I gave this hotel 3 • We have been to this hotel previous and I think it was a 5 • I think that it’s under new management because male person comes across as abrupt at reception .
Myself is partially disabled when we arrived we were booked in and given our room number etc at this time it seemed busy we were on the 3rd floor and had to wait for the lift to serve 9 floors as the 2nd was out of order this caused delays getting to your room speaking with other customers this has been the case since October another customer said it was the same in February last year !
When my wife went to reception as we were there for 10 days enquired about the lift she was told DUNNO ?? Abruptly.
Apart from this there was no issue room was spotless sheets changed daily etc , Dining area also could not complain staff went above and beyond, a special Thankyou to Venetta she made our stay complete Thankyou x

This was the first time we visited Benidorm and stayed at Villa Del Mar Hotel and we were very pleased with our stay. All staff was very friendly and no ask was too much trouble! Thank you to everyone but, big thank you to Angie from reception who helped us changing from a disabled room to a see side view room!!! Special thanks to Gina and Dorina from restaurant, they dis make a difference to our stay!!!
What a wonderful experience! We can't wait to be back again!

We stayed here for 9 nights in a beachfront hotel with an amazing sea view. Our room was a decent size, with an ensuite bathroom and a jacuzzi, which was a really nice touch. However, the shower design wasn’t great, as the lack of a proper shower door often caused the bathroom to flood.
Unfortunately, the hotel fell short in several areas downstairs. The outdoor pool was very small and freezing cold, and the pool bar was closed during our stay. There is also a rooftop pool, but you have to pay extra to use it, which feels unfair when staying all-inclusive.
The entertainment room in the basement was unusable due to a very strong unpleasant smell. We stepped out of the lift, noticed it immediately, and went straight back upstairs. Speaking of lifts, only one was working throughout our stay, which meant long waits and frequent queues. If you were on a middle floor, it was often already full by the time it reached you—very inconvenient.
On a more positive note, the restaurant was a highlight. It offered a wide selection of food in a buffet-style setup. As a fussy eater, I always managed to find something I enjoyed. The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, and the bar next door was also a nice addition.
Overall, while the room and food were good, the hotel facilities and maintenance issues let the experience down.

We are at the Village del Mar now , we moved our holiday from the Flamingo Oasis. It’s is a front row hotel with uninterrupted views of the Poniente Beach and bay. We have a sea view room which has the fabulous views. The windows open so it’s like having a balcony. We are all inclusive . The hotel now has their own bar next door which is great in the evening and also there is a bar up on the beautiful roof terrace. There are plenty of seats up there and sun beds. It is a gentle 10 min stroll into the old town at night and about 15minutes into the new town. The old town is really lovely. We went on the open top bus tour of Benidorm this morning and are so pleased we chose this hotel instead of the Flamingo Oasis which is a long way from the beach and set amongst other high rise blocks of apartments and hotels and the very very busy Levante beach side on Benidorm .
The food is good with masses of choice every day and the drinks are excellent. The mini bar is stock with wine, beers and soft drinks and is free. There is a water machine on each floor . The hotel is a little dated admittedly but spotlessly clean . Lovely new towels , changed daily and excellent bedding on very comfortable beds. I would recommend you pay for a sea view as it is well worth it.We will definitely be back. The weather is perfect for sunbathing at the minute and the town is gearing up for the festa which starts at the weekend.

We have just finished our holiday here and had an absolutely fantastic time. All the staff were lovely and helpful and the room was spotless. We got the jacuzzi room which was incredible and the sea view is to die for. We had breakfast included and we were amazed at the selection as I haven't seen another hotel with so much choice and everything was so tasty. The rooftop bar had the best views watching the sunset and the drinks were very tasty especially the melon mojito! The location is really good, there are multiple bars and restaurants on the same street and it is a short walk into the old town and there is a small market a few minutes down let alone being opposite the beach and it is quite a quiet area which was really nice. Overall the time we had was amazing and I would definitely stay again. Thank you so much!
