Rooms; OK on first sight but could do with a redo of the sealant (mold) and antiscale of the shower (dirty)
Also, upon arrival we wasted a hour or so on a handyman to fix the lock as it's servo died and didn't lock the door (CHECK if your door is locked before leaving!)
To add to all, drunk English people smacking doors two nights keeping all awake. No security to control this at all.
Also the front gate was mostly open all night multiple nights, very unsafe due to certain people walking around that area.
Airconditioning; it only cools 5 degrees under outside temp, when leaving it stops any cooling and housekeeping just smacks open the curtains thus heat your room to 30 degrees... Also it's very noisy.
Beds; a lot of sounds, bad mattress (holes and springs bumping) and the cushions are bricks (went to a furniture store ourselves to get something descent enough for a sleep) reception didn't help with any of these complaints.
Also to add on housekeeping; they never properly scrubbed the floor (dirty from previous users) and upon complaint they simply refused a towel refresh or empty the bins for a few days... This is unacceptable as we need to throw toilet paper in a bin, it must be emptied daily.
Service was great besides this. (Laughable right?)
Well, breakfast was OK if you have mid expectations.
As for price, we paid a fair price so our expectations were set by this.
Would book again for this price but not a penny more.

Absolutly perfect little hotel. Right in the middle of the action for Amercanas, but far enough back that you aren't bombarded with noise etc. Brilliant little gym which is better kitted out than some leisure centres ! Staff are friendly and lovely and the food is really really good and varied. Will 100% be coming back!

We stayed at Vanilla Garden Hotel for four nights to celebrate our anniversary. Before arriving, I sent the hotel an email explaining the occasion and made a few small requests, such as a complimentary room upgrade or something to mark the celebration. The hotel replied acknowledging my message, but nothing was done — no decoration, no fruit, no cake, no gesture of any kind.
Check-in was easy and straightforward with a welcome drink, and I want to mention that the staff at both reception and the restaurant were genuinely friendly and pleasant — no complaints there. However, room cleaning is virtually non-existent. Housekeeping only replaced towels and didn’t remove rubbish or properly clean the room during our stay.
One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was because it’s adults-only, expecting a bit of peace and quiet. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. Every morning around 7:30, loud construction work began in the courtyard — constant drilling and banging that went on throughout the day. This made it impossible to rest, have a lie-in, or even relax by the pool. It showed a complete lack of consideration for guests.
The hotel is centrally located, which is convenient, but it’s clear that it needs a major upgrade. The rooms and bathrooms are dated and not maintained to a four-star standard. Our toilet, for example, kept running continuously unless you spent several minutes trying to fix it yourself.
Overall, I’d rate this a 3 out of 5. It’s an okay stay if you value location, but the facilities, maintenance, and guest experience fall short of what a four-star hotel should offer.

Stayed March 2026. Reception staff were great, pool area us stunning, room unfortunately didn't match . Flooring chipped and spongy, chipped tiles in bathroom, shower tray cracked , and woodwork on Balcony rotten with paint peeling . Strange to have a microwave in the room but no cutlery or plates etc ?
Very good entrance system , with built in Alarm , and double glazing was very good at keeping noise out .
