Before I went to the resort I read some of the reviews and was a bit scared… but to be honest my experience and my family’s was super good. Rooms were comfy, food was good, it is true that queues at the bar to get a drink sometimes were long and that even though the deck chair cannot be reserved, no one controls that and you end up doing the same if you want to lay down. Besides this, staff were nice so we cannot complaint. We would go back to this resort.

We had a very nice stay! Food was amazing, friendly animation team that was taking care of fun nights and we had very lovely waiter in the restaurant. Onery always greeted us with huge smile and provided the best service! I hope to come back soon.

After visiting this hotel 3 times in its various guises, this will definitely be the last. To say it’s gone downhill is an understatement. I will make this as honest as I can, and to give credit where it’s due, our room, the grounds and most of the staff were excellent. Very friendly and polite. However, that’s where the good stuff ends. The food in the buffet restaurants is pretty dire. 2 of our party ended up being hospitalised with gastrointestinal issues, both due to poor food hygiene in my opinion. The à la carte restaurants aren’t much better except the Amazonian Tiera which was great on both occasions we managed to get a booking. The bar options are very limited unless you pay for Sun Club, and while being marketed as a 24 hour all inclusive resort, the only 24 hour facility is the coffee shop, which is also good by the way. The onsite shops are a rip off. $10 for a bag of crisps or a can of red bull. My advice take a taxi into Dominicus and shop local. A return fare is about $5. In closing, look elsewhere for a decent hotel.

Great resort, great restaurants, great staff!
Services provaded at top level.
At night it was a little loudly, strollers and motos used by staff at night shift were so loud sometimes, recomendation for hotel is to start use a quiet electric vehicles. Food was delicious at any of restaurant that we have out meals. Sun club beach was not crowed, best recomendation. Beach bars, snacks, sunbeds, beach towels, pools, music… Coco caffe- 24h open- for coffe lovers. The room was spacious and comfortable. Always smiling staff- made our every day calm and relaxed. Two excursions were canceld because of heavy rain so we had to wait for our money back 3 days - thats the only thing that we wasn’t happy at all, but if you pay by dollars or euros they don’t have at hotel deposit so they have to go to the office(out of resort) … or that what has been told to us. Gym is big enough and also not crowedy.
We skiped two excursions but rain haven’t ruin our vacai. The whole resort is an oasis, so calm and green, morning walks are the best!

I give a 3/5 just because of the location of the beach, which had very few algae in the water. Besides that, almost everything is below.
We were there for a week. On arrival, the receptionist just checked in and said very little. Almost no one speaks english in the resort, only spanish. They said everything was in the app (which has almost no information). No map was given and we took a while to find our place since there is very little placards with directions all around the hotel. There was always a line for everything: breakfast, lunch, drinks. The service was very poor, you had to keep reminding them of everything, even basic water. They didnt have enough cutlery for everyone, so you would get a table for 4 with 2 knifes, 1 cup and 3 forks. The staff was never very pleasant, always like it was an obligation to serve you. And there was a clear ritual of at 7am everyone go and put towels at the beach and pool. You would hear every door knock at that hour. And even at 7am, which was when the towel hut opened, there were no vacant seats anywhere. People with kids had to wake up at 5:30am. There was little to no space in the shade and the most infuriating part was people reserved shades and didnt use them all day. When we alerted the staff for this, they said they could do anything even though it was clearly stated that they could remover towels and personal belongings if left unattended/ reserving seats. The hotel guests were very entitled even when confronted with this, saying they had a right because they paid for it. Hello? Everyone paid. This isnt a free resort lol. The drinks at the beach and pool were very low quality, only cheap concentrated. At the buffet, there were huge lines and food was short, even easy stuff like pizza. And the mangoes, which were delicious, were one plate only for the whole day (crazy since its a buffett, they should have bought more). We did end up making the most of it but it fell very short of our expectations. The only thing to make up was the beach water and the climate. Definitely won’t be going back to this hotel. We even went to the lobby to tell them about all this problems and zero compensation effort was made.
