My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Majestic Colonial and it was the best decision we could have made. We had the most wonderful time and wish our trip was longer than 10 days. Every single staff member we encountered was amazing and made our trip so memorable. The entertainment team was a true highlight: Panda, Honey, Hot Chocolate, Francis, and everyone else made every day so enjoyable and were so energetic that it was hard to not want to jump into their activities. They really were a bright spot of our honeymoon and will be part of our lasting memories. The bartenders were also incredible, so engaging, talented, and creative. We loved talking to them and watching them work, and when we asked for them to create their drink special for us, they absolutely delivered. The food at the resort was delicious. I loved eating the Dominican food that was at the buffet, it truly opened my eyes to new flavors and tastes that I want to recreate at home. The food can sometimes be hit or miss at resorts, but this was an absolute hit. There was nothing we left saying "oh I wish there was X" because it has everything you could want in a resort. The resort was very clean, though there are some parts that could use updates. Everything about the resort was incredible, and while there may have been one or two little things here or there we wished were different, we will 1000% return in the future.

My personal trainer at the Fitness center, Enrique, was amazing. He was great at giving us exercises to workout. This was an expected service and my mom and I really enjoyed it.
We also went to yoga classes, Zumba, which was fun. Lots of good activities. A highlight was the fresh coconut water.
Service to the rooms was a little slower. We requested extra towels as we were two people sharing the room, but they could never get it right

Our room was great and the resort is lovely with lots of walking between rooms and restaurants but it is a large resort. Easy access for all except into the pools. All the pools were great and the swim up bar was fantastic, the beach was beautiful . The food was varied and exceptional. i The a la carte arestaurants were good as were the other restaurants especially the steakhouse and the seafood. Every server was frriendly and exceptional at their job. Our Bulter Edwin was amazing and a special shout out to the activities put on the resort. Bingo, with Honey, was a highlight of our day. Aquaexercise with Sabroso and his pure joy of the music and the sun made evryone happy even those not in the water. Pool event daily were at hit to watch and participate in. Entertainment in the evenings was also great. A great tiem was had by all. We will return.

We had our vacation starting January 4th until the 9th the place is honestly great. My husband and I had a sweet dinner together at one of their restaurants named Taino and it was honestly so fun. The waiters are super awesome and sweet. We had Juan and Anuar serving us and they were super attentive and trying to engage with us in such a fun and friendly manner. My family and I definitely want to come back for another trip and stay at Majestic again! Thank you guys so much!
Just a star lower for rooms because they had an issue only day one for the air conditioning which was fixed upon request within 20mins. And I heard they are closing to do renovations so we are super excited to see the new upgrades. Its definitely recommended if you want an all inclusive resort with very friendly staff, beach front rooms and a huge pool with multiple bars and also a gym and casino AND a theater with themed nights for all their guests. A huge pleasure 😁

This has got to be the worst resort I have ever stayed at. The staff on the resort are very nice and accommodating , The staff by the bars and the pool and the room service are absolutely lovely. My biggest concern and feedback about this resort is how dated and dirty it actually is. The party that I stayed with has two separate rooms one of the rooms. The AC is so blaring loud it has to be off to be able to sleep at night as well as a towel rack for drying your clothes it's broken off of the wall. The second room that we are staying in. (My personal room) The coffee cups that were given in the coffee bar are dirty, the shower does not drain properly with about 2 inches of water that you're standing in every time you shower, the towels in the bathroom are also dirty as well as the complementary soaps and shower towels that were given to us are also used and half full.
The amenities around the resort are extremely dated as well as the resort itself needs some definite upgrades. We checked in as VIP guests and we're supposed to have been offered an upgrade in rooms when that was not mentioned to us. We realized it and then went to the front desk to contact them and basically were told there's nothing they can do for us and when we brought up the complaints about the room It's now about six hours later and still nothing has been done about the drain, the towels, or the overall cleanliness of the room. I'm not only spoke to the front desk people, but also to the management on duty at the time (Sunday February 15th at 12:30pm) and they were extremely dismissive, not caring, borderline rude about the situation
On top of the cleaning of the rooms, the buffet options for food are extremely extremely limited. The Buffet does not offer quality options nor does it offer quality food. Not being a picky eater whatsoever I still find it very difficult to find foods that are reasonable to eat
I would not recommend this resort to ANYONE To stay out until some upgrades are done, as well as if you read through the reviews that are left on this, they are about the staff not about the resort itself, which is giving in the rating that it currently has. At most this resort is a two star resort.
In addition: The Wi-Fi has been out on the resort for hours, when we called the front desk to inquire about what's going on they were very uncaring and said it'll be back up when it's up or working on it. I understand this may be something out of the control it's just a cherry on top of the rest of my experience.
