Excellent service and clean environment. It is a adults only resort with open bars throughout the resort. They have dining options as well as different themes each day. The staff is very friendly and happy to help guests. They also provide excursion information if you would like to try them. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Writing this review for my parents bc they don’t know how to use technology. They loved their trip! This is their 2nd year at this resort and will continue to come again and again. What a perfect getaway! Alexander at the front desk lobby was so amazing and helpful! Nelson at the bar was phenomenal. Mileny and the animation crew was so great to watch. My mom has some health issues and my dad said that they were treated exceptionally every year they went. The restaurants and a la carts were top notch. An amazing vacation for them!

I stayed here with a friend for five nights, and the experience was “almost good” but disappointing. The food was fine but very bland and repetitive. Pro tip: find the coffee espresso machines early and walk down the beach to the sister resort because their buffet has more selection. 3/10 for food. The pool and beach chair situation is frustrating. Guests wake up around 6am to reserve chairs for the entire day, so if you don’t go early, you’re out of luck. There simply aren’t enough chairs, which defeats the purpose of a resort. On top of that, towels were often unavailable, we waited up to an hour for clean ones, which shouldn’t be an issue at all. On the beach, you’re constantly approached by vendors (including some affiliated with the resort), which gets tiring when you’re just trying to relax. The alcohol packages are interesting. With the basic package, you’re served well-grade alcohol. Upgrading helps, but even after several drinks, it was surprisingly hard to feel much of anything. Overall, the resort is decent for the price point but if your budget allows, I’d recommend paying more for a better experience.

The 5 Stars is due to the amazing staff. Louis made us feel beyond welcomed, and safe through out our stay. I noticed he would go out of his way for several guests. Always smiling and provided the BEST service! We will never forget him! Emilio was so entertaining and a fabulous bartender! Pensio was another great bartender! Only because of them would I consider going back! Top Notch!

We stayed at Punta Cana Princess for a week. While the resort grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful, our overall experience was disappointing. Unfortunately, the food quality did not meet our expectations. The buffet selection was very similar across all restaurants (including the sister resort), and we found it difficult to find fresh and enjoyable meals. The quality of meat and fish was especially disappointing, so I mostly ate salads and fruit during our stay. Fruit was good, desserts were okay, but overall food quality could be improved. We also visited several à la carte restaurants: Mexican (Steakhouse), Italian, Mediterranean, and Swiss Fondue. The Swiss fondue was the best option for us, although portions were small and side dishes were limited. The other restaurants, however, did not stand out in terms of food quality. Additionally, my husband experienced stomach issues during our stay, so we would recommend guests to be cautious with food and drinks, especially beverages with ice. Another thing worth mentioning is the room design. The bathroom and shower have glass doors, which look modern but offer very little privacy. Even for a couple, this can feel uncomfortable. Overall, the resort has a beautiful atmosphere and great staff, but food quality and room privacy are areas that definitely need improvement. We hope this feedback helps management enhance the guest experience in the future.

The hotel has a very beautiful territory, the nature is stunning and it’s a wonderful place for walking and relaxing. We also enjoyed the food and the overall atmosphere. However, there were several downsides. The room was very humid and had a musty smell, and unfortunately many pieces of furniture had visible mold. Because there are no mosquito screens on the windows, it’s impossible to open them for fresh air without letting insects inside. The rooms clearly need renovation, and the photos online are quite misleading. We also experienced issues with the service. Since guests cannot make tea or coffee themselves, you have to ask the staff to bring it. At the El Gaucho Restaurant, where we had breakfast and lunch, it was very difficult to get any drinks. Even after reminding the staff three times, nothing was brought, which was quite disappointing. This problem could easily be solved by simply providing hot water, tea, and coffee for self-service. Overall, the hotel looks beautiful and has a pleasant design. If the rooms were renovated and the service improved, we would consider coming back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. The service was consistently friendly, professional, and attentive without being overwhelming. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Housekeeping did a great job every day. The food exceeded our expectations — there was a great variety, everything was fresh, and the à la carte restaurants were especially impressive. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well kept, with plenty of space to relax. The beach and pool areas were clean and enjoyable, and there were always activities available for those who wanted entertainment. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for the experience it provides. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Highly recommended!

Cannot fault anything about this hotel, the staff, entertainment or food. Just came back from my honeymoon and we had the best time. The rooms and grounds are clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Food wise, we were impressed with all restaurants and the buffet and cannot say we had one bad meal. Entertainment staff were fantastic too. Thank you for making our honeymoon a memorable one! We will be back!!

Just got home last Thursday and cannot say enough good things about the Bávaro Princess! We stayed in a villa, which was roomy and comfortable. The beach is magnificent, the people are great, the food was delicious. The big pool was so much fun with pool games, including kayak races in the pool. The swim up bar was fantastic with great bartenders. The best part? … it’s all-inclusive! Came home to NY cold weather, so I miss it even more. The weather was perfect there❣️

My daughter and I are having a wonderful experience at this all inclusive hotel. The staff at this hotel have been absolutely wonderful. The ladies and gentlemen who work in the buffet and resteraunts have been outstanding. There is more than enough choices of good quality food. The grounds are impeccably kept with an abundant amount of wildlife.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Majestic Colonial and it was the best decision we could have made. We had the most wonderful time and wish our trip was longer than 10 days. Every single staff member we encountered was amazing and made our trip so memorable. The entertainment team was a true highlight: Panda, Honey, Hot Chocolate, Francis, and everyone else made every day so enjoyable and were so energetic that it was hard to not want to jump into their activities. They really were a bright spot of our honeymoon and will be part of our lasting memories. The bartenders were also incredible, so engaging, talented, and creative. We loved talking to them and watching them work, and when we asked for them to create their drink special for us, they absolutely delivered. The food at the resort was delicious. I loved eating the Dominican food that was at the buffet, it truly opened my eyes to new flavors and tastes that I want to recreate at home. The food can sometimes be hit or miss at resorts, but this was an absolute hit. There was nothing we left saying "oh I wish there was X" because it has everything you could want in a resort. The resort was very clean, though there are some parts that could use updates. Everything about the resort was incredible, and while there may have been one or two little things here or there we wished were different, we will 1000% return in the future.

My personal trainer at the Fitness center, Enrique, was amazing. He was great at giving us exercises to workout. This was an expected service and my mom and I really enjoyed it. We also went to yoga classes, Zumba, which was fun. Lots of good activities. A highlight was the fresh coconut water. Service to the rooms was a little slower. We requested extra towels as we were two people sharing the room, but they could never get it right

This is our first time at MC. The beach is phenomenal as is Darel our butler. He checks in every day, has been on top of our reservation needs and because of him, we will be back :) The rooms are quite dated but they will be closed for renovations from April - November. Food has been good. Buffet at beach is the same every day but we switch it up with the Al la carte luncheon in the Gourmet restaurant. And the Gourmet was EXCEPTIONAL!! As I don't eat breakfast, they treated my husband with kindness everyday. They also decorated our table with flowers each time we came for dinner. Special thanks to Martina, Ariel for going beyond the call of duty and making our stay extra special ❤️

The staff was so friendly. Mata e coco was so funny. The nightly shows were very entertaining - like having our own Coco Bongo experiences! They have an entire team dedicated to entertaining the guests with games and parties, so much to do! The food was fantastic - 5 restaurants to choose from and we never had the same thing for dinner twice! Can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful experience for a family vacation. Teppanyaki at Ma+Suri, and Le Gourmet are the best restaurants here. The buffet food is average, nothing phenomenal, but nearly on par with any buffet back in the states. I recommend getting the buffet items they cook in front of you. The other items tend to sit out for a hot minute. 90% of the staff was beyond friendly and courteous. The towel cabana worker is a bit of a grouch, but it is easily made up for by the service of Edwin and Yohanny (two of the bartenders). Can't state my appreciation for those two enough. Always smiling, even when serving the rude college kids who were here. As we were checking out, we were given fliers, requesting we give the resort 4 stars or higher on each category, and the workers strongly push for us to leave Google reviews. Honestly, that's probably the biggest downside for me. Being pushy for reviews has always rubbed me the wrong way. The rooms again, were an average experience. Your typical hotel room - cramped, and not very well maintained, but certainly acceptable. 4.5 stars, would love to come again!
