The apartment itself was spacious and generally sufficient for our stay. However, all the furnishings, equipment, including the bathroom, were very old. Normally this wouldn’t be a major issue, but it was absolutely not in line with the price we paid – 240 EUR per night.
The biggest problem was the lack of sound insulation. The windows were old and poorly insulated, so every sound from outside was clearly audible. For a property in this price range, the owners should seriously consider investing in new windows or proper soundproofing.
Cleaning was provided only once every four days. This might be acceptable for lower-priced accommodation, but at this price level, daily cleaning is usually standard and would be expected.
The accommodation also recommends using a safe, but the safe comes with an extra charge. Again, for a property in this price category, this should be included in the price.
Our apartment was located right next to a stage where a New Year’s Eve party was taking place. We returned from the city center at 1:30 a.m., and the music was still playing extremely loudly. At that point, there were only about five guests dancing, while the rest were staff members. Because of a few people, hundreds of apartment guests were unable to sleep.
I understand that this happens only once a year, but even so, it does not seem acceptable to keep loud music playing at full volume when almost everyone else is trying to sleep.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Good value for money for some winter sun. The main pool area was such a great vibe! Popular music, dance routines, competitions, really friendly animation staff. Pool drinks great, pool lunches a little pricey and could be better. The views from our balcony were great and the shower pressure was a dream. Plenty of street parking around the hotel if you rent a car

We had a really enjoyable stay at Hollywood Mirage Hotel and overall would recommend it, especially for families.
The rooms were spacious and very clean. There was plenty to do for kids, and the kids’ club was great — our 2-year-old loved it. The pool area was excellent, with one warm heated pool and two other pools offering lots of entertainment throughout the day.
Unfortunately, the only negative aspect of our stay was an issue with customer service at reception. One receptionist with brown hair was extremely rude to us on two separate occasions and showed very poor customer service skills. We also spoke to another couple who had experienced the same issue with her, which suggests this wasn’t an isolated incident.
Aside from this, everything else about the hotel was very good, and with better consistency in customer service, it would be an excellent family resort.

★★★★★ Excellent family stay
We stayed at Hollywood Mirage from 8–15 December in a duplex apartment (room 6030). The apartment was very nice, clean, quiet, and perfect for sleep. The view was great. We had two terraces: one very private with sunbeds, and another open one, which was ideal.
The hotel is huge, like a small village, with many swimming pools and daily activities, especially for kids. We have two children and they loved it. There are also quieter pools if you want peace and relaxation.
The hotel is on a hill and a bit steep, but it wasn’t a problem. You can rent a double scooter and charge it at the hotel—we charged ours every night. There are stairs nearby that take you down quickly to a shopping centre (about 3 minutes). On the roof there are great restaurants, cocktail bars, fast food, Mexican food, and evening shows with big screens.
The beach is not far. The hotel was very clean, everything well organised. The staff were excellent—reception and pool staff especially friendly and helpful.
Perfect for families. We will definitely come back.

The resort looks nice from the outside and has good facilities. There are several swimming pools, as well as a gym and a spa. The breakfast was very generous and nutritious, with plenty of options. The staff were also friendly and helpful — they were happy to assist with things like calling a taxi.
On the downside, the location is a bit inconvenient. The resort is quite far from the beach and sits on top of a hill. There is a free shuttle bus running every hour, which is helpful. However, if you have early plans (for example, our diving started at 9:00 am), earlier than the shuttle service begins, you’ll need to walk downhill to the beach yourself.
The room itself was fairly average. The furniture felt quite old, and unfortunately the bed sheets and blankets didn’t seem very clean, which was a bit disappointing🥲
