight was at 00:00.We could not get late check-out and our bracelet were cut off right away,so you could not get any water or food for free. BUT THE BIG PROBLEM was with our luggage. At the end of our stay, the hotel staff mixed up our luggage and actually gave my bag to another person and almost lost the flight because of that. This is absolutely unacceptable. A guest's personal belongings should be handled with the highest level of care and responsibility. Giving someone's luggage to another guest is a serious failure and completely undermines trust in the hotel's procedures. However, at least after the luggage mistake they fixed the problem and apologized and invited us to lunch.

I don't usually leave reviews but I would like to thank everyone for the great stay. We have been coming to this resort for the past three years and have a great time every stay. From Mr. Mena and Merna in the reception area to all the staff, people were very hospitable. Beshoy at the Soma Bar is always attentive to what everyone needs. Fady was exceptional in housekeeping, keeping our rooms stocked with everything we need. Nader in the Italian restaurant always had a smile on his face, making the day a lot more joyous for the entire group. If I had one thought on improvement, I would say that the waiting staff in the main restaurant needs to be a little more friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a great stay, thanks to the great management of Mr. Mohamed Farouk, the general manager, and the food & beverage manager, Mr. Jean. Thank you so much for all the time and care you put into making our stay a memorable one. We hope to come back soon.

We had another absolutely wonderful stay at the Sheraton Soma Bay and couldn't have asked for a better vacation. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff made us feel at home. A special thank you to Ehab, who took a good care of us throughout our stay and ensured everything was perfect from start to finish. Room was spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally well maintained. It was spotless every day thanks to the outstanding work of Sayed from housekeeping, whose attention to detail and dedication ensured everything was always fresh, clean, and beautifully presented At the restaurant, Salam worked tirelessly day and night, always greeting guests with a warm smile and making everyone feel genuinely welcome. The variety of food was excellent, with a wide selection of fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared dishes every day. The hotel and its facilities were impeccably clean, and the crystal-clear, sparkling water made the beach a true paradise. The snorkeling jettly was an added highlight, providing easy access to the beautiful coral reef and making every snorkeling trip even more exciting. A big thank you as well to all the amazing staff at the beach and the bar, whose friendliness and professionalism made every day even more enjoyable. The wonderful animation team also deserves special recognition for their energy, enthusiasm, and the fun activities they organized, creating a fantastic atmosphere for guests of all ages. I had a wonderful 7-night stay at Sheraton Soma Bay Resort, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The resort offers a perfect blend of comfort, relaxation, and outstanding hospitality in a stunning beachfront setting. The food was delicious, with a great variety of fresh international and local dishes. We had a wonderful holiday at Sheraton Soma Bay Resort and left with many beautiful memories. The hotel is elegant, clean, and very well maintained, with a lovely atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the common areas are well kept, and the beach is beautiful. The sea is amazing, and the resort is a great choice for families with children. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. The food was varied and the overall service was at the level we would expect from a 5 star hotel. We especially enjoyed the beach and the pool(but the big pool need a little bit more attention because the whater is durty).The children had a great time at the Soma Splash Aquapark while we were able to relax and enjoy our holiday. Sheraton Soma Bay was a great choice for our family vacation in Egypt. We highly recommend this hotel to families looking for a beautiful resort, good service, a relaxing atmosphere, and a wonderful beach. We would definitely come back! ❤️

We have visited the beautiful Sheraton hotel in Soma Bay, Egypt as a group of 7 - two families in August 2026. Our first impression was how amazing the main hall is and the overview of the beach and sea. The hotel is awesome and huge - 3 floors and something like 300 rooms. We were warmly welcomed and got beautiful rooms on the middle floor, but they were a bit too small for families with children. We have changed the rooms for marvellous and bigger ones thanks to amazing Ms Noha Kamel, who approached us during breakfast to ask about our impressions and if we need anything. She was both very kind and accessible and also very proactive. True gem in this hotel! We really liked the hotel and services there. The food was excellent in both quality and variety. The chefs Sherif and Fares were so hospitable and kind to help with some additional foods and beverages when the kinds had sensitive stomach. Also, some people in the restaurant made our stay memorable: Mr El Sayed made every breakfast even more enjoyable by bringing coffee/tee that we drink the moment he saw us entering the restaurant. That was truly wow in our eyes. Fouad from the beach bar was charming and made great cocktails. Our room-keeper, Mr Abdel Hamid was also very kind and approachable, and our rooms were perfectly clean and tidy. And these are just a few of the staff members that we remembered by name. Our impression is that everybody is so cheerful and smiling all the time, that it really feels like you’re in paradise. The beach and the sea is truly amazing. Sandy beach on one side, coral reefs on the other side of the hotel, so one can enjoy swimming and snorkelling and not go anywhere from the hotel. And fish are so great in the Red Sea. And you can walk along the beach all the way to Soma Bay Marina. The sun umbrellas are renovated, and they are thick and wide. Perfect to protect you from the sun. There were some things that can be worked on… The first thing is that animation is pretty weak - one would expect more, but all the reviews that we read before coming prepared us in a way. Maybe the weakest of all the hotels that I have visited in Soma Bay: Palm Royal, Sheraton and Caribbean… Shows in the evenings are almost non-existent, as well as beach animation for kids. I can’t say anything about the pool animation, as we never really went to pools. Also for us, one of the things, I think, is the reception. The level of english is not on the same/closely the same level among all the receptionists, so some simple request took me 2-3 calls and finally personal coming to reception to get it. But everybody was always so kind that one could easily get over it. Also, only one a la carte restaurant seems to be too few when the full season is, which is when we were there. There is only one, Italian, and they don’t make pizzas there. Kids were a bit disappointed. In the evenings, the main restaurant is overcrowded and you have to queue for the table if you don’t want to sit outside which is really hot in August. But again, the staff are trying their best to find and arrange table for you very quickly. We know that there is the Seaview restaurant, that will be opened in October and one steak house planned for next year, which is great. There is also one thing that I can’t explain: each day when you go to the beach or pool area to get the clean towels, even though you have the towel cards, you additionally have to tell the room number. Maybe it is something connected with the thefts that happened in the past, but this is the first time since I started visiting Hurghada that I have to do this each day... Lastly, maybe one could think about is the ice-cream at the beach that is available e.g. from 10am to 5pm. This would be amazing for both kids and adults. All in all, we consider this vacation to be one of the best ones so far, and we are looking forward to visit this beautiful hotel again, both for the hotel itself, and also for the amazing people who work there and really make a difference when it comes to your stay.
