Loved our stay in November. Perfect temperature and excellent location right next to the sea. Half an hour walk along the beach tomorrow Moro Jable. Ample parking on the street for free outside the hotel, we never had issues finding a place. Hotel staff were very friendly and smiley. Rooms were spacious and clean. The food was pretty good. Lunch and dinner varied slightly day by day with the menu which made a nice change. Some dishes were a little bit cold. A lot of the lunch and dinner hot dishes were very salty, some of them almost inedible they were so salty. Pools are very clean and all other facilities were nicely maintained. We would book here again for the right price.

Rotten food in magico- main restaurant and uncooked meat (chicken and pork), moulded food in a kids area, rotten cheese, greenish ham, preery much same food every day (left overs has been warmed up following days to the point where not eadable). We had to see a doctor when arrived back home. Food poison to all of us and bug bites that caused my little one infections - on antibiotics awaiting another doctor visit to carry on treatment as is still bad.
Surely food agency will need to carry inspection at this place! Some of the dishes has extreme amount of salt to kill the taste of not fresh meat.
Massive cockroaches Found on our very last night of staying and plenty of dot like ants (this was the only time we got awake at night packing, so maybe that's why we haven't seen those earlier).
If you remove your beddings you'll see the state of mattress - unbelievable.
As per hotel in general is great in terms of pools, views, entertainment - the entertainment team and ladies that looking after kids are absolutely amazing, plus the dancers are incredible❣️ Ali keeps you moving on a dance floor amazingly too 😊.
Plenty to do during the day (if you book on the app) and always life music and entertainment in the evening until late.
Is ashame that is very far from any kind of town, but still we were not bored.
Mateo, the house keeper- the greatest man and best cleaner, extremely kind and polite, but quite a lot of staff there (including kitchen and bar staff) is very miserable like working there as a punishment - sorry but that's impression of quite few people I was talking to. Crazy David at the plaza bar - always too service too.
In general is very family orientated hotel, with all nice guests, can see kids around in the pool, the lagoon pool isn't deep on long strip, so can children can have freedom of being in the water without you chasing them as can be watched from sun loungers, or simply relax on a splash area while kids running around.
If the food hygiene and quality of food plus bugs would improve, then we would be happy to be back as the entertainment team works really hard to make sure people in all ages enjoy the staying. But unfortunately the restaurant food is dangerous, even some bread has mould- which is ashame

NEVER AGAIN - AND WE'VE BEEN HERE AT LEAST 20 TIMES - MAX 3 STARS!
We used to visit this hotel about twice a year for at least 15 years. We haven't been there for five years now. The hotel has deteriorated so much that I will never go there again. The drinks were undrinkable – Virgin Mojito = Sprite with mint, alcohol that was really undrinkable – I had to buy Aperol Spritz for €6.50. Many things are charged extra. The most beautiful lawn (with sun loungers by the pool) with a sea view from the sun lounger (the only one in the hotel, because otherwise you have a terrace from which you can only see the sea when you stand up) has been converted into paid beds from EUR 20 per person per day. Even though we wrote four months in advance about what kind of room we wanted, we didn't get it, and when we asked to move, saying we would pay whatever it cost (three times at the reception), they told us they would let us know, and it wasn't until the fourth day (out of seven) that a note arrived telling us to come to the reception for information about the move. It is very difficult to book tennis, and the same goes for restaurants – we only managed to get into one, the others are always full. In the main restaurant, they no longer bring you drinks (even with dinner), but you have to queue up at a vending machine like in a factory canteen. There are far fewer staff at the hotel. The rooms are old and worn out, and the hotel is dilapidated. Every other hotel in the area is nicer. A huge disappointment.

This hotel had everything going for it to be perfect, but it's far from it. It has a privileged and incredible location, and some of the staff, especially some of the entertainment team members, are very hardworking and put in a lot of effort. However, the major issue for me is the cleanliness, particularly in the main 'Magico' restaurant. Much of the crockery is poorly washed, mugs are chipped and broken, glasses are dirty, and the surfaces where the food is displayed are often filthy. The serving platters are broken and look uncared for. The restaurant's ceiling and walls are covered in damp patches with pieces falling off, and the accumulated grease and dust on the wires and ceilings above the food stations is horrifying and disgusting.
There is a blatant lack of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the entire restaurant, and the employees seem to be working unwillingly. Another truly appalling issue is the careless handling of food: without any concern, they handle cooked food with their bare hands without washing them. I saw several employees use their hands to grab food with no care and no concern whatsoever.
This lack of cleanliness extends throughout the hotel. On the day we arrived, it was past midnight and we ate at the main reception bar. The refrigerated cabinet on top had mounds of dust, and the cabinet doors were filthy. The sheer lack of cleanliness is staggering. I wonder who the manager of this hotel is, as they clearly do not see this unsanitary situation in the dining areas. The swimming pool and sun lounger area is also very dirty, especially behind the loungers. The same rubbish was behind our sun loungers for 7 days. It had everything to be good, but it is in complete neglect.
It's a shame, because despite its age, this hotel has everything it needs to be perfect with just a few adjustments, such as better organization and stricter hygiene protocols. We recently stayed in a 3-star hotel in Gran Canaria that, compared to this one, felt like a 5-star in terms of food, hygiene, and cleanliness of the facilities. It's truly disappointing to see such potential wasted due to complete neglect.

Amazing place, where everyone can find something interesting!
Multiple swimming pools suitable for adults and children. Plenty of space, clear and clean water, variable depths and bar with drinks and snacks right in the middle!
Food Hall with a HUGE ‼️ selection of tasty and fresh food. Every day they serve different food for lunch and dinner but also offer some regular dishes such as pizza and pasta.
Hotel seems huge from the outside but with multiple buildings it doesn't feel that way at all!
And finally, cherry on the cake, the beach! It's literally next to the hotel and it's one of the best beaches I've ever seen! Crystal clear water, waves offering hours of fun, golden sand and black rocks 🏖️
Rooms are probably the weakest point of the hotel as they should've been refurbished a while ago but we didn't go there to sit in the room 😉
