Overall, it was a nice hotel, but it was the first all-inclusive hotel I have visited where I had to queue for almost everything, including the restaurant, bars, and reception. I only had eggs for breakfast twice because the queue was always at least 15 minutes long. The food was average, there was plenty of choice and I was never hungry, but I found myself eating very similar food most evenings. Breakfast was much better. The meat was not great, but the paella and seafood were really good. The service was among the worst I have experienced. That said, the staff in the main restaurant were excellent. Benito at breakfast and Nuna at dinner were both amazing and provided outstanding service. Regarding the excursions I booked through the hotel, the boat party with snorkelling was disappointing and not worth the time or money. The trip started almost an hour late, and the snorkelling experience was poor. In contrast, the full-day trip to Saona and Catalina was excellent, and I would highly recommend it. Communication was sometimes difficult because not many people spoke English. Additionally, the seaweed on the beach was only cleaned twice during my stay, as far as I could tell.

We stayed at the Grand Bavaro Princess for 7 days. It was our first time trying an all-inclusive resort, and this resort has set a very high standard for us!
Firstly, the resort is a short drive from the airport, making it easily accessible. We flew in from Canada, and the check-in process went very smoothly. Our first impression was that the resort is extremely well-maintained, and the staff are very friendly. Also, the food was delicious.
There are two buffets to try, and the quality of the meals is spectacular. The resort also has several restaurants available to book, which adds greater variety beyond the buffet menu. Guest Services and the front desk are always willing to help, providing great insight into how to make your trip even smoother!
Lastly, there are so many excursions available to try, and the beach is absolutely beautiful! There are several pools around the resort as well. We tried parasailing at the resort, which was a fun experience.
Overall, I highly recommend this resort!

I was there last week for a 7 days all inclusive.
The hotel was big but very clean , even the public bathrooms were spotless at all times, the staff are amazing , service every where was good , very friendly staff anything we asked for was done with a smile. Lots of shows to enjoy , by the beach at night , the show every night in the lobby was great specially when Mario was singing he was amazing , not just the voice he has but also the way he got everyone to get up and dance and enjoy the lobby vibe .
Overall I give the hotel 9 out a 10 .
PS: they have lots of peacocks everywhere they are so beautiful and other animals that are very well taken care of .

Grand Bavaro Princess is a very nice and large resort with plenty of restaurants and food choices. The staff is friendly and provides good service throughout the property.
The only thing I did not like was being constantly approached with offers of free gifts, memberships, and sales presentations.
I am on vacation to relax, and I have no interest in sitting through marketing pitches or listening to advertisements. Guests should be able to enjoy their vacation without feeling pressured or interrupted.
The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed. However, the bath towels are old, worn out, and should be replaced with newer ones.
Overall, I had a good stay and would recommend the resort for its beautiful property, variety of dining options, and friendly staff. A few improvements in guest experience and towel quality would make the resort even better.

Very very nice resort. There were some pros and cons. The staff were extremely helpful and I would like to personally give a shout out to Harlem in guest services. He was excellent and very helpful. The rooms are very nice. My patio door wouldn’t lock, but someone came to fix it right away. Victor the bartender was awesome! The Wi-Fi signal is not very strong so make sure your cellular data is reliable. It is a huge resort so at night it is easy to get lost. There are path lights, but sometimes I felt as though I was walking through a corn maze. It all depends on your travel needs. Plenty of options for different people. The employees are extremely helpful.
